This is a what a 5* place looks like!…read more On account of how hot Biloxi is right now Our tried and true place wasn't going to cut it. So I looked up seafood restaurants not outside . This one had good reviews and so We tried it. Honestly I wished I would have came here for my birthday which was the day before! It blows The Den out of the water at Treasure Bay! The vibe is classier, the service was impeccable, and the food was 10x better. We started with some drinks: A Apple caramel martini for my son, a pink pearl martini for me, and a pineapple colada for my hubbie. They were are nice drinks. Next for apps hubbie got an oyster sampler which included oyster Rockefeller, Florentine, and Bienville oysters . He also got a dozen raw . I got fried green tomatoes with crab cakes between them. I enjoyed the tomatoes. The crab cakes were too wet for my liking but it's a personal preference only. The taste was good. For entrees I got a seafood sampler which included fried oysters, hush puppies, fried shrimp, and I think catfish. It was exactly what I was hankering for. We got some boudin balls. They were ok . My son got the brunch burger with an egg! For dessert a cinnamon roll bread pudding for my son and a banana foster cheesecake for my husband and I to share. We went up the stairs there is a bathroom up there. Be careful going down if you have had a few drinks lol. Everyone was friendly. We are so glad We found this place off the main strip . Honestly the prices are comparable to anywhere else . If you are looking for a place quiet or even somewhere special to celebrate a birthday or even an anniversary . This place would be a good choice. I suggest going as soon as they open or early evening. After 5 I bet the place would be getting packed. By the way upstairs it feels like you are in Nola . It just has this vibe. Nothing but good things to say about this place and We are definitely coming back possibly the fall!!

Luckily it wasn't too busy and we were seated within 5 minutes. Hostess was organized and got everyone taken care of quickly. Started with a cocktail and Rockefeller oysters. The crème brûlée mojito tasted like a sweet caramel latte--definitely on the sweeter side. The oysters were delicious (hard to go wrong there). For mains, I devoured the linguine--loved the mushrooms in the sauce, super flavorful. We also shared the Brussels sprouts, which we've had before and loved, but this time they were pretty soggy and overly sauced, with the balsamic a bit overpowering. Shoutout to Maria, our server--she was phenomenal. Super attentive, guest-focused, and genuinely on top of everything without being intrusive. She made sure every table around us was taken care of, checked in at the right times, and even noticed we barely touched the Brussels. After we shared our feedback, she kindly removed them from the bill. Maria is also just effortlessly warm and personable--made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. Thank you, Maria! (: Overall, solid service, tasty drinks and food, and a perfect spot for date night.

Long story short we weren't seated until about 7:15 and a couple diners who also had 6;30 reservations were seated well before us. We ordered the Coraline's salad and shrimp cocktail, corn bread and an Old Poetic cocktail. We did get a table where one person could see the water outside but that was it. The food was okay, Hannah was a very busy but good server. If we ever go back to Biloxi we'd find another place to eat, even if we go to the casino to gamble.

This was my first visit to Crave, and it's a nice setup with a few different eateries. I went for their "Crabster," a lobster roll with some crab and a special sauce. The price was $38, which I'd already expected, and I felt it was a pretty fair one-time splurge. The lobster was good--definitely a solid portion, though not the most life-changing bite I've ever had. It came with a side of potato chips, which.... eh. Overall, it was a good experience--something fun to try, especially if you haven't had a lobster roll before. The food hall itself didn't completely wow me, but it was a nice spot. I'd give the lobster roll 4 stars--worth a visit, but probably not a frequent go-to for me. The service was friendly...

Salty Jax Seafood is not a restaurant but a food truck, and part of a wonderful growing trend…read morearound the MS Gulf Coast. The easiest way to find them is to follow their Facebook page for locations, which vary weekly. Salty Jax is most famous for their lobster rolls, because few other places down here even offer such a thing. They are quite expensive (upper $20 range, depending on market price) but for obvious reasons since we don't have lobsters out in the Gulf. I always go with the Cajun roll because it is doused in garlic butter for a wonderful kick of flavor. They recently advertised that you can now get lump crab meat added to your roll, and I can't wait to try it! You can also get extra lobster meat so you get a stacked lump of seafood. Be sure to grab some extra napkins because you'll need it. I've been to Maine twice and had plenty of lobster rolls up there, and Salty Jax can hang with the best of them. They give you a roll stuffed with meat and it is quite filling. The owners are local and super friendly, and I don't mind paying for this gourmet premium because of that. If lobster isn't your thing, I highly recommend their fried shrimp basket when they have it on the menu. It's some of the best fried shrimp I have had, and they are plump and crispy. I'd love to see them eventually open a full blown restaurant one day.
