Let me start by saying this is a Denny's not OC Mining Company or Summit House or Fish Company. My point is that it's a diner and you're going to get diner quality food and service. That in mind, I was greeted with a smile and sat within 30 seconds by a male waiter whose name I didn't catch. He even took my drink order and within a minute it was at my table from my server Lili who asked if I was ready to order. I asked for a few minutes but in seconds from putting my menu down she was back and ready to go and very friendly as well as informative since I had selection questions. After she left I started to notice that this location was packed perhaps from the breakfast hour (it was 7:30) or perhaps from the inn/motel next door. In less than 5 minutes I had my hot food and in two bites Lili was back to see if I needed anything else. The manager or owner was also going by each table to ensure everyone was doing ok. All time best Denny's is the one in Savi Ranch hands down! Since we were running our last minute Thanksgiving errands we hadn't eaten yet and need food asap! This location was on the way to my favorite wig shop {Linda's}. Since this place was completely empty we didn't think it would be a problem.. but it WAS! Took a few minutes to get seated , didn't see one host or waiter insight! Yes I know its the day before Thanksgiving but don't you think its unacceptable to let one waitress run the whole place -_- Everything was semi-okay until we ordered our food , one chicken sandwhich and a healthy grand slam took almost 45 minutes! With no one else in the place! I don't understand what took so long! Seriously if I wasn't starving we would have walked out. Then when it came time for the food to come they didn't bring all the food! She said 2 minutes for ham and it took almost 15minutes for it!! My sandwhich was messed up, I asked for no onions and got a ton of them stuck to my cheese so the cheese was pretty much gone after I pulled them off. It probably would have taken another hour for cheese. Overall I don't think I'd come back to this location. I'd stick to my Savi Ranch location :) read more

If i could rate zero stars i would. We had the worst service ever. As a server, i am pretty understanding that mistakes happen and that things take longer when its busy. BUT, when there are maybe 3 tables in the whole restaurant and there are 2 servers talking to their friends about getting drunk after work while we have no refills, and no one checking up at all, and only come by to drop off the check without saying one word, theres something wrong. I've come here many times in the past and the food was good. This time I had breakfast and the bacon was tasteless, hash browns too salty, and the toast was not well buttered. I was very disappointed because this restaurant used to be reliably good. Next time I'll get breakfast at Shortyz, which gets a great rating on Yelp. read more

I love this Denny's. I usually only go for dinner or later- since they are open 24/7. The food is good and the cook is pretty quick. The night waitresses are wonderful, especially Suki- she is so funny and always remembers you. I have never seen or heard a server with hold anything for a bigger tip- so I don't know what "Kristine C." is talking about. I have nevery had anything but good service and I eat here atleast 3x a month. read more

Took my dad here for breakfast.. took a long time to bring our food and it was cold waitress didn't offer to refill coffee.. there was no sugar on the table we asked for it when we got there she never brought it.. portions were tiny compared to other Denny's won't ever go to this Denny's again read more

This Dennys is a very dirty and I believe unsafe place to eat the bread on my cheeseburger had mold on it hash browns weren't even cooked all the way through and the service was terrible. I will not be dining there anymore. read more

A friend and I stopped in for a bite around 2 am. I ordered the Moons Over My Hammy with eggs "over medium". Our orders looked good and we said thank you to the waitress before she walked away. I began to eat the potatoes and continued chatting before I noticed the eggs were VERY "well done". I called the waitress over who along with Sergio the manager, had been repeatedly looking over at us as if we were going to dine and dash. I showed her the dry eggs and asked nicely if I could please have the eggs over medium with yolk. She looked down annoyed and replied "okay yeah I know" after I had repeated myself in spanish assuming she didnt understand after she just stood there looking at me. I then realized she was more annoyed than confused. As she walked over to tell the cook the manager stated to her in spanish thats how the eggs are. Not realizing I understood him he walked to the back as I told the waitress in spanish what over medium eggs were. A few minites later another guy walks from the back asking what I wanted and the waitress then began explaining my request before he too walked away. At this point I didn't trust the food! I asked them to forget about the eggs, we just wanted the check. We paid at the register and as we did the manager decided it was a good time to leave without any effort at providing customer service. Our experience here was horrible. Poor customer service. Both management and waitress were rude. We paid for two meals we didnt eat. If this is late night at Dennys find a NORMS! read more

This place is horrible I went on my lunch hour at 1:00am and there was only one other table in here took 20 minutes to get my glass of oj another 20 to take my order then mirina the waitress drops the fork on the dirty filthy floor picks it up and sits it on the table in front of me she forgets my biscuits and gravy with my meal I'm waiting patiently for them an hour passes she brings me the check I ask about my biscuits and gravy and she says she forget and will Bring them out 20 minutes later nothing I ask again and told her to pack them to go she replies you cant still be hungry you just finished a French toast slam I know your a fat man but save the biscuits and gravy for another day I was appalled as I pointed out the roach crawling across the counter where you pay mirina smacks it with her bare hand and then wipes the guts on her pants let's just say the health inspector will be in shortly read more

First of all, I have been coming to this place to eat breakfast for a while, once a month, nothing fancy but nearby and not bad for a breakfast. However, a recent trip to this place just erased my appetite. On Sunday not too long back, went for a breakfast as usual and after the meal, presented a coupon. Upon presenting the coupon one of the staff at the cashier table said cannot accept the coupon. When asked why, he replied that Denny's does not honor coupon on National Holidays. When I told him that today is a Father's day, which is not a National Holiday, thus the coupon is valid, he became very agitated and stated that Father's day is a Federal National Holiday, further adding that I was there to eat because it is a National Holiday. Explained to him even showing the Wikipedia definitiona of Father's Day, which showed it as a celebration day not a National Holiday, the guy just kept saying it is a Father's Day because he think it is. We ended up not using the coupon. But the stupidity of this guy just blew me away. Denny's better educate their staff on meaning of National Holiday. read more
