We came here on a Sunday night on our way back from San Diego. We have never had great service at Denny's until tonight when Mr. Humberto took great care of us. He is efficient, friendly, and kept us happy. The food is standard Denny's, but the exceptional service is what made the meal memorable. We don't frequent Denny's too often, but with their new vegan and vegetarian options, we will definitely keep this as a dine out option from now on. read more

I came here by myself this morning and I had a great experience, I didn't think it would be busy because people normally are at work and school on Friday mornings but it was pretty busy. I got sat right away and it took a little while to get my coffee but maybe I was just grumpy because I needed my morning coffee (we all know that feeling). I had a great server named Claudia who looked awfully busy but she still managed to make my experience nice by checking on me a few times although she was running laps making sure everyone had everything. Overall it was a good experience! One recommendation would be to get better fruit for the fruit bowls! Poor service, spacey server, and poor management. Multiple incorrect orders were brought out. We ordered nachos without sour cream and we watched our server put our food on someone else's table notice it was not for them then noticed the sour cream took it to the back and scooped off the large mush of cream to then bring it to us. Next I ordered a sandwich without a bun due to an allergy; the sandwich was brought out with a bun and sent back due to that. Not even 3 minutes later the sandwich was brought back out lettuce wrapped; clearly the bun was removed even though it was brought up that wheat/gluten was an allergy. There was the excuse that the kitchen was busy but when we walked in there were maybe 4 other tables with people in various stages of eating/ordering. Management was not supporting their staff and was acting like they could only deal with to go orders and the register even though we waited over 5 minutes for her to appear to check out the long line at the register. I believe our server was newer and at one point during our wait she got a table of over 12 people and the other servers and staff did nothing to help her or her tables that she already had. As we were waiting to check out the family in front of us joked there teen son should check us out and the father said they would probably hire his son and maybe someone could get an order right so my assumption was they also had a similar experience to us. I've been to this location about 5-6 times and I always had to wait for someone to seat us even though there were plenty of tables available. The biggest problem is the lack of servers. Placed an order on Grubhub... driver never picked up the order (totally Grubhubs fault)... BUT... when I spoke to Rudy the manager, he was beyond rude, disrespectful and spoke over me! All I asked is why he couldn't call me go let me know my order had been sitting for over an hour? After all, he did call me to let me know they were out of chocolate shake, so why not call me to let us know the order was just sitting there? Or even call Grubhub!? On top of it all when I asked if they could remake our order (as it would now be cold as it has been sitting for over an hour) he told me "no because it's not my problem"... I WAS SHOCKED!!! The remodel looks AWESOME and the staff is very friendly but the food takes long every time we come here. It's not that the chef's are slow, it's the waiter's not constantly checking to see if the order is up. So it sits... Therefore, the coffee and food are servered cold. I am the Sabrina that has good and bad reviews here for the Murrieta location! Stood majority of my customers were amazing and honestly the customers are a part of good customer service believe it or not! Negative attracts negative and positive.... You know! My bad reviews seem to be at the beginning of my employment there but yea we get pretty busy and working at any Denny's can be hectic.... It's the customers though that made me a good server! Your positive attitudes and smiles make it easy to remain calm and give good service!!! I have had nights where I was packed but every single table there were MY regulars... My husband and I ordered delivery through Grubhub. Got a burger, fries, milkshake, a Large app and a chicken dinner meal. Came out to about $45. When it arrived the burger didn't have fries, the app was suppose to come with three sauces and it didn't and we didn't get our milkshake either. We usually suck it up, but paying almost $50 I called the restaurant. I spoke to a waitress who answered who argued about what was in the order, then she handed it over to a manager who basically told us to call grubhub Bc it wasn't there problem. SO, I call grubhub and THEY call the restaurant just to get the same waitress to put them on hold for 10 mins (probably in hopes they would hang up) finally talked to a manager who still wouldn't refund. In the end grubhub ending up refunding us for the missing items. But that's just sad, food was alright but that's the worse customer service I have ever experienced!!!!! read more

My family and I went to Denny's for a late night snack during Black Friday, as we were all hungry from our insane escapades. I split the nachos with my cousin. It came with ground beef, pico de gallo, sour cream, and of course, cheese. I was very disappointed in how it tasted. I wish there was a way for me to leave 0 stars. My family and I went to Denny's last night to celebrate my sons Christmas performance everything was fine until we left. Later that night I was woken up because I was up sick in the bathroom. After being up every 20-30 minutes with illness in the bathroom I realize that I had food poisoning. I contacted the manager the next morning and she basically told me I was wrong. I definitely don't recommend a company that does not show concern about their guests safety and food that was not that great. Next i will have to contact FDA. read more

As I am reading the other reviews, I wondered if they were talking about the same place. Service: We've been coming at this Denny's a lot and have not encountered anybody who was rude. Okay, there was one wait staff whose service was sloooow that we dreaded being served by him but he eventually came around and got better. Food: My family and I always enjoyed the food here. Until recently, we have not come for a while since we wanted to try all the diners around the area. We were pleasantly surprised that the place was renovated and the food and service got even better! I've been to both Denny's and IHOP within a week and I'd pick this Denny's over IHOP across the street anytime!
