The worst service ever. The waitresses were more worried about counting their tips than they were servicing paying customers their food. They threw the to go boxes in bags, opening a few of the boxes spilling the contents everywhere. Never again nor would I recommend this location. This Denny's lived up to it's reputation. It is located in a truck stop and when we were there it had very few customers. The service was good (Brittany) but the food was sub par even for a Denny's. We did get 10% off because we were spending the night at a Best Western. read more

We had the worst service ever!!!!! Only nine tables seated. Took 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Sausage was raw, no deduction from check. 25 minutes to get food. I always tip big as a past waitress and left nothing. Manager was no help. They have sign as you enter that says, Pleasure to seat you". What a joke! Went in to this restaurant with a party of 9 people after a night at the casino. Got inside and the service was a little slow but when the waitress got to our table she informed us that she was the only one there working and that she would take a while to cook our food but she would get it done asap. After she had told us that we decided to leave because this poor woman was under staffed. What kind of restaurant manager schedules one person to run an entire restaurant ie (waiting tables, cooking, & cleaning) and as my party was leaving there was a ton of people walking in. This restaurant ruined my birthday on Christmas. They ruined my family's traditions about getting dinner. They had the worst service, they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. Then they let other people in and then told us 30 minutes later, it was going to be a hour wait. So it was like they were trying to get us to leave. read more

My family of 4 were on a road trip and decided to stop @ the Denny's attached to a Love's truck stop. We thought we would at least encounter a hot breakfast. Not only was the service terrible but it took a long time for our order to come to our table and then all of our food did not arrive at the same time. The food was greasy, bacon burnt and side orders not brought over with meal. We left with upset stomachs and a big bill.......will never dine there again. read more

It's Denny's so you know what they have to offer. When it first opened it was good, but it has gone downhill so much since then. My family has gotten sick twice from here and the last time we went my mother had a hair in her nachos. They offered her a coupon for a free nachos and took the nachos off her bill, but that is just the last straw that broke the camels back. So disappointed, I guess we will have to go to Chico if we want Denny's from now on. read more

Steak was extremely cold and seemed like it was microwaved. It was disgusting and I will never be back, it is in the middle of no where. Just stopped by because I'm in the way to seattle. I was looking forward to a warm meal after spending a few hours on the road and was unfortunately disappointed by this particular location. The hostess appeared uninterested in any pleasantries, which was off-putting. I understand the monotony and occasional soul-sucking nature of guest services for some. Rude guests can be upsetting. However, smiling and simply being kind when I addressed her didn't appear to make an impression. This is just a job to her. Screw me for trying, I suppose. She helped my boyfriend and I to our booth and departed swiftly. Then we were left there for 15 minutes without contact from anyone else. There were people scattered throughout the restaurant, about 9 other tables taken. We looked around to see if we could get anyone's attention, but it felt as though we didn't exist. This became agitating and I lost my appetite. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. I informed the hostess we were going to go somewhere else as we walked by and she smiled and nodded, not concerned in the least about why. Denny's restaurants are usually a safe haven for me where people greet each other and at the very least show some regard for one another. This was not one of those locations. place is really good and i usually have good things to say but not today. i ordered online and went o pick it up and when i got home i saw things were missing, ii know i shouldve checked when i was there but they shouldve given me everything i ordered. the things i did get were not well served nor topped with butter.. i recommend but they should be consistent with their service read more

Travelers beware! I know this will fall upon dead ears. This use to be a decent Denny's but no more! My son loves the chocolate chip pancakes but he will not be eating them at the Corning location. We have waited for more then 90 minutes to receive our food in a half empty restaurant and gave them another chance but I was given poor service again. So he tonight we gave them a chance. We went at 8:50 PM , thought we would have a chance to get decent service. We were seated by a nice hostess. I said glad to see it's not to busy and she said we have a lot of milk shake orders and they take a long time. I responded "and". Told my wife she was prepping us for bad service. Yep! Sat for over ten minutes in a restaurant that had about 15 customers all looked to be eating or served. No stop by, nothing at all. We got up and left without being noticed. We are done. Denny's in Corning, California. Absolutely worst service ever, ever, ever! We ordered 2 milk shakes and she brought them without spoons. When I asked for spoons, she forgot, so later I asked again. Shortly someone brought 2 ice teas instead of ice tea spoons. She didn't bring any silverware or water so, we had to get silverware from a different table. They were wrapped in napkins but they were not clean. They looked like it had soap residue. I ordered an vegetarian omelette and pointed it out to the waitress on the menu. My daughter & husband ordered nachos to share. When the nachos came it was a plate of chips with a can of chili poured over it & a couple shards of cheese. My omelette was not vegetarian. It had meat. I let her know it was wrong and she told me I had ordered it wrong. When we asked for water and a refill on my husband's drink, she just never came back to the table. As we were leaving she apologized for forgetting the water. Wow, should have gone to the Iron Skillet across the street. read more

Why didn't we read the reviews first??? Don't bother stopping here. Service was slow - we were. It offered coffee or water before taking our food order. Not busy, seems lazy. Coffee was cold and old. One of our coffee mugs was dirty. Out of food on menu. We asked for toast - bread was served. Asked for toast again and it came back as our breakfast was about done. Red potatoes were so over cooked they were hard crispy chunks of oil. Terrible. Oh, then the dirty bathrooms. Terrible stop. read more

I used to not go to this Denny's due to the slow service, being forgotten a couple times, and the average wait time on food used to be about and hour +. Well today I decided to give it another shot and I am glad I did! My server Marybel was fantastic and fast. The place was packed for breakfast/Lunch (about 11am) and she never forgot one thing. My 2 year old daughter was with me too and she even spoke to her haha! Marybel has made me change my opinion about this place now and we will definitely be coming back here. Thank you!!!!! read more
