I haven't been here in a long long time. This is usually not a place I would've picked because in the past I have had a horrible experience here multiple times. Today's visit I forgot to take some photos. I just wanted to say how awesome the staff was. Our waiters name was Donovan, he was taking care of the whole section and let me say, the service was great! He made his rounds to every table and made sure everyone was good. When I say this man did great, he really did. You can tell he takes pride in his job and I appreciate that. The food came out very quickly as well, thank you to the kitchen staff for getting the food out quickly and it being delicious and still warm! Overall, due to the staff and the cleanliness, we definitely will be coming back more frequently. The price was also great, so much cheaper compared to IHOP and the food is still tasty. We also paid with our phone, which was awesome because no need to wait around waiting to pay. read more

The host and waitress was nice, place was clean. Waited over an hour for our food. Portions were smaller than normal size they use to serve. My burger had some burnt food from an other order. It was black and hard, in my burger, sauté vegetables were over cooked,, and I had 7 pieces of fries. They use to give 4 pieces of toast with the grand slam, now they give one toast and cut it half. Ordered medium well for the steak, it was medium rare. The list can go on and on. The cook drop 3 dishes in a row and it broke. The worker was cleaning the bathroom then he went in the kitchen with his glove on, the one he was using to clean the bathroom. read more

The food was decent, but the hiring manager should really hire more staff. There were only 2 servers for breakfast on a holiday morning. My waitress was really friendly and tried her best, but due to the lack of staff we waited 25 mins to place our drink order then it was another 15 to receive our waters. Also it's always freezing cold. Breakfast should provide a warm greeting and comfortable environment with hot coffee flowing. Here I couldn't wait to get breakfast over with. Maybe that's what they want idk. I like the new upgrades interior wise, but let's get some more staff to make it better. read more

Big shout out to Denny's in Kapolei. I went in with my niece per her request to dine in, and we were pleasantly greeted by Gavin, who sat us immediately and served us as well. Kitchen was fast getting our food right out to us. Upon leaving, I asked Gavin if I could have a children's to go cup for my little niece and he said no problem. We ordered hamburgers with fries and the fries look like it was cooked in old grease. We asked our waitress and she said they were cooked in old grease and they had to wait until the oil man came to empty their oil. Also the women's bathroom, the toilet was stopped up and the bathroom was very nasty!!! The waitress was polite and professional. She did provide good service. read more

Terrible customer service and manager is even worse! We signed up for the rewards to get the free dessert and when we went to pay they said we could only use 1 reward not 2 even tho no one told us that and the server watched us order two cheesecakes on one bill with ZERO warning. And it wasn't even busy at all on a Saturday night. I tried to order a milkshake they said NO ICECREAM. Ordered a slam-burger NO CHEESE, it came with cheese. I reminded the server she took the burger back and just took the cheese off which was stuck to the egg so half the egg went with it and came back 2 minutes later, I told them to just remove the burger from the bill the way they removed the cheese from the burger. Everything was cold and we didn't get any silverware so I had to go and grab my own from behind the hostess table. This place sucks and they will get your order wrong and not be happy to fix it. Our Server, didn't get her name but she checked on us quite frequently and filled our water's. My wife had initially wanted the Bacon Avocado Burger. However, we was informed that their avocado weren't ripe. No worries! Instead, she opted for the Cheeseburger with bacon and seasoned fries. I ordered the Double Cheeseburger for $2 more along with added mushrooms. I "should've" just ordered the regular size Cheeseburger. This thing was HUGE lol -- Surprisingly, this was "Hands-Down" DA BEST CHEESEBURGER I ever had at ANY OTHER DENNY'S ON ISLAND, "including" the mainland!!! Just even writing this review and my mouth is watering LMAO -- Both Beef patties were WELL-SEASONED and COOKED TO PERFECTION!!!!! That slightly sweet and pillow-soft Brioche bun. AWWW... I close my eyes. Succulent, thick, juicy, not greasy, Nom, Nom, Nom, I stay drooling right now lol - I mean, on the first bite. Came for a late breakfast brunch with my mini. There was a 15-20 minute wait which was fine. I did notice a lot of tables open but not that many servers. We sat and waited for our order to be taken. Took about a quick 5 minutes and our server took our order and brought out or drinks. I ordered the choconana pancake breakfast along with my daughters Anniversary pancakes and side banana. So far I'm liking this location better than others. They give the "deals" menu without asking for it and they give you all the options without starting with... "Right now we are out of..." lol It's morning so this place is pretty quiet filled with older seniors. Had we live closer this would definitely be our go to Dennys. read more

Walking in on a rainy Saturday afternoon we were just expecting a hot cup of coffee and maybe pancakes. The Fountain drinks were not available so we did end up altering our orders with no big dilemma considering the large selection available. It did appear to be short staffed at first sight but this doesn't bother us at all because the service and location is always worth any delay that occurs. You will most likely run into old classmates or family members when dinning and it makes for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Staff was amazing, attentive and pleasant from the manager to the kitchen, the true star of course was our Server Gavin, a true Rockstar. There were order status updates on the wide, check-ins and just a general sense of care and pride with how service was given, regardless of how many booths were filled and how many people arrived, Gavin and the Staff remained upbeat and cheerful nonetheless. Recommend a visit and the sampler was amazing tonight...crunchy onion rings! read more

What a beautiful store it is here at kapolei dennys. I walked in and was greeted with warm hello. They were extremely busy but the young lady greeted us and said I'll be right with you. She came back and took our name and said it will be 15mins wait. But she sat us in 10mins. Our server named Tasha was amazing, funny, and very informative of the dennys menu. We have never tried a salmon dinner with mushrooms onions and spinach before (which she recommended) and it was absolutely delicious. My wife had the stuffed French toast with egg (Tasha recommends onions and avocado in the eggs) my wife absolutely loved it. We had such an amazing experience and we will definitely be coming back. Such a disappointment. The only thing good was our waitress. The food really lacked. I got 4 onion rings but I paid for the up charge from fries. The lettuce in my sandwich was completely wilted my husband's mile high Denver omelette was incredibly lacking. It was made with only American cheese, no cheddar cheese and he had maybe two spoonfuls of hash browns. The cooks and the weight staff were on the side of the restaurant blasting their music. My complaint is simple: I came in for a classic breakfast and left frustrated. I ordered a Slam and a hot cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the server didn't seem to know what was included in the Slam, and the meal arrived in scattered segments instead of all at once. Worse, the coffee was lukewarm--not the hot, fresh cup you expect in the morning. I politely asked for a hot one, but the second cup was also cold. It felt like the server either didn't notice or didn't care that the coffee wasn't fresh. Maybe the burner was off, but that's something the staff should be aware of. When I mentioned it to the cashier, I was told I should have asked them to make a new pot. That response just added to the frustration--shouldn't serving hot coffee be the default, not a special request? In the end, I left and went to the Waikele Starbucks, where I immediately got what I wanted: a fresh, hot cup of coffee served with a smile. Denny's should take note. read more

Really nice people here and their food is actually good. But they advertise as 24hr and are not truly 24hr. So they should update the hours. Went at 2am and was offered salads and fruit cup. Maybe it was a one time thing? Maybe not I don't know. The whole place is very clean though and I do enjoy going here. read more

I love this place. How have I lived here my whole life and not come here to eat? Located near Target and the theater, Dennys has a great local feel to it and very clean. Bathrooms are also clean and sign plaque stating they take cleaning seriously and to report if the bathroom needs cleaning. Kay done with the bathroom... let's talk food lol. Way better deal then Anna Millers (which isn't even 24 hrs), thank you Dennys to satisfy any odd hr cravings haha. I got the short berry dream cakes for 12.99. Let's just say I couldn't finish it all, so much food for a good bargain price. The other items were also reasonably priced. My friend got the all you can eat eggs, pancakes, and hash browns. Also was reasonably priced at about $10. The service is also very good. The waitress was very nice and prompt. Make sure to head on down! Especially if your craving some pancakes at 2 AM! Man, the days of Denny's being somewhat of a bargain are long gone. Options such as an omelette plate run about $17.99. This time, I opted for a burger & opted for onion rings for $.99 extra instead of fries. The server asked if I wanted jalapeños for an extra charge... no thanks. I asked for ranch for the onion rings and that was $1.19 extra... jeez! I should have stuck w/ the fries that come w/ the meal instead of the 5 onion rings for $.99 extra + the $1.19 ranch! I don't mind the up-charge for the onion rings but for ranch? Or for a few jalapeños thrown on the burger if I wanted them? I ordered food on Uber Eats and waited over an hour to receive my food. When I finally got my food everything was cold, I ordered scrambled eggs and my eggs were watery, my chocolate pancakes were burnt, my hash browns were burnt, my crapes didn't have any vanilla cream filling in it and the strawberries were sour.
