Tried this Dennys close to your stay here in Temecula. Greeted and seated. We had a long night at the Temecula wineries which Dennys was suitable to dine since everything was pretty much close. We were starving and ready to eat! I wanted something from the breakfast menu. Ordered Steak and Eggs and Moons over my Hammies Sandwich. All was served deliciously fresh. This place was immaculate for being a Dennys! A very clean establishment. The waitress there could have used some help. She was stuck trying to accommodate folks that loved talking and wouldn't let her do her job. I don't know her name, but she was tall. I had to stop one of the other servers to get more water and pay my bill. I give a 5 star for presentation. Service was lacking. I would come back.

My family had a very good (breakfast) dining experience here, the staff was friendly, efficient, and the food was prepared well. Good to know - this location offers a military discount and for those 55+, they have separate menu options that are very budget friendly.

This Denny's has got it go'n on! From service & great food... to cleanliness. Claudia took care of us today for brunch and she is amazing! Friendly and always right on time with checking up on us. She gave us a number of options and told us about the specials. We had 2 orders of the American Slam: 3 eggs (scrambled) with cheese, bacon and hash browns. Coffee- of course - it was hot & fresh! The restrooms were clean and squared away, which is always a great indicator. I love breakfast/brunch and this location was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Claudia, for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

5am dining on a Tuesday morning at Denny's is wonderful! Quiet, perfectly prepared food, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, great service! And the coffee was fresh and tasty. Very enjoyable experience, and a favorable beginning to a day.

Birthday month celebrations! Took advantage of my free Birthday Slam from Denny's. A true classic American diner with home cooked meals at a reasonable price. Claudia was my server and she took care of me from initial seating to sending me off with a cup of coffee to go. She's a teal gem! Pancakes were fluffy, bacon was crispy, sausage was tasty and the eggs were a perfect over medium. Coffee was literally endless and hot! Great visit during birthday month. Keep on Yelp'n!

This is my go to spot when I am in town for work and stay at the hotel (Courtyard) next door. Both times that I have been there, Claudia has been working and she is wonderful. She greets you as soon as you walk in and asks what she can get you to drink. She engages in conversation with you and keeps you up to date on your order. This last time I went, she was so sweet she complimented the cook on the presentation of my breakfast plate...so I had to take a pic! The food was great, tasty as it always is, the value was amazing $10 for all that food and she asked me if I wanted a hot chocolate to go! So sweet! Definitely will be back next time I'm in town!

Always a great time coming to the Dennys in murrieta! Today I got a sirloin steak and eggs breakfast combo $16 and substituted the hash browns for fruit and toast for pancakes. Big difference from last time as they included grapes and bananas to the melons. Last time I only got melons. I saved the bananas to top my pancakes for sweet banana pancakes. Sirloin steak was delicious for what it was. I asked for medium but the steak was more on the medium-well side. Eggs scrambled. It's very easy to turn a full breakfast into a healthy one at dennys! Tip: you can only substitute the hash browns for another form of potato (like fries) or upgrade* to fruit. It's not really a substitute and costs 99 cents. Thank you to our server Kim who was very kind and showed great service to our table! Her smile was very welcoming.

Located on the corner of Madison Ave and Murrieta Hot Springs Rd next to 7-11 with plenty of parking and open 24/7. Conveniently near the 15 Fwy off Murrieta Hot Springs exit. We stopped here on Friday night on our way home after a boxing event at Pechanga. It was not busy at all, so we were seated immediately. Tonight, I had their Sirloin Dinner, and my husband had their Chicken Fried Chicken dinner. Everything was delicious with that authentic Denny's taste. Food was cooked to perfection with good presentation. Shout out to JC and our server John, both gentlemen were extremely attentive and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and organized, the kitchen looked impressively clean with floors moped. This Denny's is a great example of excellent management. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this location and will definitely return.

Smokehouse Mac & Cheese Skillet. Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. T-Bone Steak.

I ordered the Smokehouse Mac & Cheese Skillet.. it was delicious but my friend ordered the T-Bone Steak. medium rare.. the steak we got, was well done., meat was dry and there was no pink. Our server said it was medium rare and we showed him, there's no pink, as normally found when meat is medium rare. Our server then sent it back to the kitchen to get another one, and the new one that we got.. wasn't medium rare at all. It was rare and too pink. Given it was a slow day., at least the cook should know how to cook a medium rare steak.. temperature between 130-135 degrees. We did not send the second steak back.. but Denny's should train their line cooks better. We appreciated the server trying to get our order correct.

Club sandwich, banana pancakes, omelettes delicious

Great food great service always I am never disappointed me and my wife enjoyed it here. The food is on time and it's piping hot very good coffee. All the employees here are wonderful and seem to love their job and welcoming people who are the diners. Thank you I gave this place. Five stars on the rough never disappointment and also thank you to our server. I'm gonna give him five stars and five stars to the rest of the employees and specially the cook. Our server name was Sergio Matias will come back again thanks.

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Richie's Real American Diner for 36 years. We started…read morecoming here when we were in high school, so we've been eating at Richie's longer than some of the employees have been alive. At this point, our booth should probably qualify for historical preservation. We stopped in this morning for breakfast, and unfortunately it was one of those visits that leaves you wondering if someone quietly swapped Richie's for a very convincing movie set. Our waitress was as busy as a one-legged waitress on a pogo stick during the Sunday breakfast rush. She had so many tables that when she finally reached ours, we ordered our drinks and breakfast in the same sentence because we weren't entirely confident we'd see her again before retirement. She worked incredibly hard, and none of what follows is a criticism of her. She simply wasn't given a fair chance to succeed. Frankly, she deserved backup, not more tables. Our food arrived quickly thanks to Octavio. Now...the hash browns. These poor potatoes have been on quite the emotional journey lately. Some mornings they appear to have been shown a picture of a grill from across the room. Other mornings they're cremated on one side to the point they could qualify as fossil fuel, while the other side remains suspiciously optimistic about ever being cooked. Breakfast has become a culinary game show called "Guess That Hash Brown!" Because our waitress never had a chance to circle back, we needed several things but eventually surrendered to our circumstances. After we finished eating, we waited...and waited...and finally asked a busser what our table number was so we could simply pay at the register ourselves. Then came the moment that perfectly summed up why this visit felt different. There are two registers. One cashier was busy helping another guest. Manuel was standing behind the other register, where he had been helping customers moments earlier, so naturally we waited there. Nothing. Thinking perhaps he simply hadn't seen us, we moved behind the customer at the other register. The instant we moved, another gentleman walked up to the register we had just left. Like he'd been waiting for his cue, Manuel immediately rang him up. I actually looked down to make sure I hadn't accidentally put on Harry Potter's invisibility cloak. After helping him, Manuel walked right past me and said, "Someone will be right with you." Well...yes. Eventually. But that wasn't really the point. This isn't the first time we've felt dismissed by Manuel. For years I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was shy. Maybe it was a communication issue. Maybe I was imagining it. I'm not imagining it. The remarkable thing is that we've never experienced this from anyone else at Richie's. Nearly every employee we've encountered over the last 36 years has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see us. Which is exactly why this hurts. Jack and Linda didn't build a restaurant. They built a family. People didn't just come for pancakes the size of hubcaps or biscuits that could solve most of life's problems. They came because Jack and Linda somehow made every customer feel like they mattered. Whether it was your first visit or your thousandth, you felt like you'd been invited into someone's home. That kind of hospitality can't be written into an employee handbook. It has to be lived. Lately, it feels like that beautiful spirit is quietly fading away. The building still says "Richie's." The menu still says "Richie's." The coffee still smells like Richie's. But the feeling... The feeling is slowly slipping away. It's as though with the passing of Jack and Linda, little pieces of the heart of Richie's have been leaving too. Not all at once--but one interaction, one understaffed morning, one inconsistent breakfast, and one missed opportunity to make someone feel welcome at a time. That's the truly disappointing part. Restaurants can fix hash browns. They can hire more servers. They can retrain managers. But preserving the culture that Jack and Linda spent decades creating--that's the real challenge. We don't come here because it's the closest diner. We come because, for 36 years, it felt like coming home. Lately...it feels like we're visiting the house after the family moved away. And after 36 years, that's a heartbreaking thing to watch.

I substituted the bread for a gluten-free bun, and honestly, it had a lot of flavor. It did start to fall apart after a while, especially with the coleslaw, but it held up pretty well at first. The presentation was beautiful and everything was packed with flavor. Even the coleslaw was really good. They are definitely not stingy with the meat, which I appreciated. I finished the whole sandwich, and so did my brother. I also got an iced matcha latte and replaced the milk with oat milk, plus added vanilla syrup. The flavor was really good. It wasn't overly sweet, but just enough to enjoy while still tasting the matcha. Price-wise, $20 for a sandwich felt a little high, and our total came out to $57.60 for both of us. There were upcharges for the gluten-free bun and oat milk, plus we added two sides of ranch. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and flavor make up for it. We went during lunch and it was pretty busy, especially with an older crowd, but the service was still amazing. Our waitress checked on us often and was very attentive. Overall, this place is definitely a vibe, both inside and outside, and a great first-time experience. I wouldn't come here regularly because of the prices, but if I'm in the area again, especially for a doctor's appointment, I would definitely come back.

Last time, my fiancée and I came in on our engagement day to celebrate with brunch and were turned away at the door because we had iced coffees from next door. Real classy way to treat customers. Management never responded to that review. Shocker. So against my better judgment, I gave them another shot this morning. Here's what happened: I have a gluten allergy. I told my waitress. I specifically asked her to check whether one of the menu items was gluten-free -- which she did -- and I clearly asked for my toast on a separate plate so my wife could have it. Simple request. Clear communication. Done. Food came out with bread sitting directly on top of everything on my plate. When I pointed out the mistake and reminded them of my allergy, the person who delivered the food had the audacity to respond with an irritated "I guess we are going to have to remake the food." You messed up the order. The attitude is completely backwards. Then my waitress came back to tell me she "didn't know" about my allergy. I stated it twice and had her look something up because of it. Either she didn't write it down, or the kitchen ignored it entirely. Either way -- a gluten allergy isn't a preference, it's a health issue. First plate took 15 minutes. Remake took another 15. While sitting outside waiting, we overheard our waitress telling another table their order had also been messed up by the kitchen. So it's not just us. Let's be honest about what The Mill serves: basic breakfast. Eggs, bacon, potatoes. This isn't a Michelin-starred tasting menu. It's breakfast. And you still managed to get it wrong twice in one visit. The "breakfast pizza" I've tried before wasn't good either. And the apple chicken sausage? It tastes like wet dog food -- I don't know what's in that but it should not be on the menu. To their credit, they remade the food and our waitress was pleasant despite everything. The hal-o-penyo sauce was genuinely good. That's it. That's the entire list of positives. The real issue is systemic. The kitchen staff is either disorganized or resentful about their own mistakes. Communication between the floor and the kitchen is nonexistent. Management clearly doesn't care -- they didn't respond to my last review, and nothing has changed. A restaurant that can't handle allergy requests for a scrambled eggs order is not a restaurant that takes its customers seriously. I gave you two chances. You burned both. I won't be back, and I'll be making sure my friends and family know exactly what to expect here.
