    Pesto cavatappi

Good food, good portions, friendly staff, good location off the freeway, nicely cooled by a strong AC on a hot day. We stopped by this place passing through. It was as good as the other locations I've been too. We had the choose two combos for pesto cavatappi with chopped salad and pasta carbonara with broccoli cheddar soup. They were tasty and portions are good.

Today i had a short stack of amazing pancakes it was warm i ordered on the phone the restaurant was nice and clean the cashier was friendly and helpful thank you for my delicious pancakes

This is somewhere you can expect good solid food. Ordered the Anaheim Panini without meat and the dragonfruit arnold palmer. I felt the panini was a little small, but it was delicious. The arnold palmer was pretty good, but tasted a little syrupy or artificial due to the dragonfruit. Overall though, for a normal comfort meal, you can't really go wrong with Corner Bakery.

This Corner Bakery is a few minutes away from the 101 freeway. This was the midpoint from the road trip the hubby and I were on so we stopped here for lunch. We placed our order at the counter with the courteous cashier. We found a table to sit at on a busy Sunday afternoon. I usually get the "choose any two" items so this time was the half club panini and Caesar salad. For my side, I chose mac n cheese. Food is 3.5 stars. The mac n cheese is good but could always use more cheese. Hubby had a tomato mozzarella half sandwich w/Caesar salad and tomato bisque soup. Also about 3.5 stars. A super kind gentleman came by later to bus our plates. We'll give then 3.5 stars but, the yelp 3.0 average as of now is fair.

Hello management, Food at Corner Bakery is well prepared and delicious. My only issue: every time we order takeout for 5 to 6 people one item is missing from our order or the entire order is not placed at all. We only find out our orders have not been prepared upon arrival for pick up. I think this would be a good thing to fixed. I will be back again. Best wishes and bon appétit.

The person at the register is very helpful. The cook could use some help. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to toast a bagel.

Some of the dishes are just amazing. The fluffy Souffle pancakes, the outrageous French Toast, and the shakes, wow.... Just so many wonderful options. My father loved the Beef Panang curry and Lava omelet. First time he has had a Lava Omelet. Runny egg that mixes in great with the heat and flavor of the Beef Panang. Wish we had some bread to soak up the juices on the plate. My mom really enjoyed the waffle. So many strawberries and inches of whipped cream. The Ceci Benedict was flavorful and cooked well. It looked so good. The Green Forest Omelet was really tasty, good garlic flavor, lots of veggies. And the potatoes were cooked well and just disappeared after I started on them. It was so good I almost considered extending our vacation so we could explore the menu further, but we'll definitely be back! We split a strawberry Dutch baby (they're huge!) with a side of sausage. There was a generous amount of fresh, sweet fruit and a light dusting of confectioner's sugar. Delicious! Ample accessible parking near the entrance, and while not a large restaurant, it's well laid out and easy to navigate with a wheelchair. The service was prompt and friendly. Some of the menu items -- like soufflé pancakes and Dutch babies -- take a little more time to prepare, but good food is well worth the wait. This is definitely worth it, and the surroundings are so pleasant you don't even notice the few extra minutes.

The keto quiche with almond flour crust was to die for!!! But I didn't have to die because it was ultra low carb and listed the net carb count on the menu, so it was a safe food for me. LI'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best things I've ever eaten at a cafe! It had only 6 g of net carbs and was also vegan and gluten-free. It was so good, everyone I was dining with wanted to order it. As a Type 1 diabetic who needs to carefully control my carb intake and know exactly how many carbs are in food so that I can take the appropriate amount of insulin, eating outside of my home often feels like a huge game of risk. So when I encounter a place that has keto items on the menu and lists the amount of net carbs so that I know how much insulin to take, I am actually overwhelmed with gratitude. When there's an item like this on a menu for anyone on a keto diet, of which there's so many of us for many different reasons, I feel like the people making that decision are showing a kindness and respect to the diversity of their customers' needs. It's the most welcoming thing a business can do. My dream is that one day, every cafe offers this. This quiche was so good, I would be willing to make the drive to Westlake Village just to eat it. The staff was also really kind, checking other sugar and carb counts for other dishes so that I can understand more about the menu. Everything at The Royal Egg was just all class. The food was piping hot when it came out, the coffee was delicious, I loved that everything was farm to table and grass fed, etc. I genuinely can't wait to go back!!

A few weeks ago, I finally made it in for dinner for the first time, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. I can't remember exactly which nights they serve dinner, but it's well worth planning a visit. My partner and I ordered several dishes to share, and every single one was a hit. We started with the burrata and prosciutto appetizer with pesto, which was incredible. Paired with a glass of wine, a cocktail, and the complimentary house-made salt and vinegar chips, it would make for a perfect happy hour on its own. For our entrees and sides, we ordered the half chicken, roasted carrots, and dinosaur kale salad. The chicken tasted like it had been slow-cooked all day--tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The roasted carrots were outstanding, and even the kale salad felt special and thoughtfully composed. To finish the meal, we shared the sticky toffee pudding, which was one of the most memorable desserts I've had in a long time. We also tried two mocktails, both of which were creative, delicious, and fun. Sunrose continues to impress me whether I'm there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We called ahead to put our names in. Big location, lots of seating. It gets loud and busy. Easy parking in a lot out front. We were a group of 12 and they amazingly were ok with splitting up our bills per couple. My bf and I split Brent's #13 (pastrami) and the Italian sub. Both come with sides - we got potato salad, fries, and onion rings. The portions are massive. The pastrami was really good and there was a nice amount of pastrami in the sandwich. Pickles and coleslaw come in the sandwich too. I'd say it's probably not great to save it as leftovers as the bread will likely soak up the liquid from the coleslaw. The steak fries were good. The Italian sub was huge! Hard to eat because the sandwich is stacked so tall. I added some Dijon mustard to the sandwich which was a nice addition and it was pretty good but I liked the pastrami more. I didn't actually love the onion rings that much. The breading they come in is really grainy and I didn't find them that tasty. Portions are huge so pace yourself; in hindsight we probably should have gotten one sandwich and maybe one smaller item. We both were in serious food comas all day after this meal. You pay up at the front when your waiter gives you the bill, right across from where they store epically large looking treats like massive slices of cake, cannolis, and cookies. I didn't send it back, I should have but everyone looked extremely overwhelmed. We were also moved to accommodate a bigger party. We were not asked. We were told. That rubbed us all the wrong way. I think this place may be my new favorite restaurant…read more My friend and I walked in on a Friday night at 6:30 PM, with no reservations. The place was packed, but I have to assume we got really lucky because we got seated right away at an open table near the front. Our server greeted us immediately and brought us waters for the table. We were overwhelmed initially by the menu options because everything sounded incredible. We asked our waitress what she recommended, and she said literally everything on the menu is amazing - nothing is bad and every dish is popular. So I was quite impressed to hear that. My friend and I decided to get the steak tartare, woodfire grilled octopus, fried gnocchi, and chicken liver pate. Every single dish was actually incredible. The chicken liver pate came with four slices of toast, some pickled vegetables and ground mustard. The pate was creamy, rich, slightly on the sweeter side, so it paired perfectly with the tang from the ground mustard & pickled vegetables. The woodfire grilled octopus was cooked perfectly. Seriously the best, freshest octopus I've ever had! It wasn't chewy or fishy at all. The texture was absolutely perfect. It was very easy to cut into and juicy. It was paired perfectly with the aïoli as well. The steak tartare was extremely fresh. One of the things that I hate about steak tartare at restaurants sometimes is it will start to look brown from the meat oxidizing so it doesn't always look as appetizing, but this tartare was still had that vibrant red color as if they had just cut the meat. Lastly, the fried gnocchi was amazing. It's the first time I've ever had a dish with fried gnocchi. They paired it with a cream sauce that was absolutely delicious. I wish I remembered what was in it, but it was so good. I wanted to drink that sauce lol. Love how the gnocchi was also perfectly seared, had no lumps, and basically melts in your mouth. Overall, loved the ambience of this place as well. It's very hip. trendy. Definitely a louder environment but perfect for a weekend night out to enjoy great food. I would recommend making reservations. I think my friend and I probably just got lucky because we went a little bit earlier on a Friday night. Also wanna mention all of the wait staff was amazing. Food was served very quickly and we had no issues with any of our orders. I seriously cannot wait to come back here and try every single thing on the menu!
