The food's good, when you actually get what you ordered. Been here abut 4 or 5 times and all but one time they have forgotten an item or two and given us the wrong order. This place is close to home and pretty good hence why we even bother coming back. If thus dennys is more than a 5min drive for you just go somewhere else. I used to frequent this location. I went in for an early dinner with my partner yesterday, took about 10 minutes to be seated. And about 30 minutes after we had sat down we had not gotten drinks, or a waitress to come by the table. She had walked right by our booth 4 times, even looking straight at us and continued to ignore us. There were only 3 tables in the entire restaurant that had customers at them. 3 total. In the entire restaurant. The elderly couple was a few tables away were vocal about their issues. As we were with trying to get the waitresses attention. After another 15 minutes we promptly left, leaving our menus at our table. Very poor service. Those young ladies are not showing any good work ethic. read more

We eat out often and at Denny's frequently. That said, we live in Buckeye, this is the closest Denny's to us, but we will never dine here again! In Oct 2017 we visited this location to celebrate our adult son's birthday. He ordered a double cheeseburger with some additional condiments. When we got the bill we found they charged extra for the condiments. Our server Lianne C never said there would be an extra charge, the manager essentially said too bad. So if you choose to dine here, make sure you ask. We never experienced an extra charge for condiments at any other Denny's. So, WE WON'T BE BACK! read more

They have redecorated but the service and food have declined. It took some time before our drink order was taken. When it was she snidely remarked no refills on orange juice. I ordered sausage and basted eggs with hash browns. My husband had a chicken ceasar salad. Again took some time for older to come, my hash browns were so overcooked I only ate the middle, the eggs were so runny they were snotty. We hadn't been there in some time and now I remember why. Came to this Denny's on a Sunday and they got 9 of us in real quick a we only had to wait 10 minutes...our waitress Trish was wonderful and very attentive and we had four kids!! This Denny's by far is the worst Denny's out there. Every time we come here we joke about how bad the service is going to be. It's sad that every time it seems to be worse than the time before. This last time our food came out super cold and when we said something to the waiter he offered us 50% off our bill but when we got to the register they only gave us 15% off. When confronted by the person ringing us up he claimed we must have misunderstood him through his mask. All of us at the table heard 50%. The thing is we waited over an hour for our food as others who came in after us got their food in a timely manner. That seems to be what happens every time we go to this particular Denny's it's ridiculous. We have learned our lesson to not go here when you are super hungry because it will be over an hour to get your food. The waiters and waitresses are never observant of their patrons. It's a horrible place with food that isn't that good and service that is awful. I do not and would not ever recommend going to this particular Denny's ever. Actually I tell people to not go there due to there piss poor service. This isn't just because of COVID either. They were horrible before the COVID pandemic so that isn't a viable excuse. They have horrible customer service. I hope that you can tell by my review that this place is horrible, we have given them many chances and yet we get the same crappy service. My husband and I hardly go to Denny's, this morning we went just for his birthday breakfast. While being seated by the host we noticed how she was in a grumpy mood. When asked a question she would sign very deeply then proceeded to answer the question with an attitude. She apologized to the other guest with "I am sorry I am hungry and I get mad easily" When she sat my husband and I at our table she throw the menu in the center of the table. She continued to walked away with out looking back or saying anything to us. Our waitress on the other hand didn't have the best mood either. We ordered and asked to keep one menu she ignored us and took both menus; with force she swiped it out of my husbands hands. We watched our food in the window for about 10 minutes so when we finally received it, it was of course cold. My coffee cup was empty and she never offered to refill it the whole meal. Our waitress gave us one refill of a soda when we received our food but we were still waiting on our utensils. Once we were given our utensils and receipts right after the one refill, we ate with still having some leftovers. Not being checked on the whole meal, we were not offered any to go boxes. Giving up on waiting for our waitress we left the table to go pay. Once again it was the original host with the grumpy attitude as before. I'm leaving this review in regards to service or lack there of in responce to an incident this moring 7/24/19 Our meal, was fine nothing was out of the ordinary until we were about to leave, as I was waiting for my son to exit the booth, my six year old daughter was a few tables a head of us when approached by our server Joann. Joann leaned down and from a distance I could vaugely hear her ask to give my daughter a kiss or my daughter kiss here not sure of the exact wording as I was seveal tables away, I could see my six year old sightly nod in agreement as if she wasnt quite sure what to do. One thing I was sure before I could do anything in a restaurant filled with people this strange women was kissing her on the cheek. When I got to the register I addressed the situation with the hostess who was very dismissive and said well you know old people sometimes. As if that is any kind of excuse for someone who we have never met before our breakfast today to kiss a child, essentially a stranger. Still in shock and not sure how to respond to the hostess I continued to pay my ticket and leave. I immediately got to my car and called back and requested to speak to the manager, I was placed on hold for more then 5 minutes and when the hostess returned to the phone she said, "well, I just know my manager is going to tell me to ask you to call back around 2 or 3." Now, I could have waited til 2 or 3 to address this issue but I really felt as though I wasnt going to be granted access to the store manager or maybe she already knows about the situation and doesnt want to deal with it. Who knows. My goal was not to get anyone fired but to address the issue that physical contact with customers, customer's children should perhaps be a no no when it comes to employees. But If I cant address this at a store level yelp seems like a good starting point. This was completely inappropriate. My daughter said it was weird and she didnt know how to respond, which lead to a great conversation on boundaries and explaining when you have a feeling that something is wrong or weird it probably is so thanks for that little teaching moment. I would like to add that as I was leaving there were no customers waiting to be seated, no one waiting to check out, and plenty of empty tables, not saying they didnt have customers in the resturant their just didnt seem like any particular pressing issues that a manager couldnt be bothered for a few minutes to speak with someone when I called within minutes of leaving. read more

The Best Denny's I've experienced, and we've tried quite a few. The newer Denny's are a good bet when traveling. I decided on brunch, and had a make-it-your-way grand slam and a side of grits and a gluten free English muffin. I was amazed at how good the muffin was. Moist and light and not at all crumbly. Everything was served exactly as I wished and was very good. My husband had a great salad, and our friend had the grand slam sandwich, which was good. Our waitress (Tina) was terrific. Fast, efficient, smiling, attentive. Couldn't ask for better. read more

I came in today in a hurry with my family and I was so impressed how quickly I was sat. Despite the fact that it was a busy morning for them everyone was seated quickly, with a friendly welcome and quick service. Our server was so polite and always had a smile on her face. My kids enjoyed their food and we where checked on by the most welcoming manager, which I believe her name was Malinda, that we have ever met! By far best Denny's we have ever been too! Denny's is one of those places you go to have something different for breakfast. Now that they have the different kinds of skillets give them a little more of an advantage than Cracker Barrel. This might be the reason why the wait time during the weekend is around 30-45 to be expected. Yet its really worth it the only thing missing is the servers. I normally visit this location because the staff and food is amazing. This afternoon my friends and I visited this location and it was packed. Well here is the problem. We got a table 5mins after to walked in. 20mins later a server asks us for our drink order. Another 10mins she finally shows up to take our food order. 40mins later half our food shows up. My order unfortunately had to be redone two times because it wasn't made right. The other server who ran our food didn't even check the order to see if it was correct. By this point I was NOT happy with the service. No manager or anyone checked on us. Shortly after the removed my food to redo it a staff member walked to every table providing them a discount coupon. Sounds great right? Well the coupon was only good during 4pm-10pm. I'm not sure if anyone from Denny's will see this but if you do I would like to speak with you about this and other issues we have had. My recent experience with Denny's was pleasant. I went at the beginning of the week because my car needed work done, so I decided to stop in for a bite to eat. I was seated right away at a booth. My service was prompt and I enjoyed my conversation with Adrian. I ended up going there a second time this week because I had to run some errands in town. Being a Saturday around lunch time, it was pretty busy. I elected to sit by the counter and was waited once again by Adrian. My experience was positive and pleasant. I was served promptly and treated with a friendly smile. You get a different perspective when you sit at the counter than when you sit at a booth or table. Those servers hustle! We went to Denny's on Christmas night after having a fun family outing. We've been here a million times and it's never gourmet perfection, obviously that's expected, you get what you pay for. But tonight was absolutely unacceptable! Not only did it take them 30+ minutes to take our order, they were out of basic essentials so we had to switch everything we wanted. Then when our food came out finally it obviously was just sitting for a while cause it was all cold! The pancakes were cold and stiff, the mash potatoes and gravy were cold, the toast was stale and hard. My husbands steak, that was suppose to be medium, came out like beef jerky! 3 of my kids ordered chicken wings and they were all completely over cooked and beyond crunchy! The manager took money off our ticket for the items that we couldn't eat which helps but definitely doesn't solve the fact that the cook screwed up everything! And the other orders coming out when we left looked just as bad! I asked the manager what was going on and she just agreed with me and told me she had no clue, as if she didn't have authority to do anything about it. Visited today & I was not pleased with the service , our waitress was more caring about the two men she was flirting with sitting behind us & didn't clean the spilt milk that was brought to us by mistake . She forgot our napkins and didn't check in enough, we finally got napkins from another table. The disappointment started when the food got to the table after waiting way too long for 1:30 in the afternoon. It was far from freshly prepared. My baha quesadilla burger was more like a dried out quesadilla with a jr. Sized over cooker hamburger patty in in the middle.
