Would be nice to place some extra sitting chairs outside or in the entry way and get them toy vending machines out of the way to sit waiting customers. The restaurant is usually short on workers but they do the best they can treating and seating for waiting customers. Would be nice to build an IHOP soon with all the new homes being built. read more

we had great service from our waitress Marla today at Dennys. she was very friendly and efficient.

We had unwashed plates when we received our food and the food looked disgusting. We contacted the manager he looked at the food and just gave a blank stare and advised he was going to comp us. There was no need for a comp as the food was unsanitary and honestly should just be shut down. We walked out with the worst experience and will never visit another dennys in my life time. read more

Very clean and quiet! Came in and was greeted w a smile by a server who brought me to my table and immediately took my drink order. She was very nice and welcoming! Staff seem to actually care about their job and was constantly cleaning and checking on guests. She gave me a few minutes and took my order making a couple of recommendations. I didn't wait long for my food. I had ordered the bourbon glaze chicken skillet and it came out nice and hot. Great presentation which is great! And this is Dennys! It was absolutely delicious! She was always smiling, always friendly, making sure my coffee was never cold and food was ready quick. Very busy mid Sunday morning! We sat at the bar and was greeted right away by Lisa. She along with the rest of the workers were on top of everything and even though they were short staffed and what seemed to have AC problems they were all awesome! The cook was very rude to the waiters he was yelling at the girls telling them to "pay attention" and he yelled "read the menu" loud enough for the customer to hear it was rude and unprofessional. Order my food for pick up when I got there at the time it was supposed to be ready half of the food was sitting there had to wait another 20 minutes for the other half when I got my food home my food was cold and they didn't put any butter for the pancakes and the servings of potatoes who is like half. It's a Denny's. It's predictably dry scrambled eggs and under-toasted bread remain standard. But there are never any surprises and that's why when unsure where to meet people for a quick and cheap breakfast, we end up here. Can't beat the build your own for about $2 per item. Front area and outside had many people waiting. I got in as I opted for counter. There were only 2 waitresses, one supervisor rushing orders, rude people yelling for their takeout. The front had two people getting takeout orders ready. But one of them kept walking around asking other employees to help her. The manager, I assume, stated to one customer he was new and did not know how to enter a take out order. I orderEd eggs Benedict, which had cheese sauce rather than hollandaise sauce. I was so disappointed. so much chaos between cooks and waitstaff. one supervisor was back in kitchen cooking and stated he called two cooks to come in early. I will never eat in a Dennys again. I ordered online a curbside order (due to health issues I have to have limited public contact). I arrived right at my order pickup time and told they needed 5 more minutes and will bring out my order. 20 minutes later still no food! I called and an incredibly rude employee answered the phone saying my order was done but she was "too busy" to bring it out. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused to let me speak to him. Once I finally got my order, the same rude employee said they aren't doing curbside because it's too busy. There were not more than 5 cars in the entire parking lot!!!! If they aren't doing curbside why is it an option online, why does my order confirmation show it, why was the first employee saying she'd bring it out?!?!? The rudeness from that one employee is exactly why I'll never go to Denny's again and I'll be sure to share my experience. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! My son and I were in there for over an hour! First, we waited over 15 minutes for a table which over half of the tables in the restaurant were empty! No one was working the hostess or cashier position and when someone would come up there they were clueless as to what was going on! Finally we got a table, waited about 5 minutes to get drinks and another 10 to get our order even though our server was walking back and forth. I had to ask for refills every time and also, my favorite, asking on the status of our simple order! A kid's meal and an omelette! 45 minutes into being there, we received our food. Fortunately when we did get our food, it was hot. We ate fast and got out of there. The only positive is it new and clean, other than that..go to Cracker Barrel across the street! read more

I have to hand it to this Denny's location on Watson in Buckeye. They have gone above and beyond any expectations on having the absolute WORST service in the food industry (in my opinion). You know, you can't expect much from Denny's, but today (Nov 22) we went in thinking we'd just grab a quick bite and obviously there isn't much over here for breakfast. When we walked in, the hostess (super nice) informed us it would be a few minutes because they only had two servers. No big deal, it wasn't busy at all. We hear one of the waitresses very loudly exclaim "no one wants to work anymore" and my husband and myself, along with the other people waiting to be seated, looked at each other in disbelief. The hostess then took us to our seat, in the very back of the restaurant. There were maybe 8 tables seated total and literally every other table in the restaurant had dirty dishes on it. Every single one. Our poor waitress (older lady, blonde hair) was working as fast as she could, and was as attentive as she could be. We were there a total of about 45 minutes and those dirty tables were left the entire time. I understand being short staffed, but it's pretty gross to smell all those tables with food setting on them. Then, as we were leaving, the waitress at the front of the restaurant (who was complaining about peoe not wanting to work) was VERY loudly expressing her concern that only two waitstaff we're scheduled for Thanksgiving week and how she would just walk out and quit. We paid (still tipped our poor waitress well) and when we walked to our vehicle, a waitress and another employee were out smoking. Cracker Barrel is right across the street and the two times we have been there, it's been stellar with happy employees and clean tables, so we won't be returning to Denny's - even if we're drunk, because it was that gross. read more

Hands down the dirtiest and slowest Denny's we have ever been to. We rarely venture into a Denny's anymore, but a long drive, rainy night car trip had us stopping in. HORRIFIC. WET, dirty table wiped down with a nasty rag by our hostess. We unwrapped our silverware and used our napkins to finish wiping down the table ourselves. White napkins turned brown with a strand of long black hair after wiping the gross table down. Finished it off with a wet wipe from my purse to sanitize. Order taken at about 6:15pm. After 45 min, still no food. Always lovely watching the parties who were sat after you get their food first. Had nothing to do but people watch. Watched what we thought was a scraggly homeless dude in dirty clothes and black crocs hit up two of the counter waitstaff for a cigarette lighter. Turns out this was a cook going on break. We watched him go outside to smoke, run his hands through his black moppy hair several times and return to cooking without washing his hands. That was it for us. We left after about an hour of this shit-show and went across the street to FireHouse subs. Not interested in eating anyplace the waitstaff is so uncaring about their own cleanliness and health, let alone what and how they serve to customers. It was gross to watch. No thanks. Won't ever be back to this Denny's or any other one. Be CLEAN or don't work in food service. Nasty. read more

My servers name is Marissa, Unfortunately we had a horrible experience here. We got to Dennys and was seated at 8:15am, and is now leaving at 10:30am. She did not put in our ticket until we figured that the other customers received their food first. The server kept putting excuses and accusing other servers that they aren't doing their job so she had to assist. Marissa Stated. "It's not rocket science". We got our food last minute and she let us know that it will be out within 5-6 minutes, and lied since we got our food 20 minutes later being 9:57am. She forgot our drinks and when she came back with our new drinks it took her roughly about 5 minutes. Overall, I don't recommend coming to this location, try others ! read more

Worse place to order ever unless you don't want what you actually ordered! Every time I order they mess something up. This time was the draw I ordered the Carmel banana crepes with 2 bacon, scrambled eggs and hash browns this is what I got, take it back they apologized and remake the order I take it go to my car and realized it is chocolate not Carmel that they put on the crepes I go back in this time to get my money back and the manager doesn't refund my card instead gives me $10 out of the drawer which is less then what I paid and on top of it I called before even going there and their line was busy and when I pulled up the one worker was on the phone outside making a personal call. My parents and I frequent this location and the food has always been good. Today I arrived with my husband and had to wait a little while for the hostess to come up front. There were a couple of people waiting to be checked out and someone waiting behind us to be checked in. I think the hostess has a double duty with the kitchen area somehow. So in terms of speed, it was slow to be seated or even acknowledged. However, once we were seated our waiter Justin came over promptly and was friendly and apologetic. He took our drink order right away and we received in within 2 min. When he returned we were ready to order and he took the order promptly as well. Our food came it within 10 min or so. We both ordered Omelets and they were delicious. The location is a typical Denny's set up and you could see they had just finished the morning rush- but were cleaning up as they took care of their other duties.
