Mexican Breakfast and lunch, AND authentic Chinese fare! It was pretty early, so breakfast was the only thing on my mind. The prices were unbelievably valuable! And their attention to detail was SPOT on! I mean, every single thing I asked for was perfection. Eggs scrambled soft. Bacon crisp. Potatoes well done. I have quite literally paid more than twice as much for food that I have been only 10% satisfied with. No complaints on quality. The tough part was the portion size. For the price, it felt really small and left us both wishing there was more on the plate. We got a spot in the park right next to the hotel, which had a ramp connecting up to the patio of the restaurant. They do offer valet or you can find street parking in the neighborhoods nearby. I can say that later in the day, parking is significantly harder. The restaurant itself was clean. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Patio had plenty of seats with a great view. Service was decent. Our waitress was nice but we had to ask numerous times for my Uncle's Orange Juice. And there were periods of time where we felt like she had just disappeared. Food was okay. I had the chilaquiles and to me, I thought it was a little too spicy. I've had chilaquiles before and they haven't been that spicy. Portion size though was pretty good. My boyfriend had the crispy chicken and pancakes and we liked that one better. It had a good kick to it and the crispness was pretty good even with syrup on it. I see this place having a lot of potential. I've heard the other locations had pretty good reviews so I don't see why this place can't. I definitely do think they have room to grow. I'm not against coming back, but I don't actively see myself saying "Hey let's go to Toasted for Brunch!"

Even though I thought the food was solid, I was truly impressed by the service. The person behind the counter was so busy but he took the time to explain the menu to me and was extremely friendly. He also didn't try to rush us or kick us out after the diner closed (we ordered pretty close to closing time). I noticed that he even took orders from people who came slightly after closing too. Other great things: easy parking and awesome looking decor. Come if you want to experience a meal in a diner setting.
