Overall I would rate this place a -5/10. The waitress was alright but very fast paced and unwelcoming. The dishes were dirty and needed to be replaced. Our steak was dry and tough, causing it to be nearly impossible to cut. The strawberries lemonade was more sour than sweet and you can taste no sign of strawberries. The boneless buffalo wings were more bread than meat and the sauce was salty. I could go on but I feel that would be too much of being a negative Nancy. I just believe they could do better. Edit** There is an unfortunate update. This steak is inedible. It literally hurts my teeth to chew. Requesting a check and leaving now.

The food is always terrific at any Denny's location but we weren't a fan of the service. I think customer service goes a long way and our waitress named Bianca didn't have a great attitude at all. I just scrolled down and saw someone else posting about the rudeness of this waitress Bianca. It's crazy how she hasn't been fired yet. Her customer service was extremely unpleasant. When she seated us and took our order she was not pleasant at all. Paying customer's want to be treated well, even with her horrible attitude we were still decent and left her a tip.

Great food, friendly & helpful service, and a very clean restaurant and bathroom. I've been here three times in the last month and all three times the food was delicious with generous portions. I'm lucky to have this Denny's a few minutes from work. Perfect place to stop in for lunch. Will be back again

First time in a Dennys in years. It reminds me of going for breakfast back in 1970's when I could eat a grand slam breakfast and not worry about my diet. I took my daughter today and she ordered a cheeseburger, fries and an Oreo shake. I ordered a garden salad. Our waiter is nice. My daughter loved her cheeseburger and shake. Salad was good not great. Overall it was a good experience. No complaints.

One of the better Denny's locations. Like all other Denny's, you get big portions at low prices with many fun comfort food items, particularly for breakfast (which I find myself eating between evening and midnight more often now, thanks to Denny's). What makes this location stand out is how it is overall a bit cleaner than other Denny's. I don't see lots of random crumbs or spilled syrup on tables or chairs. Service seems to be a bit faster and friendlier than other local Denny's I've eaten at. As a result, the food temperature is better when it arrives at my table. As usual, the pancakes here are one of the big standout items -- with the perfect amount of fluffiness and chewiness. The hash browns are always crispy and savory, with just the right amount of firmness. Make sure you try the strawberry pancake puppies if you get a chance, the perfect cousin of the traditional hush puppy. Overall, good Dennys to grab a bite if you're in the area and are craving familiar flavors or a late night breakfast.

We are so disappointed first of all took too long to get out food, food was horrible! Crepes were hard, hash browns butned.

Shout out to: Rachel, Joshua, and Claribel for such good service! The three people I mentioned above made my experience a nice one especially at the crack of dawn. I was in Schaumburg for business and I don't always want eggs for breakfast, I really wanted a burger & that's what I was there for. The burger was pretty epic but it was my conversations that I really enjoyed. The over all look and feel of the restaurant has a bit of a throwback charm to it reflecting the days of true diners. Even the color scheme and ambience was inviting. Enjoy! :)

Good food. Great service. Can be very cold in the summer. Moons Over Myhammy is still my favorite!

We came here for breakfast and the eggs were greasy. IHOP has better food on Higgins and Barrington Road. We won't be back.

Their sirloin steak is the best! I've had New York strip steaks that were not as good as this. If I want steak I definitely go to Denny's.

However, I'd join when you are 10 minutes away as sometimes the line goes quick and you get passed. After we are called for our seats, we wait in a small line as they prep the table. After we were seated, the staff quickly gave us water as we looked over the menu. I was not in the mood for a fancy breakfast so I went traditional, Two Eggs over medium, veggie patties (homemade), hash browns and pancakes with decaffeinated coffee with honey. The food came in a nice time, not too long and not too quick- enough to have a nice conversation while waiting. When the food came, everything was cooked to perfection. The eggs over medium, the hash browns were cooked and had that bit of crunch from the skillet. Pancakes were a nice size. And the veggie patties were tasty! The coffee with just honey hit the spot. It appears everyone else really liked their food as it was pretty quiet. Lol. I enjoy this place especially bringing family and friends from out of town. Good times and great memories.

Gave this place 5-stars and my husband loves American Breakfast ( why does the USA service only "Breakfast Sandwiches" and potatoes and waffles and French Toast) No vegan options and I brought my own vegan butter Any cheap old breakfast diner is able to assemble a mediocre Bacon, Egg and Cheese especially my loathed toasted muffin plain (I am not anti-bread - even McDonald's overpriced breakfast Based on Dan H's recommendations, my husband ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich and he was very unimpressed he likes his breakfast sandwiches on croissants, which they do not offer I was stuck with a raw-toasted English muffin so my vegan butter (Earth Balance) went to waste and I hate wasting food So the raw English muffin (the server never came back to check how our food was) was torn up into little pieces for the night raccoons Not up to par on food, service and the ambience was only okay Neither my hisband or I would ever return The prices were ridiculously high for bad food and service was non-existent. Chappie's was a random pick for us to go have brunch at while we were in the Palatine area. Chappie's had been on my list of brunch restaurants to check out. When we got to the restaurant it was peak lunch time and the restaurant was almost 3/4 full. We got seated promptly. We took our time to look at their menu and decide as they had a good menu variety. We ordered drinks in the meantime. I got a regular coffee and a Chappieccino (cappuccino w/ Chappie's face, Chappie being their family dog, a Corgie). We ordered a Bacado Omelet w/ a side of pumpkin spice pancakes instead of regular pancakes and hashbrowns, a Huevos Rancheros, and a special of 2 Eggs x 2 Pancakes x 2 Sausage links (instead of bacon). I had the Bacado Omelet which had bacon, avocado, scallions, cheese, and I asked for chopped jalapeños which did not have an up charge. The omelet was good. I liked the way it was cooked. The hash browns were cooked to perfection. They were exactly the way I like them, crispy and soft. They also have me a fried green chili pepper (Chile Toreado) on the side which added a nice spicy taste. The specialty pumpkin spice pancakes with pumpkin puree whipped cream was really delicious. I loved its taste. The Huevos Rancheros was the best dish at the table. It was perfectly cooked with two fried corn tortillas, eggs over easy, fried beans, red salsa, and cheese. It tasted great. I liked it more than my dish. The special of 2 Eggs x 2 Pancakes x 2 sausage links was tasty as well. We had a good experience and would go back. Definitely recommended. Check it out.
