I am appalled. I ordered from this dennys through the door dash app. I ordered a beyond burger with a second patty, among other items. Not only did I not get my second patty, but they gave me a beef patty, rather than a beyond patty. This is just not ok. read more

My experience at this Denny's has been hit and miss over the years. Sometimes they are spot on and you get your meal very quickly and there are no mistakes. Other times they mess up your order, give you the wrong bill or make you wait longer than necessary. Those examples I mean just don't happen in an isolated way. When the service is bad, multiple mistakes like this occur. I could go on how much of Fort Collins seems to function this way but that rant would only be redundant. You have heard all of this before from me. They only thing that draws me back to Denny's on occasion is that Deluxe Chicken Salad and all in all the experience is usually worth it. read more

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST EVER. One, the food was disgusting. (The restrooms are worse.) Two, the vulgarity that was being played over the speakers was insane. Never again! Waste of money! didn't put in the sauces but chicken tenders were so hard & chewy they went in the trash. Some genius put a hot dish in bag & the apple crisp w/ice cream right on top. So it was soup, plus they didn't close the container well at all so melted ice cream was all over everything in the bag. They put the cheesecake in w/the hot dish too & the whip cream melted. The "moons over my hammy" wasn't made right. The bread wasn't toasted- just plain dry bread & it's supposed to have Swiss & cheddar but all it had was a slice of American cheese. It was awful & went in the trash. Maybe 1/2 of what we got was edible. I knew Dennys wasn't a 5 star restaurant but they've really gone down hill! read more

EXCELLENT customer service...walked in..Sarah, our server seated us and took our order immediately! Food came out quickly.. Moons over Mihammy for my husband was excellent..hash browns not too warm, but he didn't say anything because it wasn't important to him. If I could give zero stars I would. Came in on our trip back to Denver from Cheyenne, ordered a sirloin dinner, grand slam, and strawberry pancake puppies. Pancake puppies came out burnt, steak came out over cooked and looked like it had been cut in half. (Not a full 8oz.) I asked the waiter to swap the steak for the T-bone hoping it would be better. My steak sat on the bar for 20 mins while the staff was horseplaying and paying attention to their phones. Finally we had to get up and ask for it. Then upon eating it, it was way over cooked and barely edible. Now I am currently sitting here waiting on the tab, and it's been 30 mins just for that. I asked to make sure we had a good wait staff when I came in and we received terrible service with cold coffee. We ordered also some blueberry hushpuppies and asked for it to be delivered with our food,It never came. So we went ahead and canceled it since we were done eating already! This is probably one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant, period. We were looking to get something to eat late (2am) without having to hit the usual places (Johnson's Corner, Perkins). When we arrived, we stood from 7 minutes in the front area waiting to be seated (timed it on my phone). Finally a waitress comes over and says "What, you want a seat?" in a kind of hostile way... She seats us at a booth and leaves without asking about drinks. First thing I notice is how sticky and disgusting our table is. It looked like something you'd see in a bad horror movie. She comes back about 5 minutes later and asks us about our drinks in a "I'd rather be elsewhere" manner (not even facing us, hands on hips, foot tapping). We tell her just water, then she asks what we want to eat. The girlfriend orders a burger but asks to sub a small salad instead of fries, the waitress doesn't ask what kind of dressing she wants. Another 10 minutes goes by and the cook sets our order up on the rack, while the waitress is sweeping the carpet and talking to someone in the back. As I sit staring at our food get cold, 6 minutes goes by (once again timed with the handy dandy phone). Finally, she brings us our food and plops it down. Girlfriend has an odd look on her face, I realize the salad substitution was a no-go. I point it out and the waitress got real snotty "Well! Do you still want the salad, I'll make you a salad!". She seemed like she might hock in it so we declined the offer to correct it. Getting the check took another 10 minutes after we finished, and when we finally rang up at the register, I said "Have a good night" just trying to stay positive, she just walked away. Ever going back? HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. no. Recommend, never. Could care less if it burns to the ground, pretty much. read more

This place seems to be a popular late night stop to grab something to eat. Service was pretty good but somewhat slow. They were somewhat full and it was a Friday night. They were also having computer problems so a few orders didn't go through till they were hand written tickets. That backed up everyone's orders. The food was good. I had the Santa Fe Skillet and it tasted great. My dad had the chicken bacon burger, he loved it (he kinda loves anything with bacon, lol). Tip: Sub for seasoned fries. This is the ideal Denny's. Every Denny's should be like this one. I ate dinner here on the way back to California from a trip to the Midwest in late August of this year. We stayed at the nearby La Quinta Inn and ate here on a weeknight at approximately 900pm. The service was prompt. There was a steady flow of customers. As opposed to other Denny's I have been to recently the staff and waitresses were very organized. We had an older waitress who was very quick about taking orders and attending to us and the other customers. She seemed to be "quarterbacking" the rest of the staff and younger waitresses. She was a little older but very sharp and experienced and it showed. I had the Brooklyn Spaghetti. The portions were much larger than the comparable dish back home (see Santa Rosa). Plenty of water and beverages as well for a hot summer evening on the Front Range. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The ambience just seemed welcoming. Very comfy for a restaurant on a busy frontage road in the middle of motels. The staff went a long way in making a weary traveller feel welcome. We even met someone from back home there as well. I wish I could give this place negative stars. Worst dining experience I have ever had. We waited 15 minutes at the table just to get our waters. Then another 10 just to get our order taken. No one provided us with silverware so after we received our food we had to wait another 5 minutes to be able to eat our food thus causing our food to cool off to luke warm. It appears no one knows how to run a restaurant and keep guests satisfied. I will NEVER be returning and I am very disappointed that I wasted an hour and a half for simple breakfast food. This place is disgusting!!! The service and management is disgraceful,horrifying and down right scum. We travel a lot and Denny's is a continental go to. BUT last night my husband and child got in to our hotel and hungry, we go for a bite to eat. We ordered 2 salads, a kids nugget meal. The nugget meal comes with a side and salads a bread. My husband comes back with wilted, spoiled, sour lettuce, a salad with no toppings and cold chicken. We were told the food would be ready in 10 minutes but my husband stood and waited for 20. My sons nuggets were not served with his side of grapes nor did we we get dinner bread and the toppings. I called and explained the problems and the assistant manager asked to rectify the situation wit replacement but after driving 8 hours, we wanted to go to bed hungry I just went back for a refund and with photos, the manager said it is a franchise, no gift card and no money back with out the food. Mind you this is 21 hours later and I didn't bring in my trash. I was offered a replacement but considering NO ONE was sitting there at 5:30pm for dinner, I left and want to warn others the disgust this place is with customer service and product. read more

We got seated, and all but one of us got the drinks we ordered because the waiter completely skipped over my fiancé. After all of us finally had our drinks it took about 15 minutes to get straws. (Yes, that's a minor issue). After ordering our food, it took 20 minutes for ONLY 4 of the 9 people to get their food. We waited another 15 minutes before we asked the waiter where the rest of the food was. They frantically brought out food that none of us had ordered and tried to give us all the wrong stuff. The "Manager" looked at us like he didn't understand why we were getting mad and never once said anything in an apologetic manner. Because of none of the orders being correct, we got up and left. This was the first and only experience I will EVER have with Denny's. read more

I mean it's Denny's, but the food was good. Service was a bit slow and there were at least three employees standing around talking. There were more tables that needed to be bussed when we got there than had people sat, and there were some of them that were needing to be bussed still when we left. I told our waitress that I'd give them 20 minutes of my time with a bus tub to bus and clean tables. She said they don't have a bus tub. The floor was dirty, almost nobody was wearing a nametag, so I can't actually name the people who were lounging around instead of working. If it wasn't for the "host" wearing a Denny's shirt, I'd have thought he was a customer just standing around. Employees were having personal conversations while we were trying to pay. I don't know if they have a new owner or manager, but of the employees I saw today, maybe three of them were worth their pay. read more

Excellent service! Our server Heather was proficient and had great energy! She frequently checked on us despite being busy. Food was good served hot. He was very accommodating to a few order variations and made sure to rush out our little one's order out as we were eating a little later than planned and he was starting to get fussy. Its Denny's and a good one. Dennys is the place to go of you want breakfast in an unfamiliar town with not many choices around and a hungry family. All 3 of us got eggs, toast and some pancakes. I got the grits too, all were just fine. As I'm sure everyone knows its isn't fine dining, but it was good, fast and hot. The waitress was one of the nicest ones we found on our vacation. Worst dining experience I've ever had. Waited over an hour for our food that never came. Our server, some dude with blonde hair and attitude problem, kept avoiding our table and was surprised when we asked for our check after realizing that the food wasn't coming anytime soon. Said they were taking so long because they ran out of pancake mix and only had 2 cooks working. Dining room was half full and not very busy at all. Tables and bathroom were filthy. Damien is amazing! We came in to celebrate a late night birthday. IHOP was closed so we ubered all the way to waffle house ... Closed! That was fine, Denny's it is and #pumped #moonsovermyhammy ! We just wanted some eggs and pancakes. We sat down and Damien loved us and served us with the most amazing service. All of us work in the service industry and understood what a pain our table could have been. He was so amazing and deserves a raise and a hug. All in all this was an amazing celebration so thanks Denny's! If you come here ask for Damien! *update* Decided to go to Denny's late night for a quick bite, took a cab out here had a great time. Damien still here also still a rockstar. We had a excellent time but found ourselves in a terrible situation where we could no longer get a cab or uber home. Both Damien and Pam were super considerate and so wonderful about making our terrible situation not only ok but sorta funny. That is until shift change happened and the next girl came in. She was super cold to us... Never checked on us, talked negatively about us to other customers like we did not spend money there and it was our intention to be there... It was not I want nothing more then to be in bed right now. I'm sorry you and your man are having troubles but next time please don't take it out on two people stuck in an awful situation. We ended up waiting outside for ten minutes in the cold waiting for our uber just to get away from her making us feel like garbage people. read more

Before Denny's came to Cheyenne, we used to always drive down here. I think I'm going to start again. The service here really was kind of hit or miss, but more often than not the food is good. One night the roads were icy, and we told the manager we drove down from Cheyenne, and he gave us a permanent 10% discount card. Thats well worth us driving to Fort Collins for.
