Denny's is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in a mood for some yummy pancakes or breakfast food. I love their other dishes as well and they are always trying to innovate, by bringing different dishes all the time. I really like their rewards program as well, have a 20% discount or have a few pancakes for free is always good. read more

Two stars for the poor waitress today, otherwise it'd be zero. 75% of customers were in the lobby and freezing outside while only 25% of the diner was seated! One waitress and one manager/busboy (who looked to be 16) ran the entire front of house on Christmas Day. This was a family present from my children, upon request. Total failure. We arrived at 3:30 pm, was seated around 4:15 and served stone-cold food after 5pm. Our bill was over $100 and some items were double charged, while other items never arrived. We had to "negotiate" to 15% off with the teenage "manager" for nuked "reheated" plates (which was gross) and kids who ate cold meals because they were too hungry to care. At least invite your guests to sit at a booth, out of the cold, with hot coffee/chocolate and enjoy time with the family. Rather than sitting outside in the freezing cold, with young children, and an empty diner!!! Kudos to our waitress who did her very best holding it all together. I get its Christmas day, but either close it or staff it accordingly for this high-revenue holiday. read more

We got served by a pregnant lady, it was really bad, we waited over 1 hour to get our food and drinks, the food recently has gotten greasier and less quality. Very stingy with napkins and we paid 80 bucks just for our orders to be wrong. Terrible visit. Will not be going back to this location. EVER. 5 hungry folks + not a lot open at 11pm in Orem = Denny's run. Good idea? Not for this evening. It was not busy in the restaurant when we got there. Lots of tables open and as soon as the cashier finished ringing up the patrons before us, we were seated. I think the waiter's name was Tristan, but I could be wrong. He didn't say his name loud enough for me to hear, but he's the Caucasian guy with blonde hair and tattoos, no glasses. The cashier at the end of the night didn't give us our receipt back so I wouldn't have that to reference to. He took our order, supposedly put it in and didn't come back to check on us until the food came. He stood at one end and had us pass the food to each other instead of walking around the table to provide SERVICE as he is the WAITER. He passed my sister her plate in FRONT of her husband without saying excuse me or going around as a waiter should because we had the space to do so. All but my food came. Our waiter asked asked "Is that all?" to which my response was my food did not come. He had me repeat my order. Then my family and I waited. And waited. I encouraged my family to eat so their food didn't get cold while I waited for my meal. Finally it came and it felt hot, as if they just made it since I'm sure he forgot to put it in. We weren't checked in on after we all got our food, but then again the whole time we were there, no one checked in on us. The tables around us seemed to be getting the service we deserve, but unfortunately we didn't. Food was okay, nothing amazing. Why does the bacon cheddar tots only come with 4? They're small and shouldn't be an option to replace fries. That's how much my brother got, 4. I think the menu stated 6 but he wouldn't have got them if he knew they were things you can pop in your mouth and not an actual side enough for your burger. Refills were a joke. Waiter's memory of things we needed were a joke. Service was a joke. Not one person in a Denny's uniform or someone with a Denny's name tag looked pleasant. One less customer for this location. This is my second bad experience and second chances only come once. read more

The food is okay, but the real reason I go is because it's the middle of the night and I'm with friends and no one wants to cook and nothing else is open. The service has always been great and it's always a nice experience. Much better than some other 24/7 sit-downs in the area When it comes to the food quality, there are several other diners in the area that serve the same food, but higher quality, for the same price. read more

A few friends and i stopped by this morning and had such a good time. During a pandemic, things can be a lot more stressful. Robin, our server, made it very smooth. Despite the front desk girl leaving her position multiple times leaving many customers without help, Robin made sure people were seated quickly and her seated customers were taken care of. I went there few times, every time I went there was failed. 1. Fried was awful, the oil was too old and black. 2. Burger was failed. I told them cheese only, I'm allergies. This location has been around for generations. The staff is always very kind and they have fast service and usually never mess up the orders. The menu is a bit pricy but thats understandable considering they have many employees who need to eat also. Despite that it's always good to eat local if you can afford it. I like the Lumberjack and the Grand Slam. Since it's been remodled the place is a nice place to eat with the family. read more
