Typical Denny's, but in a cool atmosphere. The staff was not friendly or helpful, but the food was good. I came on thanksgiving day late in the evening and I was seated immediately. I got the salted caramel banana pancakes and four buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were definitely good and you can't go wrong with the price. As I was paying, I noticed a Denny's souvenir pancake cup that was only $1.50. The cup made my experience much better. Overall this is one of the best Denny's I have been to so don't be scared to give it a try. read more

Ok. First, I get that it's hard to find employees right now. I also get that this happened on a Wed morning at about 3am...however, with that said... So I walk down to the Dennys downtown..which, let's be honest, the only reason it has any customers at all is because none of the casinos downtown (or even the strip) have 24 hour food anymore...Thank you COVID! Anyway...moving on.. So I walk up to the front door and there is a sign saying "Wait for hostess" with a hostess stand sitting in the doorway. Being the polite customer that I am I wait...all told 5-10 mins and don't see anybody......ok..... So I go inside and see two other couples who clearly have not been helped...patiently waiting and sitting on the seating inside....ok..... having used up my allotment of Dennys patience for the night I start walking around looking for somebody who will pay attention to paying customers...I eventually find a rustic Middle Aged woman who responds with the typical Vegas Diner attitude..:no apology no recognition of how ridiculous this is "Yeah I'll be with you shortly there is no host right now"...but then why didn't they take in the sign demanding people wait for a hostess who will never show up? Ugh....would have just walked out then and probably should have...but it's late, I'm hungry and that's the only place open (thank you once again...COVID)....ok... So I sit...and sit..and sit...and sit...she didn't even get me a drink for fucks sake...I knew I was in trouble when the gentlemen next to me (who's girl got so tired of waiting to get a drink she left him and the damn Dennys to go find one) ordered his whole meal really quick before she walked away....he clearly has been through this tragedy of a restaurant experience before...ok.... So I go find the middle aged woman and see her loading up a tray to serve like four tables at once...after hiding around the kitchen for about 15 mins...one of my giant pet peeves...so I ask her what's up and she responds with that "ya ya ya" kind of attitude and that did it. I mean SHIT just turn it into a quick casual concept I would ordered and picked up the food myself...would have been fewer steps than it took to track down this horrible waitress..and would have been done eating at this point...so I walk out and she says something like "good leave"... Dennys and all restaurants: the people shortage is real but after over two years of this shit your employees aren't the only ones fed up. Pay people well enough to fill your restaurants or CHANGE your concept to where you don't need them to run properly because to run like this is only going to prevent customers from coming back.. read more

The wait time to be seated was a little stretched, then to give your order was a little longer than expected. Waited quite a bit during the whole process, and I'm usually patient as long as I'm sipping on coffee while looking at the menu. No complaints about the food, only the wait due to short staffing. Ordered a doordash delivery. They didnt include 2 items of mine. Not only did they not double check the order before it went out. The driver also didnt check my order. But it starts with the expo doing their job. They also charged me for these items. I was able to get these things refunded but id rather have my food that i ordered. People rely on resturants to do their job and be honest. If you didnt have the items just dont charge people for them. Who ever was in charge of this order you should find a different job that you care about. read more

I haven't been in Denny's on Fremont for months. Well, big mistake. I tried to bring my family in and the night manager Alicia was yelling at customers and had an all around bad attitude. She's representing Denny's. How is this allowed? The blonde haired waitress was also very rude. This location has gone downhill. All the people that were there before are gone, and have been replaced. The security guard acted very strange and smelled bad. I felt very uncomfortable. Perhaps customer service and hygiene classes would be best. read more

We got there at 2am and they were very under staffed. Even thosethere were a few people eating on tables, they told us they were only taking Togo orders. The host Patrick took our order and was nice. He had to deal with several other guests all by himself who were crazy and intoxicated so I give him props for that. They did miss some of our condiments but I'm glad we could still order and take our food back to the hotel instead of trying to walk around and find some place else. Overall, it was a good experience and Dennys is always a spot when ur craving the munchies read more

I frequent Denny's about twice a week. The staff are always friendly and polite.Although I don't always eat there, the service is always at the top. Most of the time I have coffee or tea which are always fresh. When I do order food, it's always prepared the way I ask for it. Substitutions added to or taken off are never a problem. The staff treat me like family. It's one of my favorite spots to just chill and visit with friends. Bottom line; I love this place. read more

the spanish manager from New Mexico is awasome I stopped every other day to get breakfast and I felt like home I even decided to watch the Mike Tyson fight on Nov 28th I felt more than welcome. The night was going great. I had just seen a concert and I decided to go get a late night meal. After walking up and then back down Fremont street, I couldn't find any good looking restaurants that were still open where I could get some good food for under $20. So I saw the denny's and I just decided that 1:30am breakfast sounds pretty good. There was nobody waiting to be seated when i cam in. The host sat me at a booth and said the waiter would be with me soon. about 3 minutes went by before the waiter showed up and asked me what I wanted to drink. I got a water. About 2 minutes later my water showed up. I was ready to order but the waiter just dropped off the water and said he will be right back to take my order. 16 MINUTES went by and I never saw my server again! I got up and left. read more

The bf and I were staying off Fremont and wanted just a simple, familiar breakfast spot. We came in here around 930 am I want to say. Anyways as the hostess was taking us to our table, she proceed to put us in the way back next to a big party. We passed a both on the way back there and the bf asked if we could sit there instead, her reply was "we came during a rush and we can't sit there cause the booth is for 4 people". Granted we came in the morning but there was no rush of people, the place wasn't even crowded.. and secondly the other booths had 2 people in all of them, not sure what the big deal was. When we got seated we had a really nice and punctual waitress, for the first half of our time there. Once we got our food, she pretty much disappeared. We had to ask other people to get us other things since she was no where to be found. The next time we saw her was when she gave us our bill. The food was eh, most of our food was burnt. Which I get it, it's Denny's but cmon it wasn't even busy. And on top of that I had to wait for my food once my bfs meal came out. And all I ordered was side dish. Someone screwed up in the kitchen. Overall it was an ok experience, we didn't come back for breakfast though the rest of the time spent down there. read more

Always enjoy when I get to come here. The biggest/best part about this Location is simply that the prices are still the same as any other location. I had thought it would be much more expensive because of it being on Fremont street but I got a Caesers salad and it was still 7 dollars. I had expected to pay a lot more then that. As far as the food goes I can not say fully yet. I only ate a salad. It was pretty average, nothing spectacular and nothing wrong either. The staff was nice to me and my order was done quick. I love vegas because of the architecture of the building it's new and refreshing. And probably one of a kind just for Fremont street. I will come back and try something different more food and then I will update my review. read more

So I was seated about 10 PM not many people there but they still made me wait for a table. When they finally sat me the waiter took my order fairly quickly which was a coke and pie ala mode. The coke came quickly, but was gone within the next several minutes. The waiter spent his time apologizing to the next table about how the workers would forget to bring things because of the pandemic, about how easy money serving was, but how bad this particular job was. I continued to wait with an empty cup in front of me, but the waiter never returned. Then they sat 2 girls in the next booth, and they both ordered full meals. I sat there for another 10 minutes and out came their meals, but still no pie for me and still no waiter so I threw 3 bucks on the table to pay for the coke, stood up, and walked out and nobody at the hostess stand or the cashier even paid me any mind. read more

Worst Dennys ever!! Sat down at a table and ready to order our drinks. Table gets sat down way after us and server attends them quickly. We waited a while but now we're completely ready to order. We asked two waiters that we're ready to order and both rudely said we're not your waiter. We asked the second waiter if he can guide our specific waiter to our table and ignored us. We asked a man was wearing a blue shirt if he can help us find our waiter and he was very kind and respectful and talked to someone. We saw a lady waiter attending the table right next to us and politely said that we're ready to order. She responds with well I'm not ready, you're gonna have to wait, and walked away. At that point we've been waiting for 15 mins or even a little bit more. Finally a young lady came up to us and asked if we needed help and she took our order. The only nice people here was that man in the blue shirt who looks like he's working hard/busy but was still able to help us. The woman who also took our order and the hostess. These older servers need to learn what real customer service is and how to balance a busy shift while being kind to their customers. read more
