Ordered door dash and received the burgers within the time frame, I was missing 3 side items with the burgers. The bags were sealed so the door dash driver had no way of knowing. I attempted to call the restaurant and asked over 7 times in a row, I mashed the number to speak to a store manager, someone picked up and immediately hung up. Door dash issued a partial refund but in my opinion, Denny's should be reimbursing me for their missing part of the order. Worst experience at a restaurant in all of my life. The host and original waitress were both high on drugs and took 10 minutes to get out drink order of 2 waters out. The next waitress that came to mine and another customors table looked beat down and had to pick up for all of the slack. My food (which was basic shit) took an hour and a half before I flipped out and said something. I then got the 2 slices of bacon that were the extra (and supposed to go on my sandwich) and my fiance's cold food. When mine came up 20 minutes later, it was missing the bacon...which I paid extra for the 2 stips that came out separate. It's Denny's so if you've been to one....... Anyway I always go late at night 12 one 2 o'clock in the morning, I'm a night owl. But when I do I always have a pleasant experience. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and they don't hover over you but do refill your drinks at the appropriate times. I've never had a problem with the food, and I love the milkshakes which usually come with a little extra milkshake on the side, in a separate can cup. Let me start by saying I hate writing about and describing a bad service provided by a business. With that said let me describe what transpired at this location tonight. I arrived with my girlfriend at around 11:30. When we entered the establishment we were handed menus and to seat ourselves which we did. It took a while for our "server" to even acknowledge us so I decided to start timing timing our experience. 15 minutes later, when she finally arrived to take our drink order, I received a phone call and I excused myself and told my girlfriend to order a water for me. For a bit of context my job requires me to answer phone calls 24/7 and I am more than happy to do so. I took care of the issue that was happening and when I arrived back at the table my girlfriend informed me that the server left without taking the drink order stating she would be back in just a minute to do so. Given the 15 minute wait up to this point I'm a bit disappointed but I decide to give her the benefit of the doubt. With the timer still going out of sight I sit and I wait for any acknowledgement from her. My girlfriend then points out that waiter that was meant to be helping us is taking the order of someone that arrived after us. Not the drink order, but the main course order as their drinks were clearly visible. I then pull out the timer and honestly I can't say I was shocked at the time that had passed. 32 minutes from the initial start of the timer. Approximately 5 minutes after she comes back up to our table and says she completely forgot about us and tries to apologize but by this point I am too upset to speak or talk rationally. I gather my belongings and look at my girlfriend and she knows what I am thinking. We both walk out of the restaurant and as of this point I am pretty sure we both plan on never returning. read more

Our server (Kimberly) was amazing, friendly, patient and prompt. The manager was in, he was good with the staff, kept everything running smoothly, acted as a floater and was friendly. The building was obviously old (this is most evident in the restroom) and they were pretty busy, the floor could have used a going over but any minor aesthetics were quickly forgotten in light of the friendliness of the staff. As a Vet we truly appreciated the "free" breakfast on Veterans Day around 9 AM. Unfortunately the dining experience was less than appreciative. The grits must have been cooked by a heart patient because they had zero salt in them for seasoning. I can overlook that because it is on the table but standard cooking dictates that you do add some. I eat very little salt myself but still the taste of corn that has been soaked in lye does need a smidgen of seasoning. The big problem I had were the pancakes. Instead of fluffy and tender I got thin and tough. It's like Fluffy had been run over and smooshed but not enough times to be tenderized if you know what I mean. And that was just the top one. Imagine when I lifted the top cake to butter my lower one and found a mini-me hiding below it. It was literally half the size of the other. I knew exactly what had happened. First the dispenser was running out of batter. Instead of refilling it, the cook added water to stretch it--hence the tough, over-mixed, thin top cake. Then a second plop was dispensed still not having enough batter. But this one emptied the container thus forming the midget. Any good cook would have corrected the situation by making good on the order. But this was no good cook. They just covered it up with crappy product hiding the error and shipped it out anyway. I can understand being busy and rushed but I can't understand serving garbage with an attitude of indifference especially to paying customers in any capacity. My partner's whole grain cakes came out in perfect size and texture. So were our eggs. Her fruit salad was generous. Water and coffee never refilled, the syrup dispenser was given to our party of four at ¼ full. The food did not arrive as ordered together and she had to return with someone else's breakfast to retrieve ours. I am a chef. I know busy. But quality is always king. Get it right and customers return. A rush can happen on any day in any season. Be prepared, appreciate your customers, and be mindful. Then you can ensure a return business. read more

I would like to leave a review, considering we eat at this location regularly. The service and cuisine is usually fair, yet today it was absolutely inadequate. I ordered the Grand Slam Slugger first, I chose grits in alternative to hash-browns with the meal and they tasted as though they were cooked from "instant grits" and ran through hot water, they were very gritty. The pancakes were very small but not fluffy, as they should be, and also quite cold. The meal in general was very greasy and overcooked. I ordered the eggs over medium, yet they were overcooked as well. Even the sausage that came with the meal was dried out. The tea that I ordered as a refreshment for instance tasted like it was made the night before. We attempted to get in contact with the manager of the business but was only told by workers, including who in which took our order, that the manager would only inquire to "go somewhere else". This Denny's is horrible. 20 minute wait in between waitress visits to my table, appetizer was cold so had to send it back, instead of cooking the cheese sticks and queso again she told me she "nuked em".(never tell a customer that even if you really did) tasted terrible still after microwave. My country fried steak came out and was also cold and had no taste. The macaroni and cheese and corn were really tasty but not hot at all. I don't know if it was something going on that night or what but it was impossible for them to bring me hot food. So I'm a visitor here in Biloxi, MS. We stopped for breakfast here at Denny's. The service was horrible. Waited for our waitress for 10-15 minutes to come exchange our drinks because the sweet tea tasted like it had been left out for days. After being fed up with waiting I had to take our cups to another waitress and let her know. She didn't keep our cups refilled for any reason after asking her when she finally decided to check on us. Well I asked her to please refill my cup. 10 minutes later she comes back with our check but not drink. Asked her again to please bring me another drink. FINALLY she brought me more to drink. Service is awful!! We used to visit Denny's every Tuesday in Phoenix because my children loved it. After moving here the Ocean Springs Denny's is the only one near us so we visit it occasionally. Probably 10 times in 3 years. Each times the server spends 15-30 mins before taking our drink orders and at least another 20 mins before our order. We always wait at least 45-60 mins to get our food. Some times it's been cold. We are highly disappointed in how this Denny's is ran. read more

The first time I went to this Denny's about 12 years ago the service was horrible. Then went about 8 years ago and the service was still horrible. Guess about 5 or 6 years ago we was in the mood for Denny's and went to this location again. OMG ....... how can a business stay up and running. Swore I would never go there again. It took 1 1/2 hours to get our food. I have never been back but my husband went there last week for for the Grand Slam. Again he said it took awhile to get his food. Grand Slam is 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 eggs, and pancakes. He said when they finally brought his food he was stunned! He said he had 2 eggs, pancakes, 1 sausage link, and the piece of bacon they brought him was about 3 inches long. They did bring the rest of his food but come on. The cook should have known better and the waitress should have noticed ........ unless she ate 1 1/2 pieces of bacon and a sausage link before she brought it to the table. Come on PEOPLE get it together. Denny's is a great place to eat!! But if you want Denny's and don't want to spend at least 2 - 3 hours for a meal don't go to this Denny's.
