I come to this place at least twice a month. Specially on those days that I want to have a burger in the middle of the night. Most server are nice but one in a while you get a server that forget to take your order. The consistency is not that great either. Sometimes the cheese that comes with the slamburger feels grainy. If i could give this a negative rating i would. First of all my waitress took 55 minutes before my food even came out. how long does it take to make pancakes? Not 55 minutes. second of all when i was ordering she kept saying "really?" like i should be ashamed of what i'm ordering. Okay so I've never been one to use yelp or use yelp for reviews BUT IVE NEVER BEEN SO MAD and disappointed at a Dennys. One let's start off with " go sit anywhere" and two not being spoken to for 15 mins and I didn't even get a menu the whole time I was here and if I wasn't for the fact I can read Matt didn't say hi or even my name is matt I'll be helping you today. Instead I got a cold what do you want to drink and he seem annoyed the whole night and then I asked for a spoon for my coffee and waited another 10 mins till I got up and asked someone else for it and when I needed more sugar he said give me a min and I said of course thank you again 5 mins went by and nothing. Smelled pretty bad and it didnt look clean at all, but their new holiday Pumpkin Pecan Pie pancakes are pretty good so I choose to ignore that. This dennys is in a really trashy area, so as long as you keep that in mind, its the typical dennys expereience. read more

Just had quite the experience dealing with this establishment. denny's at 650 n st rd 7, margate fl Me and my son wanted a milkshake, so instead of paying more for delivery than the food itself, we ordered online then went to pick it up ourselves. The staff were very friendly, and helpful, that's not the issue. The issue was, I was standing watching the lady make our shakes. She scooped up a chunk of ice cream with a scoop, then proceeded to get it off the scoop with her other hand. Her other ungloved, how long has it been since you washed it, and what have you done since with it, hand. We all know what we do with our hands, and to say the least, a lot of it is best kept to ourselves. I found this less than acceptable ( I actually thought anyone who is handling or preparing food at restaurants were supposed to wear latex gloves, maybe denny's didn't get the memo?) Anyways, I asked the manager if he could return my money, which he politely did, then the lady who is manhandling our ice cream with ungloved hands came out the back and started yelling at me that she was using the scoop, which I agreed she was, she was just using her other (ungloved) hand to get it off, which she denied. There are cameras literally everywhere these days, so I asked the manager if he could look, which he did acknowledge, just not then. He said he would get to it. Anyways, if you want to take a crapshoot on how your food is cooked handled or served, and then be called a liar by saying the mishandling of your food is not acceptable and say what you saw with your own 2 eyes plain as day, then by all means this restaurant is for you!! If for some reason you like to have a bit more confidence in the preparation, handling, serving of your food, you may wanna go somewhere else where the standards are a little more rigid, and not as lax as this place seems to be. read more

Meh. It's Denny's. I pretty much expected it to be mediocre and it was. My pancakes were a lot tougher than my girlfriend's, which was odd. The manager also refused to substitute the bacon my meal came with with bread. Bread is way cheaper than bacon so I don't see the issue. So as usual, the vegetarian pays full price for less. We went to this Denny's on a Friday night. There were several employees throughout the business. Our server was pretty good, but the other workers were busy talking with each other and texting/talking on their cellphones. People were ignored by employees as they went to the register to pay their checks. The food was just OK. You to remember it is Denny's. We had a Philly Cheese Steak and Breakfast Special. At one time Denny's use to have carpet and the smell was horrendous. Now it's nicely remodeled, with wood floors so the atmosphere has improved. We had breakfast around 11:30 am. The service is decent, they are nice but the food lacks flavor and there's no pride. I ordered the prime rib philly and it was horrible. Barely any meat, it was tiny. The season fries that came with were a small amount (like I was a child) and were itty pieces of flavorless and old fries. My friend ordered the chicken tenders in buffalo sauce and there was barely any sauce on them. I don't want to eat here again, ever! Past 2 experiences have been disappointing. Best Denny's I've been to in a long time. Very clean, and we had a friendly and attentive server. Interested manager who checked on us twice during our visit. I ordered a carryout order and when waiting I saw a party of four sitting at a booth by the entrance, and then all of a sudden a roach came out of nowhere. The roach started crawling on the table and that is when the waitress took a napkin and picked it up. That is when I approached the cashier and stated I would like a refund on my order since I wouldn't be taking the food based on what I saw. Come here pretty frequently. Customer service is good, except a lengthy when trying to get your check. Food is always delicious, affordable and cooked the way you want. My only compliant would there grits always suck, watery and flavorless. Other than that, the atmosphere is good and I enjoy coming here with family and kids for a local, affordable, filing meal. Where do I ever begin with my experience ??? I came here after a night out with my colleagues on an average Friday night. After walking in we were sat at a 4 top for my party of 6 and we order refreshments with the lady who sat us.
