Denny's is a great restaurant if you have kids who have an assortment of taste palates, as they have burgers, chicken dishes, pastas, and much more that kids would be happy to eat. Their nachos seemed to have more sour cream and salsa than anything else, and their spaghetti with meatballs had sauce that tasted like it came out of a can. (The noodles were a bit thick but the meatballs were DELICIOUS). After seeing everyone else's meals, I think I would try one of the burgers next time as they seemed to be delicious. As for the service, we had quite a large group so I am sure she was a bit overwhelmed. She was very nice, it just seemed like she really didn't want to take care of a larger group at the moment. As we were still eating, she told us her shift was over so she passed our group on to someone who was still on the clock and they wrapped up the evening for us. Again, she was very nice and I understand wanting to get home. Especially, if you don't know how long a large group will stick around for. I just don't believe I've ever experienced a switch in servers like that before. Overall it was good, but I wouldn't say to expect the best pasta of your life here. It is what it is for a more breakfast focused place; I would recommend ordering something different. read more

My husband enjoyed his Grand Slam breakfast, and my Moon over my hammy sandwich was stuffed with lots of ham, cheese and eggs. My morning started with Tonya once I entered the doors to Denny's. Tonya was such a delight! Very warm and friendly, and patient with people as they ordered. After I gave her my order and it came out pretty quickly. She asked if everything was to my liking and continued to check on me throughout my meal. Very attentive. Eric, one of the cooks, prepared my steak. I couldn't have asked for a steak any better. Mouth watering delicious, seasoned just right and OMG so tender!! EVERY bite was tender and juicy. Everyone at Denny's knew what they were doing, there was consistency. The staff was very friendly and polite. Outside was unbearably hot but inside it was nice and cool as I sat and enjoyed my meal. Stopped here on our way home from Maine. Very clean and orderly. Food was served quickly and nice and hot. BIG omelets and crispy hashbrowns- tasty! Waiter was very pleasant and helpful. Our meal at dennys was great. The wait staff were great, they check in on us and made sure that our food was good. They made sure our drinks were full. When our waiter came back we asked if they could give the cooks a message. The message was that the food was delightful and delicious, cooked just the way we like it. Wow. This joint was a lesson in poor management big time. The place was busy for a mid- afternoon and I have no idea why as it certainly doesn't warrant repeat customers. There seemed to be plenty of servers on shift however service was unbelievably slow in order taking, serving, checking on our experience and lastly receiving a check. The food was forgettable. Skillet hash browns burned and biscuit gravy too salty to eat. Most annoying was the loud obnoxious high school type banter going on between the serving staff and occasionally the kitchen. My god- who needs reality TV when you have this group of immatures sharing their personal views and slights towards each other at a range decidedly focused on having customers hear. My waiter was Amelia and she was honestly the only good part about my experience super willing to help out and get anything I need you know actually doing her job. Angela however is the WORST she is cruel to her workers doesn't even do her job and on top of all that I overheard another waitress express how she was very ill and tried to call out but Angela made it a HUGE DEAL and made her feel like she was expected to come to work. Came here for the "grand slam deal" for breakfast. Got seated quickly and got my hot chocolate to start. Waitress was friendly but hurried as it was busy. Once we ordered the food c as me pretty quick and was piping hot. I got eggs, bacon and pancakes. Everything was as I ordered. The place was a bit noisy and getting crowded but it was the breakfast rush. The place is clean and well kept and turns over people pretty quick. All in all was a good deal for a quick bite.
