The hostess was about to set me and my girlfriend down when someone came from out the back and said we need to wear mask. I found it weird the hostess allowed me and my girlfriend to walk-in and come close to sitting down before another individual had an objection that worked there. I reminded the lady i'm from Indiana which is a state that doesn't wear mask and it is not enforced so I don't have one obviously. But yet it is at the discretion of the business. They didn't have mask there for me to purchase. So the lady said we would have to leave. As I was leaving I looked over at a couple that were sitting down waiting on their food and they did not have on a mask. A question I don't get is why was I told to wear a mask but the other people weren't wearing theirs and what's the point of loosing a customer permanently and demand they must wear a mask when in order to eat you must take off the mask. I'm currently at the Chillis down the street. I'm writing this waiting on my food and the hostess have on mask and some of the customers do and don't have on mask. A business gained my business and money and a business lost money and a customer. Food sucked today! $60 for what!!! We waited 20 minutes and I asked for something to drink. Then the waiter came 5 minutes later saying he'll be back. Another 10 minutes and we finally ordered. The food was cold and not good. My kids are less than 10% of what they ordered. So when the $60 bill came, my face told it all. I said I'll pay because we did get served but I'll never stop at this Denny's again! Next time I make a trip to Aurora, I'll pick a different spot to eat at OR stay Chicagobound only!!! read more

I enjoy Denny's food and this restaurant has very good food. But the reason I am writing this message to let everyone know that this location has a group of employees that go beyond their normal duties. I was at the restaurant on 04/05/2017 around 10pm having a meeting. At the conclusions of the meeting I paid the bill and left. The next morning I was looking for my black bag it was gone (with 325 in cash ) in it . Saturday the 27th, I had decided to go for lunch with my family and a friend. I had not been to Denny's in months and finally had the time. Soon as we were seated we heard all the servers/waitresses laughing loudly. We ordered our drinks and when my friend ordered tea the waiter told him they ran out of honey. Strike one for me. We eventually ordered, my bf and me had wanted the zesty nachos. Unfortunately for us they ran out of the meat, waiter asked if we wanted to substitute chicken. Of course not. Strike two. Our orders arrived and they did not look fresh. My daughters spaghetti looked very dry. Our seasoned fries were not hot at all, not even warm. My club sandwich was very plain no taste. Strike three four and five. I had ordered soup and it never came. Until the waiter brought us the bill and finally noticed the missing soup. Strike seven. He had taken the soup off the bill and gave it to us to take home. Unfortunately for him the soup didnt even look like soup it was more like a mashed potatoes texture. My first time ever feeling disappointed, and will not be going back. Came in last week for dinner. Terrible service. We were seated in a table that was completely wobbly and left there without ever having someone come and asked why we were still standing instead of sitting. When I asked for someone to help us they told me to hold on and took another five or so minutes before someone ever came to ask what they can help with. When I asked to be moved to another table they were able to do that. I didn't see a manager on site, the place looks dirty and the service was absolutely terrible. It took 25 minutes to get a drink order and another 20 or so to get our food. Once our food had arrived no one stopped by to ask if we needed anything or how anything was. The food was very disappointing. I came out of work late, had a terrible day, and no other places were open. Maybe it was my tie, vest and newly polished shoes but I was sat down with half a greeting, "Hi, here we are." Cold greeting from the start. The place was nearly empty. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and coffee. My waiter walked away without asking how I wanted my burger cooked. I wasn't angry or anything. I'm very patient. My waiter didn't write down my order and re-asked me three times how/what I wanted in my order. I asked to be moved to another table because the couple behind me were arguing making me feel uncomfortable. They moved me, no problem. My burger was bland, cooked to shredded bits of gray matter reminiscent of a sci-fi movie I saw a week ago on tv where a big alien blob, slowly after being shot by a laser beam, turned into ashes. It tasted like fat and comic book paper. My fries looked like crinkled old lady fingers recently hacked at a suspicious butcher shop, and tasted like nothing. Texture-wise, had I shook my plate my fries would have fallen off the table like yellow Lego pieces. I was half-way through my meal and wanted to leave. My waiter, who never checked on me once, asked how my food was. I had my hand on my head and said in a somewhat raspy voice..actually, I think I just let out a sigh and made my way to the register. I eat here about once a month. The food is decent and service is good. When I walk in the door it smells like urine. I have a really good sense of smell. My boyfriend never smells the urine but I do. I am usually super cranky hungry like the snickers commercial and still eat here. Please Dennys fix your urine smellyness!! read more

The customer service at this location is terrible. I was served RAW sausage and when I talked to the manager, she proceeded to give me attitude. She offered me $1 off my tab of $17. I had sent my entire meal back. She argued with me that my whole meal was eaten. I finally got my meal free so she could move on to the next customer. The guest who paid right before me had the same issue. The manager insisted that the meat was pre cooked. It was completely pink in the middle. I am 6 months pregnant and have started to get sick.
