The meat was fantastic. The Philly Cheesesteak was really hot when it was brought over. The onions and peppers were not undercooked. The meat was a bit bland unfortunately. - maybe if the meat was cooked with the vegetables. They seem to still have some issues with working out their service. We saw 3 tables occupied and the bar had a good crowd. Locals even moved to allow us two seats. Other than that let me just say not a good experience. Let's go by the numbers: 1. Service. We sat at the bar and our bartender, a young lady was obviously new and had little resto experience. We had to prompt her to sanitize the bar. We had drinks and then ordered. We shared a wedge salad and a beef delmonico. Because the bartender did not know how to stage the meal, all were delivered at the same time. We had them take the steak back to be delivered when we had enjoyed the salad. Still on service. The other bartender a young man, obviously more experienced, was frustrated, probably because he was having to cover for the inexperienced young lady. He and his manger ( a lady in a green blouse.) exchanged words about his frustration and that he was closing tonight. Customers should never observe this. The final straw regarding service was us observing the manager, the lady in the green blouse pouring herself a cocktail behind the bar and drinking it. 2. Food. Blue cheese dressing was not as good as past visits at other locations. The Delmonico was overdone as they sat it under a lamp while we had our salads. The steak itself tasted livery. Our sides were broccoli and carrots. The carrots were mostly tasteless. 3 Ambiance. There were many drinkers at the bar dropping curse words. The male bartender did make an effort to correct this. Overall. This Ted's is not up to par with others. On this night the fry cook was the business person in the kitchen making fries and onion rings to go with the burgers being ordered. We have no problem with burgers but this is a mid to high priced steakhouse and our experience was more like a diner.

The eggs were perfectly cooked, the ham slice was thick, the grits had a nice consistency and were tasty, and the wheat toast was nicely toasted and buttered. Yes, it was crowded and a little noisy, but this was a better-executed breakfast than I've had at much pricier restaurants. I'd happily return to this location when in need of a big breakfast.
