Went in as a group before early early early morning. A few staff members did not look that busy. Food came out pretty quickly after ordering. Pay attention to the signage on the windows as that is the sale items and I suggest that as the pricing on the sale items are at least 25% lower than the menu prices. Breakfast was OK eggs bacon, sausage biscuits, etc., as your typical breakfast fair.

My daughter enjoyed her chocolate chip pancakes with hot cocoa

Servers were great. Food was perfect. Highly recommend. my daughter enjoyed her pancakes.

Needed a quick bite and ended up picking Denny's. This location was quite clean, service was quick and friendly. Moons Over My Hammy -we added jalapenos, not much of a kick but added a bit of tang to cut the heaviness. Cinnamon Roll Pancake Slam -drizzled icing was a little too sweet for my liking. I would order this again but ask for icing on the side. Overall a solid pancake, flavorful.

I live in Chino and drive to Chino hills Dennys because it's worth the drive and we enjoy it. We normally go to the Chino one, but we've had very bed experiences in the Chino location. We decided we're digging Dennys and found the one in Chino hills about 10 minute drive. We got there and we're greeded and sat down right away. Food quantities were great and the service was fast and friendly! We have two babies that join us which is a bit tough when going out to restaurants. I requested a high chair and a booth kinda far on the edge as the babies could be loud. They accommodated. We were happy. We decided to go again a few weeks later and the service and food were just as good as the first time. If you're looking for a friendly Dennys with good quality food, come to this one in Chino hills, and skip the Chino location.

So I ended up at Denny's tonight and Fernando was the host that helped. He was super nice and very helpful, the place looked clean and inviting inside as well! Will be back to this location in the future!

I've been coming to this Denny's since the location off Grand in the same city closed a while back. I can admit I don't come here too often because I really only come here for breakfast, and with work most of the week I don't get the chance to. But when I am able to come, the pace is always clean and the service is great and the food is what you can expect from a Denny's. It's familiarity, and it's delicious. The servers are always nice here and you get better service than other locations I've been to.

Great food and the server Brendan was very informative! Will definitely be going back ! 99 cent beers people

Came here today on a whim and had a great experience. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The hostess and all the wait staff were excellent. Very friendly, quick and on top of their jobs. Bachir was my server and he was fantastic. The food was delicious and came out quick and hot. I had the all American slam with an iced cold brew coffee.

But once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It's actually a cute, country-style diner with cozy booths and charming wagon wheel decor that gives it a warm, welcoming vibe. We were immediately greeted by a lovely hostess who also ended up being our waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. We ordered the blueberry pancakes and the eggs Benedict, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, and you can tell they really care about the quality of their food. Overall, such a great experience--we'll definitely be coming back!

Today's breakfast was a Sausage Scramble covered in a creamy country gravy that was oh, so good. Can't complain about the generous portion of great tasting sausage in my scramble. Better yet, there was plenty more to bring home. I could not love the biscuits however. These are not house made, a restaurant supplier failure, IMO. So what is so hard about making a real, flaky biscuit? Glad about the gravy, however. Portuguese Sausage and Eggs. The 1 1/2 sausages were plenty big and were cooked perfectly. Too bad they didn't taste as garlicky and spicy as we remembered. Different brand, I think. So, where can we find a great, spicy Portuguese sausage, I wonder? I love the old style lounge ambiance. They might have reupholstered since last time but they kept the oldies but goodies Lounge "look" I remember. Very nostalgic. And the service was just as outstanding as it always was. Sadly, it's not as convenient for us to visit here as it was 15 years ago. That's only because, after we retired, there was little reason to drive this far. But, I still have my fond memories and my bubble has not burst. We would definitely come back again.

Staff is always nice and knowledgeable. We normally bring our wine and just have it corked there, but last time we were here, we enjoyed their selection as well. We love the interior with all the brick and lowered lighting. Provides a little more intimate of a setting. We actually came on my birthday in April (sorry the review is so late), but the staff all signed a birthday card for me and left confetti on the table. Nice touch. The food. We had the lava shrimp to start and of course the freshly baked loaf. I can't say anything bad. It's all fresh and the flavors are amazing. I got the venison chops cooked rare. Wow. First time I've had venison like this, and man. The presentation was cool. Waiter brought it out covered in glass and opened up the container in front of me so I could see the smoke leave the plate. She got the surf and turf, which is always nice. Steak cooked perfectly, lobster cooked perfectly, potatoes with the brown butter were delicious. Owen's never fails to let us down and we will keep coming back. Kudos to the owner and the chef for doing a bang up

As a visual person, it did hamper the ambiance for me, especially since I was sitting right next to it. We were the only table that wasn't a couple, and even when it got more crowded, the noise level was pleasantly low. Our server asked us how we felt about salt, which was very much appreciated. AMARETTO SOUR: 3/5. Very sweet, and orange-forward which is a new flavor profile for this cocktail for me. BREAD & WHIPPED BUTTER: 5/5. Served warm. The bread was pillowy soft, and the butter, (which was more air than butter and therefore definitely zero calories), was delightfully salty. BRUSSELS SPROUTS: 5/5. I've been burned by so many poorly done sprouts that I don't order them anymore, but my partner wanted to try it and I'm so glad we got them. Zero bitterness, and crispier than an newly minted dollar bill. OCTOPUS: 5/5. Grilled to perfection, soft, not rubbery. The spices in the romesco sauce were aromatic and punchy. STEAK TARTARE: 4/5. Good. These crostinis were the most crostinis to have ever crostinied. The perfect vessel for the rich steak. MUSHROOM SOUP: 5/5. This is the first time I've found balance between being truffle-forward without being overbearing. Usually I'm done after about two spoonfuls, but all 3 bowls (shared between 6 of us) were cleaned. SURF & TURF: 5/5. Owen's checks internal and external temperature, which means steak is cooked true to the way it's ordered. More impressive is that they didn't overcook the lobster. A moment for the gorgeous blue plates; they are heirlooms, and only 7 of them exist in the world. CHILEAN SEA BASS: 4/5. For me, the radish did a lot of heavy lifting in balancing out the saltiness of the soy vinaigrette and richness of the fish itself. STEAK FRITES: 4/5. Again, perfectly cooked steak. I only had one fry, and I thought it was a damn good fry, but my partner did say it eventually got salty. And he loves his salt. CAMPING TRIP: 5/5. The crust on the salmon, the theatrics of the hot rock, the fresh veggies. It's a classic for a reason. MAITAKE MUSHROOM: 4/5. While it was good, I didn't find myself continuously reaching for more, as I nearly always do with mushrooms. ROBUCHON POTATOES: 5/5. AKA indulgent, buttery velvet. A labor of love well received. STRAWBERRY TART: 5/5. While the strawberries were phenomenal, the vanilla (?) custard was a little heavy for me. My mom inhaled it though. CRÈME BRÛLÉE: 5/5. So good. I don't know when it became normalized to serve crème with an Ozempic-thin layer of brûlée, but thank you Owen's for not doing that.

Service was okay, although the cashier seemed to be going through the motions and wasn't particularly engaging. The restaurant appeared clean at first glance, but I did notice a few food safety practices that I think are worth bringing to management's attention. While handling ready-to-eat (RTE) food, employees should change their gloves and wash their hands whenever they leave the food preparation area or touch items that could contaminate their gloves. During my visit, I observed one of the cooks, an older gentleman, step away from the line and use the drink dispenser located in the dining area. Afterward, he returned directly to food preparation while still wearing the same black vinyl gloves. I did not observe him remove his gloves or wash his hands before resuming work. I've included a photo showing the location of the drink dispenser for reference. Later, I noticed a chef from the restaurant across the street stop by and hand food to the same cook. Rather than seeing the food taken to a designated employee area, it appeared to be placed near the cook line. If observed correctly, this could increase the risk of cross-contamination if proper food handling procedures were not followed. On a positive note, I did observe the front-of-house staff washing their hands appropriately as they transitioned between different tasks, which was good to see. Overall, this isn't a bad place to eat, and I enjoyed the food. I simply hope management takes a closer look at these food handling practices, as following proper glove-changing, handwashing, and cross-contamination prevention procedures helps protect both employees and guests.

I have eaten my way through filet mignon, ribeyes that could make you emotional, slow braised short ribs that fall apart if you look at them too hard, and somehow, somehow, this corned beef just walked in, sat down at the head of the table, and said, "We're doing things differently now." The meat? Ridiculous. Tender in a way that makes you question physics. Moist without being greasy. Rich without crossing into that heavy, regret filled territory. Every bite felt like it had been engineered by someone who understands joy on a molecular level. And then, because apparently that wasn't enough, you get the balance. The sauerkraut cuts through with just the right tang. The Russian dressing slides in with this creamy, slightly sweet acidity that ties everything together like it has a degree in culinary diplomacy. Nothing fights. Nothing overwhelms. It's harmony. It's orchestral. It's borderline inappropriate how good it is. The rye bread? Let's talk about it. Toasty, flavorful, structurally sound, which matters, because this sandwich has presence. It doesn't just hold the sandwich, it participates. It shows up. It contributes. Now let me save you from making the same mistake I did: Do not order the fries. Listen, the curly fries are great. I'm not here to slander them. But pairing them with this sandwich is like trying to follow a standing ovation with a fireworks show indoors. It's too much. This sandwich is already peak decadence. Add fries, and you've crossed into excess that your soul, and your digestive system, will have a meeting about later. Next time, I am getting fruit. Something light. Something that respects what just happened on that plate. Final verdict: This isn't just a sandwich. It's an event. A commitment. A decision you don't make casually. And yes, I will absolutely be ordering it again.
