If your trying to eat at there out door arrangement in the parking lot beware of yellow-jackets!! We ordered our food inside and proceeded to find seats . While waiting for our food we were greeted with only 2 yellow-jackets( not that bad) Once our food came out and we started to eat;roughly within3 minutes we had to leave the area due to how many yellow-jackets started to swarm our food. We ended up having to box up our food and had to leave. Staff didn't seem to really care when I brought the issue up to them. They didn't offer us an Apology or offered us another seating location. When I went they said that there was only one server available so the wait would be 30-40 minutes for a table. Once we got the the table our server did not come to check on us, our drinks were empty practically the whole time. The gentleman bussing the tables was the only one we could get to refill our drinks. I am sitting here with my husband and a friend. We were seated 15 minutes ago. We have yet to even see a glass of water. I actually called the reception desk on my cel phone from my booth and asked where our waitress was. We waited another 7 minutes until she showed up. now waiting for food. 20 minutes. Food was your normal Dennys fair, but not great. Now waiting for the bill. Its Dennys what can you expect. Just a note, the manager has put all the staged photos of food on yelp. Disappointed! I've always liked the Marina Denny's but after yesterday I don't think I'll be returning. I called yesterday morning to make sure their dining room would be open after my daughters' homecoming dance because a group of them wanted to go out for food after. I was told their dining room would be closing at midnight. The dance ended at 10pm and the group was there by 10:30 and turned away. They were told the kitchen was closed. read more

I should've read the other reviews. Stayed at Motel 6, which is up the driveway from Denny's, so it made sense to order online and pick up. My entire experience was annoying and ridiculous. The restaurant was practically empty but it took them 55 minutes to produce my food. On top of that the waitresses were rarely seen, likely because a couple of people were waiting on take-out orders who were also annoyed. When one of the waitresses did come out she kept asking what I was waiting for and made me repeat my order each time. The other waitress was rude. The experience wasn't saved by the quality of food either because when I opened the containers my food was cold and the hash browns weren't even cooked. I will never go here again. read more

I'm not sure what goes on in this branch of Dennys. Everytime I go here, there's always a line of people trying to be seated. And it's usually just one host trying to seat all the individual parties. But if you look past the dividers, you see a whole staff waiting. Just. Standing there doing nothing. I understand maybe it's the not their job to seat people with is totally fine. Maybe they're servers. But. When it comes to ordering your food, those same people are still standing around. Doing nothing. And if you're lucky, one of them will approach you and take your order. First off, don't bother calling the phone number. No one has ever answered it in the history of being there.. It used to be good and has gone down hill after losing some of their best managers/waitresses. I'd like to say they are only good for the desserts but even at times they put no effort into it. I usually would never leave a review for Denny's , because you would expect breakfast with poor service or an overpacked restaurant with really angry Waiters, But this was not the situation. I came in with my husband and four children normally it's very hectic but our waitress was the general manager Dana, she provided excellent service was very accommodating and got our order right the first time which sometimes can be tricky LOL if in the area and choosing to have some breakfast or lunch I would definitely choose to come back to this location and hopefully Dana will be our waitress again. read more

Came herewith my mother one time for a country fried steak for a breakfast item. The "steak" wasn't even a steak it was a smashed up sausage patty with batter, and besides the terrible and bland food the waitresses never even bothered to check up on us if needed a coffee refill or if we were fine. Hi, I've been going to dennys for a couple of years now, the other morning I believe yesterday morning close to 7 am. There was this server i believe the name was zaira, she completely ignored me when I walked in and when I tried to get her attention she spoke to me with attitude and continued to ignore me. The young lady that was there prior to her was being yelled at and being spoken to as if she was below the other server. zaira continuously patronized the other server as if she never does her job. I've been there a couple of times and served by the young lady, and she was very kind and was the only one who did her job correctly and made sure her guest were doing great. Never once did she forget or ignore me when i needed something. Compared to zaira, who ignored me and had me standing there while she yelled at the other server. I think someone who speaks to their coworkers like that should be spoken to about respect. read more

Food was brought out cold(chicken fried steak) when I asked the server for a fresh one he brought a rock hard one w hot gravy. Biscuits were rock hard. Could not cut with fork. All the fries were cold. I drove 5 hours to get here, the kids wanted a warm comfort meal and we were served trash. Only good thing was burger and seasoning fries. I'll never eat Denny's again. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! No matter what time of day.. even when they aren't busy.. I've been here now for 30 minutes, it took me 15 minutes to be seated and the waitress has been rushing by though I've been ready to order since I've been here.. not to mention she has helped other customers that have been seated after me.. I even mentioned "we are ready" and she told me she'd be right with us and continued taking orders of people who were seated after me. Very dirty! Lots of food on the floor with employees walking around it rather than picking it up. The hostess was not around and several groups just took the list and put their names down. When the hostess returned she called off a different list. Several people were very angry. Once sat, we waited 5 minutes before I had to ask to be served. It's Denny's, in an area that might not get a lot of traffic, so they're permanently understaffed. I go at odd hours instead of prime mealtimes, and both the food and the service have been okay - neither are brilliant, but neither are bad. Decent food at a good price. In my experience I think the kitchen does what it feels like with your order and the servers have to deal with what the kitchen doesn't do right and hope you won't complain. read more
