In the last year or so I have come back to Dennys because it seemed and looked like things where getting better and as far as the restraunts being cleaner and service getting better that did not last long I ordered the meat slam eggs over easy took a long time to get it and when I got it the eggs where like rubber and way over cooked as where the beacon and sausage like they where reheated our server never came back to ask about our food I left the food on the table and only ate 1 sausage and a piece of toast when I went to pay the girl asked how everything was I told her the eggs where like rubber and she never responded to me I am sorry to say I doubt I will be back this would be the 3rd chance I have given Dennys I am done read more

Building/Atmosphere: This place is falling apart. Three different booths that the tables were about to fall apart. Had to sit at a regular table that is just too small for even three guys. Food: eh. My complaint is about the service I got this visit....Stopped in to get order to go about 12:55pm. Not busy at all. Stepped up to register only to have,(I believe the manager) ask one of the ladies that was doing Christmas decorations to take my to-go order. After giving me a look of annoyance, she came over and reluctantly took my order. I then sat at a table since all the counter stools were being used for Christmas decorations. Btw a couple of counter stools were broken and have been for a while. Anyway, I had been waiting about 5 mins when above mentioned server told me I had to sit in the lobby since I was waiting for to-go order! First time I have ever been told that! Now I could understand if they were busy, but there was hardly anyone in there. After about 20-25 mins it was ready. Same demeanor from this server. Needless to say NO tip for her! I don't usually have this type of service from this Denny's but this day and with the manager there, it was lousy. By the way the manager was decorating around me the whole time I sat in the lobby and never said a word! Cant beat the price for 2 breakfasts for 2 seniors so I go pretty often to this one. Its not a real clean Denny's but I've never gotten sick nor seen anything that wasn't suppose to be in the food. The saying "You get what you pay for" couldn't be more true here..... PS: If they ever get the counter clear don't sit there or you will be looking at the very dirty areas behind the counters.... Hope home office sees this. read more

When we were seated we had a crack head for a waitress who messed up our order.. my youngest had to wait, cause the waitress obviously didn't put her order in.. by the time it came out, everyone was pretty much done. Generally, I have a great experience at this location. However, I am very disappointed to say that I am very upset with my visit today. I found an eyelash on my bacon and my boyfriend found one in his scrambled eggs. I am only giving 3 stars due to the customer service being excellent. The waitress was kind, welcoming and attentive. I thought it was good the 1st & 2nd time I went. Sheila was my 1st waitress and she kelp disappearing. Had to wait over 5 minutes to track her down to get the check. I left her a $20 tip. I was with my son. The next time I went again with my son, Sheila couldn't be found and Bonetta served us. She was top notch in taking care of us. The last time my friend Deb and I went, service was bad. Had to wait long just to put in an order. Jason was the server. Got my order wrong, had to wait for coffee. Mind you, only 4 customers in the store. I didn't get any pancakes or syrup, it was a fiasco. This was in the past 6 weeks. I wasn't given the special $6.99 deal either. And then when I saw how small the cup was and found out later you charged us $3.99 a cup!! That was upsetting. I won't be back. Poor service. Very friendly staff. Pam was our waitress and she was sweet, attentive and timely. Our food came out within about 15 minutes. It was a bit sloppy, but overall tasted good. We've been coming here over the years and will continue to. The restaurant itself has been the same. It could be cleaner but it's neat and orderly. read more

Let me start by saying, my family loves Denny's! This location unfortunately is a disgrace to the name. I have had one interaction with this location and they have dropped the ball. Ordered online didn't get one item. Called the store they refused to refund me for the item they were aware they left out of my order. Told me to come by and pick it up in the next week or so. I'm 20 min away and never go on that side of town. Hence the online order and delivery. I have made 3 calls to Denny's corporate in nearly a month with no response from the manager, representative or franchise owner. How hard is it to get a refund for $4 for an item they didn't give me! Great food. We had this nice lady take care of us and we could tell she was running quite a few of the tables by herself. She wasn't stopping for a second. However she made sure we were comfortable and welcome. The reason I won't give a 5 star is because while she was working, there were these 2 ladies who work there were walking at the counter area back and forth doing nothing but talking to each other. My issue here is that makes me even more upset is while we were being checked out one of those two ladies were a certified training. The issue is where I have personally worked, the people who are the trainers are supposed to be the example for other workers. So what kind of example is she setting? So rude. I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door for a week while in town for work. I ate here frequently and never had a problem. Some times it took a hot second to get seated. But I was always greeted immediately by my server, the food came out quickly and in all of it's fatty, unhealthy, cholesterol-ridden goodness, I found the locals to be quite entertaining as they were oblivious to me observing them in their natural habitat, and my servers were always nice diner-type ladies. read more

Long time breakfast customer, a different restaurant for dinner vs breakfast so this is a breakfast review. Formerly a great restaurant with friendly and helpful waitresses, always fast service. The reason for the one star is they recently changed how the condiments were presented on the table. Formerly they were in little caddies that held everything. This was very convenient with everything in one place and jellies/jams & syrup on the table. They recently got rid of the little caddies and now everything is all over the place, jellies/jams are no longer on the table. Looks like SHIT, whomever made this monumentally stupid decision should be FIRED. The understaffed waitress have to work extra hard providing what was already on the table. They're also putting down paper placemats where you sit before you arrive, either they're put down to soon after wiping or the table wasn't wiped as the placemat is stuck to the table. These recent changes need to be fixed or you will be losing a long time (6 year) customer, with lots of bad word being spread about this Denny's going to crap. Just had a craving for some of their buttermilk pancakes. Actually Denny's was my 2nd choice since I was actually looking fwd to going to Ihop as they have more of a variety of pancakes to choose from. But unfortunately they closed down. These pancakes were great, and they did hit the spot. But Denny's do not offer a wide variety to choose from. Other than that it was a good experience. You can go to a place that has great food but if the service isn't on point and friendly then it can damper the experience. Worst. Denny's. Ever.....and I've been in some sketchy ones at 3am during my college days. Customer service must be a thing of the past here. I've been to this place twice and had bad service both times. Actually, the second time (about 3 weeks ago) there was no service. We were seated after a scattering to clean up tables (no, there was no crowd). There was no cutlery/placemats on the table; no menus were distributed; no "be right with you" from wait staff that continued to drift back & forth. After 20 minutes our party of five decided to leave - afterall, I can get bad service anywhere. One sharp waitress, who was serving a table next to us that was seated 10 minutes after we'd arrived, says "Oh, is no one serving you?" I told her that was okay because we could go somewhere else and get service. Obviously, they are doing exceptionally well and don't need the income. There definitely won't be a third visit. read more
