Wanted to try this place after all the hype it has received, and I am not sure if I am fully impressed. The location is clean but fills up quickly. We ordered the barbacoa benedict and the country biscuits with gravy. While the food is okay, it was not impressive. Additionally, the service from the server could be better and more friendly. Our food all came out separately about 10 minutes apart, therefore, some food items got cold while we waited for the others to be brought to our table. Lastly, the homemade banana pudding is advertised all over the menu and the restaurant. However, they hardly have it available for ordering.
Great breakfast spot. Huge portions . Ordered 2 different pancakes to try and short ribs Benedict to split. Great service . Would come back again for breakfast.
Always consistent at the pan, breakfast favs are the loaded hash browns, French toast, lumberjack and breakfast burrito. They have a good deal on happy hour from 12p-3p!
Came here for an early mothers day brunch for the first time and was impressed by the great service, beautiful decor and delicious food and chai latte! Even got and extra pancake for Mother's Day. The chai was delicious and so was the strawberry pancakes. I asked for extra crispy bacon in my scramble and it was actually perfectly crispy.
I ended up going to The Pan over the holidays for the first time. They have a really exciting and tempting variety of pancakes. I couldn't make up my mind between the raspberry pancakes or the pineapple upside down pancakes. I ended up going for the pineapple pancakes and they did not disappoint! I ordered eggs and crispy bacon to accompany my pancakes but honestly they didn't need anything with them. I really only wanted to spend my time eating the pancakes. We sat at the bar our first time there because it does get busy. I'm glad I did because I met Meagan who was bartending that day. She was fabulous! I didn't know what drink to order and she suggested this chocolate or coffee cinnamon drink. You can see it in my picture. It was mouth watering delicious!! I ended up coming back after Christmas just so I could get that drink again. The restaurant is a nice size inside, clean, and the decor adds to the feeling of comfort and it's welcoming there. It's definitely a place you could bring friends and family.

This location is a nice size and has great menu offerings. Love their breakfast menu and the options to upgrade to specialty pancakes. We ordered the signature scramble, the kielbasa scramble, and upgraded to the specialty pancakes - lemon dream pancake and cinnamon roll pancake. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasted as great as imagined. Totally appreciated our service - the waitress was amazing and extremely attentive. She gave us open and honest feedback regarding her thoughts on menu options she has. I look forward to returning and love that it's a local breakfast spot.

There were endless options on the menu. The service was fast, but our waters were not checked to be refilled. When I actually could use some more water, we were leaving. I got the Short Rib Benedict, which was recommended by our server between the two choices I was trying to decide from. It did not disappoint! I loved how it was not super heavy and loved that it was on top of corn cakes. The poblano sauce was delicious! I tried a bite of my friends shrimp n' grits & it was also good. Definitely a hearty meal. The steak 'n' eggs were also good. Although the steak was overcooked from how it was ordered. My friends also loved the Charlie Brown Pancakes & the breakfast burger.
Before today if someone asked me what was my ride or die pizza it would of been "The Mexican" from The Pan. After today that is no longer the case. The pizza that was brought out today was a giant cracker with cheese and the idea of chile verde in there somewhere. When I started going to the pan in Gardena this pizza would come out with a thick crust literally made in a pan to be able to hold in all the cheese, green salsa and chunks of pork. When it came out I noticed it was not looking the same as before but I thought it would be the same flavor. Not the case at all. I even called over the waitress to ask if this was the right pizza. There was no meat on it whatsoever. She agreed it was supposed to have meat on it so she took it away. Came back and was told that whoever made it said if they make another one it's gonna be the same. So they gave us the same pizza and I agreed to just having extra chile verde sauce with more meat on the side. As the pizza got colder the crust was turning into more of a cracker consistency. Now to be fair the waitress did give us the option to have something else made to replace it with another menu item, I should of took her up on it. I was so excited to have my favorite pizza and left so disappointed.

1st time this morning, Brioche French toast was 3 stars, looked good, but bread was actually kinda hard instead of pillowy soft, not terrible, but not good either because of hardness. Scrambled eggs 5 stars, no complaints, Bacon 4 stars, I've had better, not bad. They have a green salsa if you ask for it, Service 4 stars was good enough Ambiance 4.5 stars, had a good vibe, big open place, parking is behind the front with ample spaces. Overall 4 stars, will go back and try something else.
My husband and I stopped by The Pan around noon on a weekday and were seated immediately. We ordered a breakfast burrito, Cubano, and a mocha frappe. We thought the food was very filling--I have no idea how "authentic" my Cubano was, but I nevertheless thought my sandwich was tasty (some of the pork was a bit dry). Prices were reasonable for the generous portions.
Such a deep menu! I had original tots and added pineapple pancakes, but subbed the syrup for coconut syrup. So good. The pancakes come with some delightful melted butter with the syrup, giving it a nice salty and sweet combo. Service was super friendly and fast. It's a chill place you could hang with your group and chat. There's a parking lot in back.
Came to The Pan in Lomita for brunch with my family to treat my mom while she was in town, and we had such a good experience bring that it was our first time. We had a little bit of everything at our table. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, eggs, sausage, etc. Everything came out hot and tasted great. You really can't go wrong with any of the breakfast options we tried. Our server was very attentive, and I especially appreciated how accommodating everyone was when I asked for some hot water to warm my baby's bottle. It's a small thing, but when you're dining out with a baby, those little gestures matter. The atmosphere was nice, the food was good, and most importantly, my mom enjoyed herself. The loaded hash browns are the best thing to share for the table! I loved my stuffed French toast too, especially because it wasn't overly sweet. Service was attentive and friendly. She did great even though she's newly hired. Inside was clean and we were sat right away. Always a great place to eat with friends. read more

My family and I had a big group--party of 10. On a Sunday, I would think it'd take a long time to wait for a table, but it wasn't too bad. Waited for less than 30min despite the number of parties ahead of us. Seems like they're organized and are good with time management. Staff and friendly and made sure we were updated on the wait time. We appreciated the quick service and attentiveness. The food we had was flavorful and plentiful!!! Worth the price of each dish. We had the shrimp n grits, short rib Benedict, Ultimate crepe, Charlie Brown chocolate pancakes, steak n eggs. Chorizo omelette, guava pancake and pineapple upside down pancake too, etc. There was a DJ who took requests via IG, which was cool. I liked the music while grubbin'. This place is so well decorated. Loved the vibe and the friendly service. They make you feel at home. Parking is limited but you can park accross the street in the other shopping center. Food was delish. There was a little mistake on the bill but they immediately addressed that to me and was resolved right away. Joann is a pleasant and professional server! read more
I really thought The Pan was going to be a diner but it sure wasn't. I remember when the space used to be a Thai restaurant but seriously it's huge. My friend and I came yesterday for lunch. Parking is plentiful in the back and we were immediately greeted and seated when we entered. Our server came over pretty quickly which is awesome because my friend and I are people who peruse the menu before arriving and already know what we will order. I got the shrimp n'grits and my friend ordered the steak and eggs. We both got the eggs over easy. Did I say we love that breakfast is served all day?? Both dishes were huge portions and delicious. Of note there is no white bread available with lunch. I didn't think I could finish the entire plate but I did and I was still full at dinner time Our server was very efficient and came by to see if we needed anything before she was going to be busy with a large group Great experience! This is a solid place to go for breakfast and lunch! We always come here whenever we have a craving for brunch. You cannot go wrong with any of their items. I got their pastrami sandwich and would order it again. It was massive and holding it with my hands was difficult. It wasn't too salty, the added egg made the entire sandwich delicious. I just wish it came with a side of fries so I took some from my friend's plate instead lol. Both of them liked their choices as well. The service was fast and everyone is always so polite. Given the size of the restaurant, it is very easy to hold a conversation without feeling the need to yell as well. Highly recommend this place ! read more

Wonderful place. We were immediately greeted by a nice young woman. Then shown to our table. The menu had lots of tasty offerings. We ordered and the food took maybe 10 minutes. Fast! Large portions too. The server was very nice. She also shared a love for the Chicken Posole soup. It came with tortilla chips to immerse in your soup. The House Salad was very good with croutons, tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, cucumbers, and a House dressing. The Tiramisu Pancakes had whipped cream, cocoa powder, crunch topping that was sweet, Tiramisu chocolate filling, and Espresso taste. Exceptionally good everything! A lovely French Bistro! The best time is like 1:30. Very quiet then. After the crowd has left. Also they have a rewards program. Which is very nice. Highly recommended. read more

Love the Pan . Ordered food to go, so I didn't see it til I got home. Paid $4.00 extra for the avocado for my husband. I'm allergic, so I don't eat it. I don't think it's supposed to be black inside though??? Looks gross to me, not even appealing. Why would they even use it? Since it was 'to go'?? I had sponty brunch with friends today. I was craving for something sweet so l ordered the tiramisu pancakes, it was mid, I requested some bananas to add more flavor to it. (I love tiramisu flavored-anything!). The clam chowder cup serving was huge for a cup. But too pepper-y. My friend had the hash brown loaded plate, it was okay -- a little salty for my taste. The crepe looked good! I was not able to try it but I bet it's good since my friend ate 'em all!! Our server was accommodating too. Would come back to try the short rib egg benedict plate as recommended by my friendster! A good place to fill your day with good food and chisme! | enjoyed the decorations and high ceiling. read more

1/5 Save your money and time and go somewhere else. Me and my partner gave this location a try. We ordered chicken and waffles, southern breakfast and additional 3 kinds of their specialty pancakes. First of all, their house coffee is a disappointment. Right of the bat i knew food ia not gonna be great after having the coffee. And we were right. The only thing thats edible on our table was the chicken. Their waffles are hard and dry. The pancakes are soaked in syrup. They put 2 bacons and one egg and mixed potatoes on that southern plate. Its horrible. We paid $65 usd for the breakfast. We still left a tip for the servwr who's been very nice and helpful. But overall, totally not recommended. Very disappointed. read more

Love breakfast focused joints. This is one of the ones local in the area. I know there is now 2 "The Pans" in the area, and the other one is frankly closer to me, but I thought we'd go to the OG one in the area. There are plenty of tables, and the wait staff is great. The wait staff was attentive and ensured the coffee remained full. There is a parking lot in the rear and there were 2 open stalls so it wasn't a problem, but the parking lot seems a bit small if the place was really busy- though you can park on the side street as well. I got the loaded hashbrowns, which was pretty big and I ate only half - to save the other for later. The lemon pancakes were also a large portion and tasted great. We don't go get breakfast too often, but this "The Pam" remains on the list. read more

Out of all the different locations of The Pan chain I really admire this location the best. Their food is spot on and I just love the home style set up. The service was awesome. We went for the 1 hr bottomless mimosas and the waitress had a very generous pour. The food is the star of the show, I absolutely love their shrimp and grits. The dish is very savory, not too heavy and the shrimp has so much flavor. I like to pair the shrimp and grits or the loaded hash brown with pancakes on the side and try the different flavors. I've tried the guava and cinnamon pancakes before and sooo yummy. This is a great date brunch spot or lunch with the family. read more

This was my husband's first time here, and my first time trying the unlimited mimosas for an hour--and let me tell you, I was not ready! We originally went to the Artesia/Gardena location, and while the host was super sweet, the space was just too small for us. So, we headed to the Lomita location, and OMG--night and day difference. It's so much more spacious, and the vibe is just chef's kiss--calm, welcoming, and just what we needed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest smile (I wish I got her name because she was a sweetheart!). And our waitress, Megan? 10/10. She was ON IT the whole time. Now, let's talk about the mimosas--freaking amazing. Like, dangerously good. And the food? WOW. I got the Original Loaded Hashbrowns with sourdough toast, and it was everything I wanted--crispy, cheesy, and just so satisfying. My husband went for the LV's Green Chili Hash with sourdough toast, and let's just say... he was in love. So much so that he straight-up declared this our new weekly spot... and you KNOW I'm happy about that! Overall, just an amazing experience. Counting down the days 'til we're back next week--wish it was already here! read more

Hello Jesse, as of right now we aren't. Is really hard to find staff. Our location on 1425 w Artesia blvd, Gardena is the only location providing dinner at the moment.
We will be a party of 10. So do I WL is for the largest party you being a party of 6 and then in the comment section "Party of 9 plus a highchair?
Yes. The space is pretty big so I don't see them not being able to accommodate a party of 9 plus highchair. My suggestion is to call the restaurant first and ask.
What are the vegan options?
Not sure but their menu is online. Also, you might want to direct your question to the owner, she is kind enough to respond.
Are they open on thanksgiving?
No we will be closing for thanksgiving day and resuming regular hours on Friday. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.
