Me and my husband went here to have breakfast last week and the waitress was not attentive he had a very serious face and looked like he wanted us to rush and order. He never came and see hiw we were doing or if we wanted refills. When we were done eating my husband went to the car since our baby had started to get a bit fussy, I then asked for a box and the waitress said yes when I asked if I could have a box, he went to take another order and I sat there waiting for a box for a while and it never came, I then got up and asked the girl in the front register for a box and she asked the manager to give me the box and to charge me. I then asked her if I could buy two cupcake cups they have for kids and she gave me empty cups without the drinks I then payed and the manager asked if I was leaving a tip I was looking for cash and told her that I didnt know since the service was really bad as I was looking for cash she wasnt patient and gave me my receipt and all she said was oh we got a little busy. I wasnt pleased at all. I walked out with my empty cups very upset. I payed $2 for each cup and according to their menu it says cupcake cup with drink $1.99. What a rip off. My favorite Denny's for early morning and late night friendly employees . I usually get the build your own sampler or some kinda pancakes breakfast when my sweet tooth is active. They have a bar which is a plus if you come here at night the bartenders are really nice not sure if Julie still work here but she is a sweetheart! If I could place 0 stars I would! I placed a To-Go order that left me dissatisfied they weren't even busy when I arrived! Bourbon Chicken Skillet had no Bourbon sauce what's the point in that!? Also ordered a Country Fried Steak, egg whites were disgusting not even cooked looked like they were warmed up and splattered on top! Redskin potatoes were soggy with no flavor at all! Went during a late Saturday night, they were so busy and only had a few workers. They served half of our table and 30 mins later the next half. Food was cold and the manager was rude. No apologies from them after complaining, the manager said to us "let me get that out of your way and cancel the order were just to busy." So unprofessional! read more

Amazing!!!! Denny's is one of me and my fiancées favorite places and to walk in to see a bar was Heaven!!! The food was really good and the waitress was very attentive. I would have to cons eroded this place is a unorganized,unprofessional and complete dire guard to what customer service stands for. The wait time to be seated was not only the problem, but the fact that the people who had been waiting before me walked out, when there were plenty of seats available which is completely unacceptable; as I was standing there,still, the Manager who doesn't wear a name tag which I can see why after I hear tell one of her employee that "she doesn't know why those customers are looking at her with aggression; do they think I'm making them wait on purpose in a sarcastic tone obviously. Maybe if she would explained the situation to the people waiting they would be so bothered, but instead she relays " I'll be with you guys right now" If this is the managers attitude I can only imagine how they prepare your food. read more

I give one star because I don't think you can leave zero. We went on Sunday morning around 8:30 and it was not busy at all, maybe 8 - 10 people inside. We waited 10 minutes, were seen waiting by several employees and ignored. When we talked about going somewhere else and started to leave, the "hostess" finally approached us. You can never be low cost and good. People are friendly but check all your meats as they can be undercooked and half raw. Cook will gladly redo it again for you but you will lose time. Smoothies are made out of mix - this is not where you get real banana and strawberries, all is preservatives and not fresh. Eggs are OK, so for breakfast this place is good. They also know how to make coffee and tea and can make pancakes. I would not however recommend to do takeout - you may be up for a surprise. read more

I've tried giving this location a chance time and time again.... yet they always disappoint me. There's only about 4 tables with people on them and we still had to waited to be seated... the food takes a lifetime and forget about getting a refill... you literally need to go fill it yourselves. I stopped by this restaurant on May 1st on my way back from Arizona to Turlock. Parking lot was a little awkward, as you need to drive around the restaurant to park. The bar was interesting to see but it didn't make up for the food we received. Waiter was a nice Asian man, but the food made me and my kid sick. Upon calling the number on the receipt to let Dennys know about the problem with the food, I received a call from the manager of the Ontario Dennys. She seemed genuinely concerned and polite but could not assist me as the issue was food related. The incident was forwarded to the corporate office. The corporate office was as cold and robotic as they come. Cindy the service representative assigned to my issue calls me on my home phone after I specifically asked to be contacted on my mobile. Once I got a hold of Cindy, there was no sympathy or apology, just questions. What did you order? Are you sure it was caused by our food? Did you see a doctor? Can we see his conclusion? What is your address? First of all, if you get sick from food, it depends on the severity of the illness and whether it persists for more than 24hrs. Most people don't go to the ER for vomiting a few times, they try to let it run its course first. I had chills, a fever and vomited several time before feeling better. Here is what we ordered, see if there is a pattern: Wife: Cold Turkey Club with fries Kid 1: Mac n Cheese with gold fish crackers Kid 2: Cheeseburger with gold fish crackers (sick) Me: Avocado Grilled Chicken Salad (sick) My guess is the food cooked on the grill was some how contaminated. Own up to your mistakes Denny's, I get stuff happens but ignoring the issue and throwing out $20 gift cards don't cut it. A refund of my bill would have been more acceptable with an apology. If I could give this place 1/2 a star I would. I shouldn't expect much from Denny's but atleast bring me hot food. We were one of 4 tables sat and it took 15min just to get our waitress to notice us, which had an attitude the entire time mind you, & another 30 min just to get our food which didn't even come out all together. Once our food was down half of each plate was cold and my American slam didn't even have toast nor did our server bring it to me after I asked about it. My friend got a skillet which came with half the amount of food it was supposed to which then got taken away once we complained and all they did was put more potatoes on it? My friends eggs were also cold and when brought new ones they were completely raw. The manager even had the nerve to say that some people like them that way?! My friends and I were at Dennys last night around 9-11pm. My friend ordered an "All you can eat pancakes " she was full so she shared her left overs with her boyfriend. Not the server but the actual "Manager" comes up to us tells us that he has to pay if he wants to eat some.. and said that only the person who orders the "All you can eat pancakes " is allowed to eat and that if we wanted some that we had to order another one. We did not know about this and now we understood and I respect that but next time they should let us know ahead of time.. This man has very bad customer service. He was very rude you can tell he does not like his job at all. No smile no nothing, also we could hear him screaming at his servers from the back. In my opinion I don't think he should be a manager based on his lack of customer service.. he made us feel uncomfortable we don't even know if we want to come back. His servers have better customer service than he has. We often go to this Denny's and we love the customer service there but I can't believe the manager out of all people could have such attitude towards his own customers.
