The only reason I'm okay with the one star is their bourbon bacon burger.Their basic breakfast foods are good. Every time I've tried to get something new I have remained unimpressed with Denny's. Their crepes are far too sweet, made my teeth hurt. Last time I was there I asked for an extra rare steak, somehow it took longer than everyone else's food. Mashed potatoes were cold and the meat was not rare it purple and still slightly cold. I mean I stressed the fact I wanted it rare but I expected it be still under the legal food regulations. I had to send it back twice when I finally had to say just cook it medium well and yet it still came back barely cooked. The waitress was not happy with me and clearly had an attitude with not only me but the people sitting behind us as well. I know because she came over and told us they were bothering her. My drink was never refilled after sitting there for an hour and barely anyone there. Don't remember her name but I remember she was only 17, maybe that could explain the attitude. My fiancé and I went to an ihop nearby that was terribly understaffed and had an extremely long wait, so we went to Denny's instead. We got seated fairly quickly and our server was great! The food came out fast and everything tasted very good. They were also arguably busier than ihop. read more

The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because of the manager. We were greeted by a host and seated. We decided on what we wanted and waited. And waited. And waited. We weren't greeted by anyone. I even said, rather loudly with a few staff members around, "I wonder where our server is". Still no one came. My husband said he saw the girl he believed to be our server glance at our table a few times while she was with other tables. Eventually, I said, "Let's go." So we did. Plus, we had our 2 year old with us who was starting to make a scene because she was hungry. On our way to our car, I saw a guy who looked like a manager-- I asked him and he said yes. I told him what happened and he offered to take us back inside and find out what happened. By this time I was so embarrassed that we were ignored, I just wanted to go home, feed our daughter and have cereal, but my husband convinced me to stay. We went back inside and ordered our food-- with a different server. The manager came back to check on us several times to make sure we were doing all right. After we ordered, our food came out in about 3 minutes and was done correctly. The manager even took care of our entire bill for us and the server was nice and attentive. Recently went to Denny's and it took about 10 minutes to order our drinks. Our waitress finally comes up to us once another waiter gets our drink order. Then she goes into the kitchen where she confronts him and we can all here. He took over our table and saved the outcome of our experience. Then we did have to wait for the Peanut butter to come off the truck for my peanut butter pancakes. So yummy! It's new to their menu and I will be back for them - but to a different Denny's. The waiter also keep my cup filled with coffee and my husbands glass with soda. That is huge in my tipping book. We did tip the waiter well and flagged him down from the kitchen to tell him how great he was and that we appreciated that we were taken care of - that he saw no one was helping us and he jumped on. I wish I could remember his name. If we had him from the start, I would have given them 5 stars. If we stayed and had the waitress, I have a feeling it would have been 1 Star. I appreciated that someone tried To make our experience better. Not everyone does this for people. Definitely plus one customer service- going beyond and stepping up to make it a fantastic customer service with him. read more

Our waitress Shay was amazing. We order an appetizer, three entrees, and dessert. Everything came out perfect and delicious. Our waitress got a $18 tip on a $31 meal. She deserved. We will be going to the Orem location from now on. read more

Ok I arrived with my 3 friends at 1:20am. We were seated in a booth between two groups who have ordered their food. Savana was their waitress and we assumed since we were in the same side as the other two groups, we would be able to order our drinks.. nope.. it wasn't till 2am, 40 minutes after we were seated, I got up and went to the kitchen to get someone to get our drink order. DRINKS!! At this point, we were ready to order food. There was a couple who was seated who got their drinks before we were able to order our drinks! Came by around 2pm, was absolutely hungover with my homie. Robin was our waiter and she gave us a nice seat infront of this picture of 2001 Utah. I am a waiter myself and I work for a very busy restaurant and know what it's like to have to run around and accommodate to everyone but I waited for my meal for 50 minutes, my coffee was never refilled, and there was not a big group here at 1:00 in the morning on a Monday morning. Tried calling to make a simple takeout order. Called the first time and let it ring for 2 minutes, but no answer. Tried again. Someone answered this time on the second ring and asked if this was take-out. I said yes, to which she replied "Well you're going to have to wait" and then put the phone down on the counter. I waited 22 minutes on the phone for someone to come back and assist me before I gave up and ended the call. I consider myself a pretty patient and understanding fellow, but this was by far the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. As someone in the customer service field, I am appalled that this sort of thing would ever happen. If you are going for take-out, save yourself the time and go somewhere else. read more

Standard quality. The staff was all very friendly, which I didn't expect. I'd go here again.

My visit with this Denny's location was horrible. We waited forever for our food without being checked on or having refills the whole time and when it finally did come, my T-bone steak was still raw. I asked for rare not raw and frozen. So I sent it back politely, five minutes later they brought me back the same steak just cooked a little more. I took about five bites before my stomach was churning. And twenty minutes later we were pulled off on the side of the road while I vomited. I was pleasantly surprised when we came to this Denny's. Not my first pick, but it is close and my little birthday girl wanted breakfast out. Robin was an amazing server. There were people there who were obviously regulars and I am positive she is part of the reason why. I wanted to become a regular! But the food is still Denny's food which is not terrible but not wonderful. Guys it's Dennys, it's the same Denny's ANYWHERE in America. It's okay food and an okay atmosphere with servers who probably don't make near what they deserve in tips but at least you know what you're getting no matter what state you go to. There was a couple leaving as I arrived and the young lady wasn't going to tip the waitress (a twenty something girl who's like "why do I have to tip her she just brought my food" which I found SUPER rude, that's her job she deserves it) but her boyfriend went back and tipped so good for him. I LOVE YOU, DENNY'S! You SAVED my Memorial Day! My daughter, her kids, my hubby with Alzheimer's, and I had no place to eat on this holiday. Family had excluded us (due to Alzheimer's?) You welcomed us with OPEN ARMS, with perfect service and food cooked to perfection! My daughter had Mediterranean Chicken, her kids ATE FREE! 6 year old boy had sausage, pancakes and scrambled eggs, 4 year old girl had yogurt and scrambled eggs with grapes, I had Senior 55+ "Fit Fare" Loaded Veggie Omelette, hubs had Senior Grilled Chicken Dinner. Sides were Southwest Creamed Corn and Fresh Sauteed Zuchinni n' Squash. Every item was cooked to PERFECTION! Ahhhh! This was at the Orem, UT, Denny's, just north of Provo. I will always remember that wonderful time at Denny's and I just now signed up for their "specials" app! We will be going back there a LOT! read more

Our experience was awful !! We got sat @ 12:00 & did not receive our food until 12:55. That's was only after we asked about our food. Our waitress, just walked by numerous times without even refilling our drinks or giving us the confidence that we had not been forgotten about.
