    Super Bird Sandwich

I don't often times like to review chains BUT when service is awesome, the food is consistent, and the prices or ambiance are on point - then I'll definitely come back to leave a review. Good food and good service does deserve recognition. This Dennys is tucked away off Wendy in Newbury Park near the freeway. You can see it easily from the freeway before you head down the grade into Camarillo but once on the Main Street it can be a little hard to find initially. They do have a red Dennys sign with an arrow that's on the Main Street so that does help a lot. Once you've found the Dennys there is lots of parking. This Dennys was remodeled inside a few years ago and looks great. Still the diner feel and decor, just cleaned up and modernized. I liked it for a chain interior. The restaurant was very clean and still had some Halloween decorations up, you can tell they had done a good job. The food here is consistent and tasty. It's Dennys, this isn't a 5 star meal but it always hits the spot and delivers on being their classic taste and menu. The food always comes out hot and made correct to order here. No issues. My go to is a super bird sandwich, hold the tomato, upgrade to seasoned fries and a side of ranch :) because I am sure you were dying to know! Lol. But really I just love that it's a feel good griddle sandwich that always hits the spot. The reason for 5 stars aside from being clean and the food good is that the staff here have always been nice. Very professional and helpful. I have had different servers here over the years and everyone is nice. Today they were equally as friendly and efficient. A good vibe all around, kind staff that get the job done. I prefer this Dennys to my local Camarillo one and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood for my classic meal here.

This resturant is off of Camino dos Rios, at the light of El pollo loco & across the street from target . As I stepped into to the restaurant, I noticed its super clean, very organized & attention to detail. All the workers were very friendly! We requested a booth and our Waitress Anayansi V.. Anayansi was super sweet, kind, caring, warm & friendly, super down to earth, very genuine! She took our orders which we got : super slam, classic cheese avocado burger with fries , Moon over my Hammy! All delicious! Their prices point were great! The amount of food portions was great too! Anayansi was on it , always asking us if we needed anything & while help other customers. She is your Super Star ! I would like to thank Denny's for our positive experience here. I would love to personally Thank Anayansi V. for giving my family a wonderful experience here, she was amazing!! I would like to say please be courteous & polite to these hard workers! I'll tell all my Family & Friend to come here! Thank you so much Denny's !!

The ambiance was nice. There is inside and outside seating. Decided to sit outside and brought my dog - she loved it. However, would say that for outside sitting, limit to 4 max for a table (5 ppl could be possible but you'd need to check with the restaurant). Ordered the TO Burritto and got a side of cottage cheese (there's plenty of side choices that I cannot remember - but there's a lot). The matcha latte was good. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like family. They go out of their way to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back again and again. The food is unreal. If you're a chili fan, this place is a MUST-visit -- they have FOUR different house-made chili options that increase in spice level, and each one is fantastic. And if you love French toast, do yourself a favor and order the flaked French toast... you will not regret it. Pro tip: try the off-menu chili tater tots at least once. Get the second-hottest chili and load up the toppings -- seriously incredible. The décor has a great local farm-to-table vibe, there's a full bar, and TVs to catch games while you eat. It somehow feels cozy and lively at the same time. Honestly, this might be the best-kept secret in the county -- but it shouldn't stay a secret. More people need Café ViVi in their lives. Go check it out!

We were ready for some hot breakfast, quickly looked at restaurants near me , got off the freeway at the next exit because "Hidden Cafe" popped up. Good reviews, 3 minutes away. We arrived at the same time as another party, they had 4. 3 adults 1 highchair. The rude , older lady with dark hair asked how many we had after them, than jumped back to that group and asked where they wanted to sit, etc. Sat them immediately. Outside. They got asked drinks immediately. Clearly she was overwhelmed two parties walked in at the same exact time. Now I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years, I was a waitress. I 100% understood why she may of been overwhelmed at that moment. 2 groups walking in at the same time, my group being a party of 6. 4 kids 2 adults. We were patient and waited for about 5 minutes before she sent the young busser kid out to seat us. I was holding my puppy in a dog carrier , I asked if we could sit outside. There is a sign on the door that says no dogs inside dining area. He said "no there is a table in the back at the inside patio" I pointed to the sign, said "I have a dog" he said "it's okay" so we walked in and sat down. We picked what we wanted to drink, we picked what we wanted to eat, all in our heads though. Because NOBODY ever came to us once we were sat down! My daughter was able to finish a whole coloring page before anyone even walked over to us. That's coloring in the lines and no scribbling. Not even a quick snotty "I'll be right with you" we didn't get 1 word. A bunch of ignores and glares. The server walked to an already established checked out table next to us to refill their drink, we didn't even have water let alone a hello. The dishwasher looked confused why we were the ONLY table in the whole entire place not being helped. The young boy who sat us, looked confused. We got up and left. The blonde server and the dark hair rude old lady , STILL didn't say a word when we walked past them to leave. Rest assured, they ran to where we sat to see what we left. Weird they all knew where the table was when we weren't sitting there. This crap of a service can stay hidden. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! I have NEVER been treated this way. I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant after I have sat down. We have never felt so uncomfortable, and unwelcomed in a restaurant. So thank you, hidden cafe for the most unexpected, rudest experience of our vacation.

Every pastry here is crafted with care and it shows in every bite. And the mocha coffee? That alone is worth the trip. Rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, it pairs beautifully with anything in the pastry case. The staff are warm and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional. One thing to keep in mind: this is not a drive-through.
