Who knew Dennys could still slap!? Went on Veteran's day. I love that they were offering free grand slams to vets. Thank you for your service and to you too Denny's for doing the damn thing. Food came out quick. Chicken fried steak was decent. They actually nailed the soft scrambled eggs, IYKYK. They were busy, i understand but once we got our food, 0 tables touches or refill checks. They bring you a pot of coffee if you order coffee. Kind of small for a Denny's or it's just feels that way since it's been that long since I've been to one .

This short review is for the Denny's along Winchester Road in Murrieta. We some here occasionally after church, the food that we order never once comes out warm, seems like it was just sitting by the window counter for a long time before bringing it to the table. Even if we order a dinner meal, it's always room temperature. The taste is good but that's about it. Nothing spectacular. To make it remembered. Average per our taste palette. The prices went up to very significantly. No longer economical for a big family. The service upon being seated is good, they'll bring you coffee right away upon order. The only complaint I have is that they try very hard to upgrade the order and most of the time not mentioning the up charge, but you'll just see it in your bill. Their app is easy to use but be cautious opening up a reward, I suggest opening it when paying because it will disappear. Tried it more than a couple of times opening it at home and it did disappear when I reopened it at the location. The place is always crowded so plan a good 20-30 minute wait. The place is always clean and the elderly lady that does the table cleaning does a wonderful job. She does one thing and does it well.

Good food , great price and nice staff also close to my house and convenient.always get sat down right away

15 minutes in, no service, no coffee, nothing.

Got seated, sat for 15 minutes and wasn't greeted once, no one asked me for anything to drink, absolutely nothing. Ended up walking out nice and slow and not a single person working even noticed. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The kiddos wanted to come here to eat. I forgot to take pics of the food lol We ordered the following, total cost $70 with tip: - Bacon Obsession Cheeseburger - 7.5/10 - Kid's Meal Mac n' Cheese w/Fries - 7/10 - Kid's Meal Birthday Cake Pancake w/Fries - 7/10 - (2) Oreo Milkshakes - 7/10 - Strawberry Cheesecake - 6/10 Our server was attentive, patient, and friendly! The restaurant is clean and consistent with the Denny's decor & feel. Prices seemed to get much higher nowadays!

Always having a very hot coffee for breakfast with protein and sourdough toast! Sizzling hot sirloin steak- tenderly cooked, crunchy hash browns and two fresh over easy eggs filled me up for the whole day! Come and enjoy an early breakfast! Their parking is available - outstanding customer service delicious breakfast plenty to choose from menu! Delicious to fill your hungry tummy after waking up!

Club sandwich asked to hold the avocado which didn't happen amd you can see in the pic how much bacon. Once I shifted it together at the edge of the sandwich it was basically one bite. Turkey is ultra processed garbage. Place was clean enough.

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Richie's Real American Diner for 36 years. We started…read morecoming here when we were in high school, so we've been eating at Richie's longer than some of the employees have been alive. At this point, our booth should probably qualify for historical preservation. We stopped in this morning for breakfast, and unfortunately it was one of those visits that leaves you wondering if someone quietly swapped Richie's for a very convincing movie set. Our waitress was as busy as a one-legged waitress on a pogo stick during the Sunday breakfast rush. She had so many tables that when she finally reached ours, we ordered our drinks and breakfast in the same sentence because we weren't entirely confident we'd see her again before retirement. She worked incredibly hard, and none of what follows is a criticism of her. She simply wasn't given a fair chance to succeed. Frankly, she deserved backup, not more tables. Our food arrived quickly thanks to Octavio. Now...the hash browns. These poor potatoes have been on quite the emotional journey lately. Some mornings they appear to have been shown a picture of a grill from across the room. Other mornings they're cremated on one side to the point they could qualify as fossil fuel, while the other side remains suspiciously optimistic about ever being cooked. Breakfast has become a culinary game show called "Guess That Hash Brown!" Because our waitress never had a chance to circle back, we needed several things but eventually surrendered to our circumstances. After we finished eating, we waited...and waited...and finally asked a busser what our table number was so we could simply pay at the register ourselves. Then came the moment that perfectly summed up why this visit felt different. There are two registers. One cashier was busy helping another guest. Manuel was standing behind the other register, where he had been helping customers moments earlier, so naturally we waited there. Nothing. Thinking perhaps he simply hadn't seen us, we moved behind the customer at the other register. The instant we moved, another gentleman walked up to the register we had just left. Like he'd been waiting for his cue, Manuel immediately rang him up. I actually looked down to make sure I hadn't accidentally put on Harry Potter's invisibility cloak. After helping him, Manuel walked right past me and said, "Someone will be right with you." Well...yes. Eventually. But that wasn't really the point. This isn't the first time we've felt dismissed by Manuel. For years I've tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was shy. Maybe it was a communication issue. Maybe I was imagining it. I'm not imagining it. The remarkable thing is that we've never experienced this from anyone else at Richie's. Nearly every employee we've encountered over the last 36 years has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see us. Which is exactly why this hurts. Jack and Linda didn't build a restaurant. They built a family. People didn't just come for pancakes the size of hubcaps or biscuits that could solve most of life's problems. They came because Jack and Linda somehow made every customer feel like they mattered. Whether it was your first visit or your thousandth, you felt like you'd been invited into someone's home. That kind of hospitality can't be written into an employee handbook. It has to be lived. Lately, it feels like that beautiful spirit is quietly fading away. The building still says "Richie's." The menu still says "Richie's." The coffee still smells like Richie's. But the feeling... The feeling is slowly slipping away. It's as though with the passing of Jack and Linda, little pieces of the heart of Richie's have been leaving too. Not all at once--but one interaction, one understaffed morning, one inconsistent breakfast, and one missed opportunity to make someone feel welcome at a time. That's the truly disappointing part. Restaurants can fix hash browns. They can hire more servers. They can retrain managers. But preserving the culture that Jack and Linda spent decades creating--that's the real challenge. We don't come here because it's the closest diner. We come because, for 36 years, it felt like coming home. Lately...it feels like we're visiting the house after the family moved away. And after 36 years, that's a heartbreaking thing to watch.

I was expecting the egg yolk to be runny when cut into, but it turned out to be fully hard-boiled instead . The hollandaise had a nice flavor and good acidity, but it seemed slightly broken. That said, the service was awesome and very attentive, which I really appreciated. Not sure if I'd visit again though.

I finished the whole sandwich, and so did my brother. I also got an iced matcha latte and replaced the milk with oat milk, plus added vanilla syrup. The flavor was really good. It wasn't overly sweet, but just enough to enjoy while still tasting the matcha. Price-wise, $20 for a sandwich felt a little high, and our total came out to $57.60 for both of us. There were upcharges for the gluten-free bun and oat milk, plus we added two sides of ranch. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and flavor make up for it. We went during lunch and it was pretty busy, especially with an older crowd, but the service was still amazing. Our waitress checked on us often and was very attentive. Overall, this place is definitely a vibe, both inside and outside, and a great first-time experience. I wouldn't come here regularly because of the prices, but if I'm in the area again, especially for a doctor's appointment, I would definitely come back.

Last time, my fiancée and I came in on our engagement day to celebrate with brunch and were turned away at the door because we had iced coffees from next door. Real classy way to treat customers. Management never responded to that review. Shocker. So against my better judgment, I gave them another shot this morning. Here's what happened: I have a gluten allergy. I told my waitress. I specifically asked her to check whether one of the menu items was gluten-free -- which she did -- and I clearly asked for my toast on a separate plate so my wife could have it. Simple request. Clear communication. Done. Food came out with bread sitting directly on top of everything on my plate. When I pointed out the mistake and reminded them of my allergy, the person who delivered the food had the audacity to respond with an irritated "I guess we are going to have to remake the food." You messed up the order. The attitude is completely backwards. Then my waitress came back to tell me she "didn't know" about my allergy. I stated it twice and had her look something up because of it. Either she didn't write it down, or the kitchen ignored it entirely. Either way -- a gluten allergy isn't a preference, it's a health issue. First plate took 15 minutes. Remake took another 15. While sitting outside waiting, we overheard our waitress telling another table their order had also been messed up by the kitchen. So it's not just us. Let's be honest about what The Mill serves: basic breakfast. Eggs, bacon, potatoes. This isn't a Michelin-starred tasting menu. It's breakfast. And you still managed to get it wrong twice in one visit. The "breakfast pizza" I've tried before wasn't good either. And the apple chicken sausage? It tastes like wet dog food -- I don't know what's in that but it should not be on the menu. To their credit, they remade the food and our waitress was pleasant despite everything. The hal-o-penyo sauce was genuinely good. That's it. That's the entire list of positives. The real issue is systemic. The kitchen staff is either disorganized or resentful about their own mistakes. Communication between the floor and the kitchen is nonexistent. Management clearly doesn't care -- they didn't respond to my last review, and nothing has changed. A restaurant that can't handle allergy requests for a scrambled eggs order is not a restaurant that takes its customers seriously. I gave you two chances. You burned both. I won't be back, and I'll be making sure my friends and family know exactly what to expect here.

The girl on the front desk could have had a bit more enthusiasm and customer service panache, but the rest of the staff were friendly and bubbly, if not slightly rough around the edges. When I told the hostess we were celebrating a birthday in my family, she clearly grey-rocked me. Having said that, after telling the waitress that we were celebrating a birthday, a few staff came over later singing and dancing 'Happy Birthday' and placed a birthday 'cake hat' on my mom momentarily. That made her day! At one point a few staff also danced down one of the aisles of the restaurant which was immense fun. (I think they do this on a regular basis). The place was pretty busy on a Sunday lunch time, but we managed to get a booth right away. Just inside the door, there is a small 'wall shop' of a few British food items and souvenirs, including marmalade, HP sauce, Wine Gums, Heinz Beans and Annie's puddings.
