It's newly remodeled and looks really nice inside they actually have some really good breakfast specials I always get the Grand slam which has been the same for 30 years. Denny's on 29 never fails to surprise me, sometimes in a good way and sometimes not; however, last night about 9 they surprised me relentlessly with cleanliness, quality, and the upmost friendly and helpful staff beyond any roadside service I've ever had. I guess they changed brands of country fried steak because the new stuff they have has a flavor of liver and doesn't taste good at all, let's see the mashed potatoes and gravy well it was gravy but the potatoes I don't know, and last but not least sweet corn how do you serve sweet corn when all it tastes like is salt? Their carry out is very quick and reliable and easy to call in. Their website ordering is the best.

Food is good and servers are friendly. Downside is the service is slow.. Even when they aren't busy service is slow...

Another great Dennys experience. Massive double cheeseburger and crispy fries with a $2 add on of a bowl of soup and a dessert. Service was fast and friendly. Price was amazing. read more

This is one of the only places off the highway that isn't fast food so I stopped in reluctantly for dinner. Glad I did! I even came back the next morning for breakfast. Food was prepared great, service was courteous and attentive, restaurant was clean. read more

Worst service possible! They told us the kitchen was closed. Another server told us it was still open and they don't close. We waited 55' before we left without eating or at least having a cup of coffee. Try a different Denny's next time. read more

Stopped to have breakfast on way to Florida. First impression the restraunt looked nice well decorated. We ordered eggs over easy , yolks were half cooked. Hashbrowns were practically raw and served cold, coffee was awfull left a film on side of cup!! Toast was ok but you cant really screw that up . Bacon was good crisp like i asked for. Mens bathroom was flooded water running out the door on floor. Overall food was blan no taste but we were hungry after driving all night.. Wont be visiting a Dennys anytime soon!! read more

This is my first time at the Denny's in Brunswick. I was hungry and in a rush so I stopped by. My server was Tenille and she was excellent! She helped me figure out what I wanted and was extremely nice. Her customer service skills were great. She cashed us out and even gave us directions to the St. John's Town Center. My husband and I frequent this particular Denny's quite often. The place is very large, clean, and the servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is always cooked to perfection! I have never ordered anything that was not fixed exactly the way I requested. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger that was so huge he was unable to take a bite without cutting it first! I ordered the bourbon bacon burger (my favorite), and it was cooked to perfection! This place is well worth your patronage! read more

We stopped by in 4th of July greeted/seated by hostess... our server, Kenzie, took our drink/food order... everything came to us as ordered... Kenzie was very personable and accommodating - it's not often in this day n age to have young people actually stop and take time to chat... she is a hometown girl and absolutely delightful - we frequent this location often and look forward to the continued 110% service... This is for the Denny's at Exit 29 off I 95. Just to be sure I address the right one. Waitress took our order & we waited 40 minutes. She came back twice to the table next to us & said nothing of the delay in getting our meals. We had to call out to her as she ignored us what appeared to be intentionally. She finally responded and said our ticket had been lost so it was just resubmitted. We told her we would just leave & to forget the order. There was very disrespectful behavior towards us, a young senior couple. Would not recommend this place to anyone. AND they were NOT BUSY. She did not know we are big tippers so she missed out. read more

Looked at the steak skillit on the phone app looked good so i orderd that,well it didnt look anything like the menu at all,the pictures has about 6 cut pcs of steak the served me 3 the pictures of the onions pepers were much they served me 2 spoons of vegtables well now you know this resturant is very shady! read more

The service a food were all right. However, if you're an AARP member and expect a discount, you'd better have a bar code on your card or you'll lose your discount:( I think it's just this stores' policy -- not an AARP policy like they make it -- to deny the discount if you don't have a bar code:( My card has worked at every other Denny's I've been to:) I'll be staying away from this restaurant for like forever and advise you to do the same! read more

Stopped here on the way back to OH----we think this is the BEST Denny's ever!! Had a child with us who wasn't feeling well and asked for No grease on our food and it was awesome! If you are looking for a decent place to eat I would not recommend this place at all! My family and I ate there on 5/3/18 at 6:30pm and it was horrible! We walked in and they weren't that busy so we figured we would be seated right away. We stood there waiting for about 5 minutes then the hostess came and got us and seated us. She didn't thank us for coming in, wished us a good meal or anything. She just walked away. We started looking at the menus and waited for a server to come and take our drink orders, but there wasn't one in sight. We waited for 20 minutes and watched as 2 other tables got up and left because they were tired of waiting. Finally my father in law saw a nearby server and asked her if we could be moved to a section that actually had a server. She apologized and told us that the server who was assigned to our area was refusing to serve her tables because she was mad that another server had taken a table away from her earlier in the night. She offered to be our server and offered us free drinks. We accepted only because we were all hungry. She took our orders and we once again waited. After about 15 minutes we finally got our drinks. About 30 minutes later we finally got our food and 3 out of the 5 of us had cold food. My daughter said her pancakes were cold and tasted dry and horrible. My country fried steak was overcooked. The potatoes were under cooked and even though I asked for no mushrooms I found several mixed in with my food. It also had zero bell peppers which was listed on the menu as part of the dish. We didn't get out of there until 8pm. It took us an hour and a half to eat dinner in a place that was not busy! We appreciated the fact that the girl offered to serve us even though we were not in her section, but considering how long we had to wait before anyone even acknowledged our existence they should have offered us more than an apology and free drinks. The manager was aware of the issue and didn't even bother to come out and talk to us. We definitely were not out for anything free, but we did expect to get better service than what we received. On top of that 3 other tables that were seated after us had to do the same thing as us just to be acknowledged. My husband and I live 20 minutes from this place, but we will not be back! This place used to be okay, but not anymore. read more
