I cant even fathom the horrible "managerial" service we received tonight. Never in my life have I or my family been treated so horrible in my life. We decided to eat here as we usually do after Friday Night football games. We got here around 11 and waited a little bit because it was a bit busy. A large table of high school students and MAYBE 6 other tables. A couple waitresses, a buser, A COOK, and a manager (i use this title loosely). There was 6 of us. Took about 10 mins to be seated. Took about 10-15 mins for the waitress to come over and let us she would be back to take our drink orders. Thats was fine they were moderately busy. Maybe about 10 mins after our drinks she took our food order. Not until 1220 did we get our food. Grant you we could of got up and left but we were waiting watching food come into the window thinking that has to be ours but it would always go to another table. Another waitress came to our table because during this time of course we grew impatient looking around for a "manager" to tell us they are trying to get us our food. We ate our food because THE FOOD WAS NOT THE ISSUE THE SLOW SERVICE WAS!!! We go to pay and ask for the manager who comes over and tells us he can give us 9.00 off our 80+ dollar bill. We explained to him why we felt a larger discount was deserved and he refused said if we didnt pay he would call the police. Not one time did we try to leave without paying because yes we ate the food but seriously over an hour to receive pancakes, bacon and grilled cheese. Tables that arrived way after us got their food, ate their food, got their bills and paid and left before us. Not one table multiple tables. When I asked the manager how would he feel if it were his family he kinda smirked and said I dont know how to answer you. When asked why people were served before us he always answered with a smirk and attitude and told me that didnt happen. When I asked him his name He responded with "Anthony" i politely asked him his last name and he laughed and said you dont need that. Okay cool whatever. This SAME manager was witness by my kids outside YELLING at an employee. The employee responded to "Anthony" with I cant work like this. He told employee "Good" How is that anyway to run ANY business. Our waitress was awesome with our refills and getting us what we needed except our food. The manager told us "I was in the kitchen cooking too" Okay then our food should of been out sooner shouldnt it? Denny's is a place known to many as a comfort food and comforting atmosphere, a place where you can feel at home no matter what time it is. The night shift at this Denny's is by far the best wait staff I have ever met, they are all extremely attentive and meet all needs including food allergies and odd requests. I've only been to this Denny's twice however my second time going was by far my favorite, the first time was rather average and right after my homecoming but the second time around I noticed that the waitress was absolutely charming. She was very nice and checked up on us often to make sure we were eating well or had enough drinks. We were seated right away and the food came out rather quickly as well. On request, she even gave us the booth seat with the outlet so my boyfriend could charge his phone. I'd go to Denny's over iHop anyday. read more

This Dennys always gets our order right. The staff is always friendly & attentive. Hubby & I come here at least once or twice a month. They always know how to cook my over-medium eggs to perfection! Just found this Dennys the other night after walking out of the one in Temecula for being lied to and having to walk to the counter and ask for refills. Jared who I think may be the manager was so friendly on the phone and even more so in person. All the staff was smiling, and the restaurant was so clean, bright and cheerful. One of the best Denny's in the area. We were helped by Claudia. She is a true professional and I am always happy when we get her as our server. Always a smile and she anticipates what the customer will need or want like ranch dressing for my wife's seasoned fries. A guy answer and was taking my order when all of a sudden he stated he couldn't hear me and then clicked on me..I called again an a lady answered when she said "we are busy so I'm going to put you one hold". I could hear them talking and laughing saying stuff like "pues wow" I believe her name was Rosa. I waited for 15 min!!! Terrible service. I phoned in my order while at work so I could pick it up on my 10 minute break. I was told it'd be ready in 10 minutes. 12 minutes later i arrive at Denny's. The girl at the counter tells me she doesn't see anything under my name. She looks on the computer and finds it and says it was just put in and to have a seat. 15 minutes later I'm now asking for my food and she begins to bag it up. My son and his friends went to have a bite to eat late Sunday night. When I picked him up, he had nothing but good things to say. Not only about the food but the service as well. Their server Chrispen was very attentive to refilling their drinks and bringing their food in a timely manner. She was very friendly, prompt and engaged in conversation other than just taking their order. Upon returning home my son realized that he might of left his apple ear buds on the seat. We went to the Dennys in Murrieta today had been there a couple of times we ordered and my wife had asked if she could order from a kids menu the waitress said they didn't have one. We in turn ordered from the menu, a few minutes passed and my wife said look at this menu I found it had the 2,4,6,8 specials it was hidden behind the salt and pepper holder I then called and asked the waitress why she didn't mention this to us about these meals before we ordered she stated my manager told me not to mention this menu to the customers. I don't blame the waitress for this ignorance of the manager. The reason we go to Dennys because of the good deals and the good service and good food but if the management can't follow the advertisements on the tv then why should we continue to eat at Dennys. Came in on Sunday afternoon to have lunch, when I walked in I checked in with the host who was interacting with another customer in front of me she was rude to the older lady. When it was my turn to get seated she was extremely rude and told me you can wait outside or in your car. I walked outside it's extremely hot so I decided to go inside to let her know I'll wait in my car. I asked her how do I know when it's my turn to be seated and when she answered me she had an attitude and said "I was waiting for you to give me your number so we can call you but your just stand there and walked away" extremely rude for an employee to speak to the customer that way I read her name tag her name is MARTHA! When I finally got seated I was helped by two other employees who immediately apologized for their manager. They took my order and were very nice and polite to my family and I their names were Yesenia and Valeria vey nice and extremely happy with their customer service. As for the so called manager Martha she shouldn't be a manager if she can't have good customer service skills. Very disappointed in this Denny's for having a manager like this! Unfortunately we just had to walk out of our local Dennys due to a verbal altercation with a waitress that we have had issues with in the past. Although we frequent this Dennys often and have been eating here for at least 15 years, there is one waitress that for some reason always, and I mean ALWAYS gives us a hard time over something minor. I drew the line today and just walked out. Attempted to order the Grand Slam Slugger which comes with coffee and juice. I have full on laryngitis and the person I was with had to actually order for me. As I don't drink coffee ever, she asked for hot tea instead of the cofffee. Something we have ordered over and over again for years without a single issue with any server there. It's a simple and reasonable request. She begins to tell me how there are no substitutions and if I wanted the hot tea not only would there be an additional charge but I would have to FORFEIT my orange juice!! What???? Are you effin' serious?? I am obviously sick need the hot tea, can't even order my own food and you want to argue with me with attitude I might add, over switching out coffee for hot tea? We had another issue with her a while back over iced coffee and got coffee. She is an extremely rude waitress with no compassion for her customers, and for future reference when I do go back will adamantly refuse to sit in her serving area! I entered the building and the waitress mumbled something and walked away. I stood there waiting. She came back after some time and mumbled something again and showed us to our seat. Then another waitress showed up to take my order. All I was ordering was an omelette and she couldn't get what omelette I was ordering. I had to repeat myself to her. I asked for a side of crispy bacon. The silverware was gross, it had dried food particles on it. There was a fly buzzing around our table. The omelette arrived with no bacon on the side. There was one piece of bacon that someone had crumbled up and threw on top of my omelette. It was very sad looking. How hard is it to make an omelette? I would have done better staying at home making my own! There was barely any cheese inside, there were only 7 tiny pieces of sausage crumbles, 2 very small bell pepper chunks, and a mound full of burnt onions. It was basically plain egg and burnt onions. It was gross!!!! The hashbrowns were soggy. I didn't eat them. The ice tea was good but they never came back to ask if ai needed a refill. read more

Horrible experience. We felt rushed to place our order. When my son ordered a smoothie he was told by the waiter "you're going to have to wait for it cause we're behind" Once we ordered our drinks we waited over 20 minutes but no drinks came while everyone around us was getting refills not to mention that a family that was seated way after us was served the same smoothie my son had asked for. Friday night and only 1 waitress as I recall when my family and I came to eat dinner. She was attentive to us considering there were quite a lot of other people to be served. Took us about 40 minutes to acquire our food and for one thing, I ordered pancakes and got SOUR CREAM on it. I guess it was mistaken as "butter" . We've been to this Denny's three times in the last six months. First two provided excellent service and value. Yesterday we had a very pleasant server, but the value menu was gone, and the food I ordered was certainly not worth the price on the new menu. Got the Pecan Banana Pancake breakfast: pancakes were dry, even for wheat pancakes, the bacon looked and tasted like the pre-cooked microwave bacon from Oscar Meyer. Egg whites looked as if they had been scraped off fried eggs and chopped up. Coffee cups looked unwashed. We won't be coming back. read more

rarely do i eat out but decided to grab something quick and it was close to the store I was at-i get that it is Denny's and you shouldn't expect Flemings but wouldn't you think getting your food would be nice? there were a total of 6 customers (4 tables) and 2 servers; ordered and waited...and waited....and waited. finally a nice server (not the guy who took my order of course as he was too busy going in and out of the bathroom (drug problem maybe?) asked me if I had ordered, I told her yeah about 30 minutes ago and after rolling her eyes, apologizing and telling me that biscuits and gravy shouldn't take 30 minutes, she asked if I needed it to go. My sister and I went to eat lunch with my boyfriend. We waited 15 before sitting when there was about 5 booths available. After sitting down we finally got our drinks after 10 mins. They forgot to bring the waters we had also asked for. We ordered our meals and made my boyfriend meal a Togo because he had work. After 40 mins go by still no food with barely anyone in the restaurant my boyfriend had to leave so we stopped his order. After he left 15 more mins go by and our food finally comes out and I'm missing fries. 10 mins go by before I get my fries. We ordered pancake puppies and they never came. When we asked to speak to the manager she came over and we began to tell her why we where so displeased and she had an excuse for everything. Went for breakfast with my girlfriend. She ordered a breakfast skillet and I ordered bacon and eggs. First off, the waiter spoke unintelligibly -we just couldn't understand him. Very unfriendly place in both our opinions. GFs breakfast was good and mine was terrible. I received the wrong toast (not a big deal in itself) and it went downhill from there. The replacement toast wasn't toasted - it was warm. The hash browns were not cooked fully and I found pieces of tomato and sausage in them. Sorry folks, that's disgusting. I was really unhappy so rather than say something and ask for a manager I figured I would email Denny's when I was in a cooled down mode. So I did and I received the thanks for letting us know and we'll make sure we are in touch with management about your experience. I asked for a phone call and of course that didn't happen. I expected at least an apology. I will make sure everyone I know hears about this place and the customer service or should I say lack of customer service. read more
