When do our robot overloads achieve total domination? Well, that day is coming soon, as a robot delivered our food, tableside, at Denny's. Somehow, he/she navigated a dozen other tables and people, arriving with everything we ordered, super hot and not one spill. AND was friendly. Six of us at table, and not one frown. Denny's food, which I had not tried in years, is pretty good! We got everything from burgers to an omelette to (me) the Cinnamon Roll Pancake Slam (pancakes with cream cheese icing, two eggs, hashbrowns and bacon or sausage -- $14). And do not sleep on the smoothies here, the strawberry/banana was a hit. Despite being quite busy, the human service was also great. Our server checked to make sure the robot had not made any mistakes, which of course he/she had not. Keep Denny's on your list! And please tip your robot.

Breakfast burrito #4 0/5 = SPIT IT OUT 1/5 = one bite is enough 2/5 = two bites is enough 3/5 = decent 3.5/5 = decent but tastier 4/5 = so good 4.5 = almost 5/5 good 5/5 = LADY GAGA (inspired by her interview meme "talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.") I feel people don't listen to fast food restaurants when it comes to breakfast burritos and I totally get it. I don't think a Jack-in-the-box would compare to a mom and pop shop, and the quality of ingredients is the tip of the iceberg. But I feel places like IHOP and Dennys are in this weird limbo. Some foods are questionable and others are actually really tasty and we can hope the ingredients used are the closest to fresh as possible. So with all this being said, their breakfast burrito is pretty solid. One bite to the right and you get hit with bacon and one bite to the left you get hit with sausage and then as you continue eating, everything comes together. Hash browns used! Nicely paired with the side of salsa they give you and a great size burrito. Not my go-to, but I see myself getting this again. 3/5

We had dinner at this Denny's for the first time in a long time and it was surprisingly good! I got the Alaskan Salmon (I know, Alaskan salmon at Denny's!) and husband got the Chicken Fried Chicken. We both added a garden salad. The food was very good, the salmon was cooked perfectly! And so was the Fried chicken! Service was prompt. Server was very attentive. We were having dinner at 7:15 PM, the restaurant was open in terms of seating and quiet. Restaurant was clean, I like this Denny's decor, pictures of scenes of California on the wall. Very pleasant experience.

Ordering delivery from this Denny's on Alameda never disappoints. The food is always prepared fresh, and it's delivered hot! Love that! The shake are soooooo good!!!! They're open late (11pm) so they are great for late night snacks

    Highly recommend! Skillet

The food was absolutely delicious! Isabel was a wonderful hostess and waitress - she took great care of us the entire time. Roberto made sure everything coming out of the kitchen was perfect, even down to small details like making sure cheese was added when needed. I couldn't finish my meal because I was full, but everyone else in my family cleaned their plates - that's how good it was! | didn't even get a chance to take pictures before the food was gone. Highly recommend!

We love this Denny's! All the servers and people we have interacted with are great. The food is consistently at a great level for Denny's. This review is for the server robot they recently implemented. No. Just no. Get that shit right outta here. Useless, annoying sounds, and couldn't navigate without the help of the server. The second you respond saying they pulled it out of the store, this review goes to 5 stars. Get it together.

Its also the main breakfast option for guests. Expect a 5-10 wait for breakfast. The adult and child buffet are actually very reasonable compared to the typical Hyatt or Marriott buffets. They tend to have the same stuff: scrambled eggs with cheese, spinach, and tomatoes, bacon, a thick chicken sausage, and roasted potatoes for the hot stuff. They have oatmeal, cereals, Chobani Yogurt, and assorted baked goods. My son's favorite of course are bananas, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Although the food doesn't change, its consistently good. 4 stars overall. For ala carte items, we tried Nutella-stuffed french toast, Avocado Toast, and an egg white scramble which turned out to be my wife's favorite. Super rich with healthy proteins and fats. For our three trips, we got the best service from Miko. The other two times the servers were less attentive and the kitchen got super backed up and we wound up taking some breakfast to go as lunch for a departing flight.

Kinda long even though the dining area still has plenty of empty tables. Maybe we were on the bad days. AC was warm on our side even the tech came to check out while patio has wind breeze and the other side has cold AC. Now, the food, it's not too bad but nothing special. Fried chicken tasted good. Mac & Cheese are using shell pasta. instead of macaroni pasta. For the price, we could find better food. Parking is gated or Valet. About $8/hour on the gated side. Free when you purchased the food.

We went on a Sunday, so we were lucky to find free street parking. I was surprised that on the other side of the street, it was only free for one hour on a Sunday!! There's a valet if you want to pay. We got there before 10 am and there was a line already. Once we got inside, I definitely noticed the decor and how tasteful this place was. Definitely old school with the leather seats. There were eight of us, so they had to put two tables together. We all got a mimosa. After two, I couldn't drink anymore. The dining area which contained all the food was nicely done. The food all looked good and displayed nicely. There were plenty of salads to choose from, different types of meat (chicken, sausage, ...), LOVED the cheese bread. The Omelette station was GREAT. I LOVED my omelette. The only thing that I would recommend is salsa. The dessert section was good, but I was SO FULL, I couldn't enjoy it very much. I LOVE churro, but I didn't like theirs because it had a filling. The chocolate cookie was pretty good. There's also fruit if you want something healthy. Our dirty plates got taken away fairly quickly. Our mimosa glasses were also filled quickly. I LOVED my coffee which was perfect with my desserts. My only complaint was that the gal taking pics didn't even approach our table!! What's with that?!?!

My family and I had made dinner reservations at the Smokehouse for a party of 10 following my…read morestepdaughter's high school ceremony. As we arrived, I was the first to check in with the hostess. My stepdaughter arrived last, bringing her girlfriend along, which added an extra guest to our party. In every restaurant I've ever been to, I've always been able to squeeze in an extra person. However, when they learned it was my daughter's girlfriend, they were adamant that there was no way they could accommodate an extra guest, even if they wanted to. This created a crisis for us as a party of 11 with dinner reservations for 10, three valeted vehicles, and no flexibility on their part. I decided to give up my seat so my stepdaughter could have her girlfriend there, opting to eat elsewhere alone. My father-in-law, who had flown in from out of town for this special occasion, didn't want me to eat alone, so he insisted on joining me. Now, our party had reduced to nine people, including other extended family members who had flown in for this moment. Upon being seated at a different steakhouse and ordering my food, my wife texted me to inform me that our party had been seated at a table for 12. The rest of our party was extremely upset because this was never communicated to us beforehand. They had been unwaveringly stating that there was no possible way they could seat an 11th person, so we decided not to fight it out. Instead, we figured out other arrangements. Things happen, and we knew we had brought in a curveball. They said "no," and that's their right to do. It's unfortunate, but we accepted our fate. The entire experience at The Smokehouse was a complete disaster, and their management that night was utterly unsympathetic to our inability to communicate effectively. As a result, my stepdaughter's graduation night dinner was ruined, as she put it. Perhaps the table for 12 was simply a lucky draw in their rotation, or maybe they were trying to surprise and delight a party they had already dismissed as impossible, like we would have stuck around after that. Regardless, we were told "no," and we accepted that bringing an extra guest was too much to ask. We were left feeling defeated and searching for a plan B. As a Burbank resident who has frequented The Smokehouse numerous times, this trip represents my final one. The party I was attending was the last one they would be hosting, and it was a complete exercise in terrible customer service. Their staff set a negative impression that lesbian couples aren't welcome, which I had to work hard to diffuse. Fortunately, I discovered better options nearby. After leaving The Smokehouse, I had a wonderful dinner and made it back home to relax 90 minutes before the rest of my family's slow dinner service was finished. The moral of the story is this: if The Smokehouse says "there is no possible way," stick around and fight it out. Apparently, they'll accommodate after creating panic, disappointment, and defeat. Don't let them ruin your party.
