I went to Dennys this morning for a little brunch with my boyfriend & my service dog. I have invisible disabilities and require a task trained medical alert service dog for my safety. I was welcomed & seated with no problem. 10 minutes into our meal, a waitress (young, middle eastern skinny tall woman with dark brown ponytail) who was waiting on the table right next to us, who was clearly a regular based on how their very long interaction went. At some point in their conversation, the man sitting at the table next to us mentions to the waitress that he sees some people who aren't regulars. The waitress then mentions there is a service dog in the restaurant and proceeded to say horrible things about service dogs and then made comments about how my service dog is just a pet and probably not even a legitimate service dog & that they just have to deal with me. Her and the male patron continued bashing service dogs in general, and me and my service dog, for about 5 minutes. Making comments about how her mom won't even dine in an establishment any service dogs are present cause it's disgusting. The reason she said all of this right infront of me, was because my service dog is so well trained and doing her job, she was asleep under the table and she didn't realize how close we were to her. She looked around before saying everything she did but she didn't realize it was us. Service dogs are trained to be out of the way. I was so upset I stopped eating and asked for a box so we could leave. In my 5 years of being accompanied by a service dog I've never experienced something like this. I'm heartbroken. read more

It was a full house and still I received the BEST service fit for a queen ! My server's name was Bunnie!! She absolutely made my dining experience exceptional! What she didn't know was that I wasn't feeling that great, exhausted, and mentally drained! Her positivity, smile, patience, and quick responsiveness to my needs definitely has picked up my spirits! On a random Saturday evening I had a extreme craving for breakfast and when is breakfast for dinner ever a bad idea?! Yelp sent me to this location and for convenience's sake, I placed a phone order for pickup. I ordered the Grand Slam with side orders of bacon and pumpkin pancakes! Wait time was about 20 minutes, but the service was extremely friendly. The cashier forgot to add the pancakes into the bag so she chased me outside. This is the kind of customer service we need in the world! The interior is really clean and this location didn't seem too busy for the time I visited. I would say this Denny's is nicer than the other ones I've been to so that's a huge plus. The restaurant seemed empty because of how much seating there was available! Once I brought home the food, it was devoured in about 10 minutes (I was famished) and the only complaint I had was there was not enough! Everything was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes for the price is a great bargain. Chances are I will be at this location very soon... Breakfast for dinner is heavenly! read more

We walked in, and who I will assume was the manager sat me and my family right away, and our waitress who I forgot her name was the best and nicest person ever. She greeted us right away. Came here after going elsewhere and that place was over a hour wait. This Dennys was packed as well but only a 15 min wait. Not a lot of room to sit anywhere while waiting but it was either the owner or a manager in very nice attire who came to me and apologized for the wait. We had only waited about five minutes so far so I explained to him that we were not upset and thank you for the update. We sat down and within less then ten seconds (no lie) our drink order was taken. Food order soon as drinks were delivered. Food came quickly. Nature called but as I was in there I noticed that the floors here are very clean. Bathroom was very clean. Water was extremely hot which is very important in a public place for sanitation... gentlemen please wash your hands. 90% of you always walk out without even washing your hands. Hahaha. We had a very good breakfast here on December 18th, 2021. Our waitress, wish I remembered her name, she was so attentive, fast and friendly. Our three breakfasts came out very timely and the diner was very busy, and the dishes were delicious, YES, delicious. Fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries on the pancakes was a wonderful surprise. The other traditional breakfast's were also very fresh, hot and GOOD. This seemed to be a local favorite spot. Man this place sucks! The service was horrible, the food was nasty! It wasn't even packed and the waitress couldn't get our order right, must have been those lambchop looking lashes that prevented her from seeing what she was writing down. She kept getting our order wrong, food came out super late considering there was only 3 other people in the restaurant. We weren't offered refills ot even once, she could even get a hot cup of coffee right. The food was all burnt and mind you these were just pancakes! We were deceived by the decent looking rating but this will be the 1st and last time we come here. They don't offer the children's eat free, so just keep that in mind also if you have little ones. read more

Oh Denny's...your glowing neon sign is a beacon of hope to anybody craving a midnight snack (or meal)...especially if you live in Chino Hills. Here we only have Jbox, Mcdonalds and...you, that is, if you want to eat anything past 2 AM (In and out closes by 2) :( All the Denny's taste pretty consistent to me. Whether that's consistently good or consistently bad is up to your taste buds, but to me it's always been consistently decent. If it were normal hours, I'd never choose to go here, but for a late night option their vast selection and cheap prices do the trick. Price: very cheap, especially their $2, $4, $6, $8 menu. There are some decent selections on there too! Food: Their breakfast stuff is ok. The bacon tastes like crap so don't order that (you'll thank me), their hash browns are ok, and pancakes are pancakes, can't really mess that up. The skillet stuff tastes better, and their nachos are very good! Drinks: hmm very pricey juice, is that where you make up your costs Denny's, huh?? :) Their coffee drinks are ok, get the flavored cappuccino! Service: That differs from different locations and how busy it is, but the service at this particular one has been pretty good Overall: 3 stars Denny's, you deserved it. You have a mediocre menu but the day your smart CEO decided to have you open 24 hours, 365 days a year has made you super convenient to all of us hungry people during the wee hours.
