UPDATE: Been a while since I dined here, food is still good, prices have increased, service is still great. I will say value for money has taken a hit, brunch for 2 with no alcohol was $53.86... ouch. Used to be under $40... besides that. Everything was still solid, my only knock was the amount of potatoes with my meal, would've loved another egg, toast or more meat, but I get it all those are expensive and potatoes are still cheap. Overall, still a great breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. Just not as special as it was 5-7 years ago. And it's not exactly their fault, it's the economy we are currently living in.

I am a semi-regular diner from the time Alexander's opened in Saint Charles. This morning I was very pleased to see and enjoy Gindos Hot Pepper Sauce once again. It had been absent for some time. It is superior to the common brand sauce made with similar peppers. Beyond the quality, Gindos is locally made, in Saint Charles, in walking distance to Alexander's and Rookies across the street. As much as consumers support local business, local businesses should support each other.

Carnitas pork tacos. Outstanding! As always service is exceptional as well. Thanks Alexis!

We went for a late breakfast. The service was fantastic, Thanks Cristina! My carnitas breakfast tacos were full of pork, egg, cheese etc.. I had a few exceptions and replacements and they were made just as I had asked. Kudos to the cooks and kitchen staff. The restaurant had a warm ambience feeling, along with a nice temperature, which is needed in the Midwest winters. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable Christmas Eve meal! Linda G

Delicious brunch, cozy atmosphere, and fantastic service. We came around 12:30 pm and were seated immediately, very attentive service without feeling rushed. The warm apple cider was so comforting, and the mimosa flight (pineapple, blackberry, strawberry, and classic) was excellent. Steak Huevos Rancheros was tender and flavorful, and the Flapjack breakfast was very filling. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and absolutely worth the drive from Chicago. We'll be back just for brunch!

This place was great! It's like an upgraded version of Panera vibes, and the breakfast is fantastic. Good choices for everyone in the family. We found our breakfast place!

Food is awesome! Very generous meal sizes. Came by once after a business trip and have been back 3 times since in 2 weeks! Great.

Love the place, the service and the food. A strong option for a local breakfast restaurant.

Food was very good, but the server (Chloe) was excellent!! Some of if not the best service we've experienced at any restaurant.

The previous time I came was post-comedy show, just for drinks, and the 3 of us all enjoyed our drinks then, as well. We were greeted by Ian our server immediately which was very nice. We noticed they have Happy Hour Tues-Fri from 4-6pm so we took advantage of their half off cocktails and a few food specials. I had the Wisconsin Old Fashion and my wife had the Poli Old Fashion which was tequila based. Both were fantastic! We started with an order of their Street Corn Deviled Eggs which were amazing..super creamy. They do have a GF menu so my wife had a bowl of their homemade chili and I had their Italian Beef Bao trio. Both were delicious and very meaty. They have an extension whiskey/bourbon list plus their burgers looked amazing. We will definitely be back!

There is ample lighting and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The food is BBQ and they have a little bit of everything to offer. That is great, but makes it hard to choose what you want! We certainly had that problem but ultimately were very happy with our meals. They pretty much cover all the bases as far as BBQ and the sides. The flavors were very tasty! Having one in Glen Ellyn won't have us running back to this location but that is only on account of circumstance.

These days the price hikes are expected, nothing new, and the day Nobel started to impose a penalty for paying via credit card (which initially they were ALSO taxing, and at a rate no less that was higher than Geneva's local tax percentage) was when I started only paying with cash. Hey, I like(d) their food and love(d) their employees, I'm willing to pay out the nose and jump through hoops for the experience. I'll admit, I went from eating there almost every day during Covid to maybe once a month, but when my family asks me where we should go out, Nobel is ALWAYS the first that comes to mind. Within the past week I've visiting Nobel for the last time. Prices notably up again, check. Many new employees, slower service, and uh oh, what's this, the food quality is in the toilet? Couple that with another service by Kelli and her terrible attitude, and things aren't looking great. Portions. Like everywhere else, as I said, at Nobel the prices are up and portions are down. My wife's favorite though, their lobster roll (formerly one of the best I've ever had in the United States, and I travel along the east coast quite a bit), has taken a hit harder than anything else on their menu from what I can ascertain. $31 now, which isn't new, it's been $31 since the beginning of 2026 from what I can remember, but $31 and it's probably 30% smaller than it used to be. For $31 you get a lobster roll that literally looks like a piece of Texas toast folded in half now, a 30% smaller portion of lobster, and if by some off chance you order the side salad, the side salad is also smaller. I can go on about all of the other cuts that are evident, but the $31 lobster roll is about the best display of the dismal direction Nobel House is headed. Sad... Nobel House, you'll be missed.

Their preorder system is incredibly smooth, though it does require a bit of planning since you need to order at least a day in advance, and they are closed on Mondays. I scheduled an order on a Friday for a Tuesday morning pickup. I picked up a dozen GF donuts and a half-dozen chocolate chip cookies, and both were fantastic. They offer a ton of different donut flavors, though the ordering system limits you to choosing three varieties per dozen. I went with the banana bread, chocolate with chocolate icing and the brown sugar with chocolate icing, and they did not disappoint. The cookies were just as impressive, hitting that perfect texture without any of the dryness you sometimes find in gluten-free baking. The shop itself is super cute and perfectly set up for a quick visit. All the preordered to-go items are neatly laid out on a cabinet for a seamless pickup. If you have some extra time, they also have drinks and food you can order at the counter, a shared parking lot that makes stopping by a breeze, and a nice outdoor seating area.
