Have been coming to this Denny's for awhile now. They did remodel which looks more modern. On your birthday you get a free grand slam. Also kids eat free on Tuesdays from 4pm-10pm with a purchase of an adult entree. They have breakfast, lunch & dinner options available. I love their chicken noodle soup & broccoli cheese soups. Chicken noddle soup is served everyday. Along with a different soup of the day. Their mozzarella sticks are good. Also their burgers I like. You can ask for season fries, it's a couple extra cents more but taste better. read more

The WORST service and over cooked pancakes. The waitress ignored us, I had to yell for coffee and she never came back to our table to find out if everything was ok. When she finally made it back to our table I told her the pancakes were overcooked and tasted gross. She did offer to remake my order but Walt and Travis were almost finished eating. I ordered online to pick up curbside and items were missing, the protein on one of the entrees, and the dessert, yet they still charged me full price for the missing items. They have my number but didn't notify me nor asked if I wanted to replace my choices. The waitress made me sign their copy of the receipt, and only after I signed she mentioned the missing dessert, but never mentioned the incomplete entree. That felt like a scam, a petty scam. They said I'll get a refund but I doubt I will. Online orders are dealt by third parties freeing Denny's franchises from any responsibility. I had the WORST experience at this denny's. Genuinely it's been years and i came back to write a review because it still F**** with my head. My friends and I decided we wanted to stop by on the way home from a concert we had went to, it was probably midnight ish. As we're waiting for the host to give us a table, i see a jar on the host stand collecting donations for a small girl with cancer. The jar had maybe 75 c in it. CENTS. nothing but a few coins. I felt compelled to leave a couple of dollars, I try to fold my dollar and stick it through the tiny itty bitty slot and unfortunately it wouldn't go through, absentmindedly, i decided i would just unscrew the top of the jar and put it in that way. I literally pick up the jar and don't even start to unscrew it when the host/server screams at me from across the restaurant accusing me of trying to STEAL from this poor girls donations. I wasn't even able to explain my self when he started full blown losing his mind on me in front of all the other guests and staff yelling at us to get out and telling us what trash humans we were . it was so embarrassing and disgusting. This is for the Denny's on Anthem Way. I have left several reviews for this Denny's. This will be my final comment. Don't go here. The quality is inconsistent. The wait staff has seriously taken a hit. I think her name was Molly but RUDENESS in the flesh. We were eating here 3 or 4 times a week. I will not be going back. To many good choices closer with higher quality food. The area management most suck because the Denny's a few miles down the road close and the last few times I was in this one there were scarcely any customers. My husband had the 7 grain pancakes with were cooked enough and they all fell apart. I ordered 2 biscuits which I couldn't eat as I was unable to bite into them and grits which came out in a large bowl and watery. The waitress Jhosselyn has a lot to learn about being a waitress. The kitchen has always been slow but it is slower by far now. The fellow that checked me out said he would give me a discount. Thank you but all you did was give me the senior discount. Recently I have been very disappointed with this Denny's service. It used to be such a nice Denny's, the staff was always so quick and polite. However, the past two times both of our servers were quick to get us seated, served, and curbed. They never once asked to check on the quality of the food, also it took 30+ minutes to get our water and then another 20+ before our server asked us to order. After all was said and done most of the checks our party received we're incorrect. It's sad to say that this captain and his food crew will no longer be docking at this once fine port. As of now I have been here for an hour waiting for my food with only four tables in here. A table walked in 15 minutes after we had ordered and had already received their food before us. Who I can only assume is the "manager" is being loud and obnoxious and completely inappropriate with the staff. The cook is yelling, blasting music and just chatting the servers up instead of focusing on his tickets. The server came over and apologized that the cook is "just a little behind". This last Saturday I came in to my favorite Denny's. Why is it my favorite? Because the service is amazing. Unfortunately not everyone sees that. Over a small mistake (a server not giving us silverware) the manager, Cooper proceeded to degrade our server in front of not only us but other customers. The fake pandemic has been an excuse to absolutely desecrate any sense of customer service. The concept of taking care of people doesnt exist anymore and this place is no exception. Years ago, this Dennys was outstanding the waitresses were attentive and took their jobs seriously. Since the fake pandemic, they now have nothing but very young people working who are more interested in talking to eachother and having a good time than waiting on people. They admitted to not knowing the menu, I was told by the waitress that took my order that she wasn't on the clock but she would take my order because the waitress on the clock hadn't bothered to come by. Also, was told that at this 24 hour diner their kitchen is closing at 10 pm because ecolab is coming in. Prior to 2020, Dennys managed to maintain every store 24 hours a day including all necessary cleanings and inspections. One woman owns several Dennys and although embarrassed not to recall her name I will never forget their kindness.My granddaughter Ella had a very rare Cancer at 18 months and Denny's was amazing to help fund raise for Ellas Tea Party.org They paid for table settings,name badges and in general raised a bunch of Childhood Cancer and helped spread awareness...a major sacrifice for a small business and for my grandaughter, one of only 7 to survive what she had. read more
