The counter service was a great bonus and gave the place that classic diner feel. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The corned beef hash was some of the best we've had, the Western omelette was loaded with fresh ingredients, and the meat lovers skillet was hearty, packed with bacon, sausage, ham, and plenty of flavor. Every plate came out hot, the portions were generous, and everything was cooked just right. Friendly service, great food, and a classic diner atmosphere. If you're in the Oak Creek area, whether you're a local or just passing through like we were, this place is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

This is a solid breakfast spot and every table was in service towards the end of our meals. We had a chili cheese omelette and the country fried steak breakfast. I had the country fried steak this time but I did have the chili cheese omelette on my last visit and I didn't snap any pictures because a customer had a medical emergency and an ambulance and fire truck came to the restaurant but I remember liking it. The decor is nothing fancy but it's not a dive with over priced omelets like my breakfast experience, look at my last review. The country fried steak was noticeably bigger than most places around town except for NA cafe which is a real country steak and I just expected a frozen restaurant supply quality. It was golden brown with that commercial sausage gravy which is the norm for 99% of breakfast restaurants around town so I'm not going to knock them on that because I'm a country fried steak guy all my life. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. The extra crispy hash browns were cooked perfectly and the sourdough toast was better than the average restaurant where you couldn't tell if it was white or sourdough with that chew. Overall it's a solid breakfast spot with all my visits and at $13 it's $9 cheaper than my last breakfast experience at a dive restaurant and hits the spot.

So: if you're someone like me. You either have emetophobia (a crippling fear of vomit) or you're a trucker whos trying to avoid getting sick... here's how the night went. I was in the bathroom washing up and an (anonymous source) walked in. I asked "hey. Do you eat there?" The source gave me a head shake, pointed at one of the stalls and said "we just had someone throw up from them." Do with this information what you will. It might be helpful. This is not the Restaurant for travelers it is for locals and friends. Went in for Breakfast the waitress saw when I entered and Sat at the counter for a while two locals came in and she waited on them THAT MAKES DENNY'S look bad. While sitting there I watch that same waitress pick up a dirty cup and return it with the clean cups, in my opinion that redhead waitress is racist and should be FIRED. The foundation of 5-star rating is purely based off the juxtaposition of this Denny's establishment compared to the Denny's on Howell Avenue, right across the way of the General Mitchel International Airport of Milwaukee. My second thought is this doesn't look like an $11 cheeseburger and more like an average fast food cheeseburger with frys, nothing pub like at all. Sure enough the pub cheeseburger and frys was very average and over priced for what you get I thought considering a real awesome pub cheeseburger cost around the same. My final thought is if your going to put out a menu which leads me to choose an item over everything else than serve me that DAM dish as it's listed because that's what I wanted and don't just make what ever you want.

Told it would be about a 10 minute wait, then offered seats at the bar instead, which we took. Drinks came in actual glassware, not plastic. I had a Coke product, my husband had fresh squeezed OJ. They also offer coffee drinks, mimosas, and tap beers. We ordered the breakfast tacos and the cheddar chive biscuit sandwich. The sandwich came with a side of roasted potatoes, not listed on the menu. Both entrees came with scrambled eggs that were more rubbery than fluffy, though the flavor throughout the meal was good. Service was friendly across the board. The manager, our server, and the food runner all had good attitudes. Worth noting: this restaurant offers a cash price and a credit price, and rounds cash payments. We paid with exact change plus paper money and got 98 cents back. Not clearly explained up front. We'll give this place another visit, ideally during a slower time to see how the kitchen handles a lighter pace.
