I previously reviewed this location a few years ago and gave it a low rating. Since then, this place has definitely made improvements. From the quality and speed of the food, to the customer service. My group recently dined in, and we had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very attentive, offering refills on beverages and often checking on us. She was very kind and professional, and even when there was a mistake on one plate, she handled it very well. We ordered variety of plates and loved it all. This location gets quite busy. I have came to this location and checked in numerous times and always forget to leave a review. As busy as this location is the staff tries to do their best to accommodate you as soon as they can. So, I sympathize with them being a busy location and still managing to service their customers. Denny's has become pretty expensive overtime just as many other things have. But the one thing I do value is that they have a value menu that you will definitely get full on. So I love getting their slams. Most often I go here for breakfast. So I really can't speak on lunch or dinner items. I do want to come back and try some more items from their lunch and dinner menus. My go to diner food when I feel lazy cooking. They have a new/revamped welcome reward app that they launched that I took advantage of. I ordered a super slam and got a side entree for free. I chose the onion rings. I ordered it to go and breakfast was on point. There are only stars because of a server I believe her name is Teresa, but she speaks Spanish and she is just a great server. She is so at tents even when she's the only one working and the tables are full. She refills my water when it gets empty and at other establishments where there's many servers I get only the original cup. She checks on us and makes sure our order is done right. She is great at making recommendations too! Her managers need to make sure to take care of her because she basically holds the Dennys together. The lack in stars is because if it's not Teresa then it's this other guy who every time we've been there tells us they're closed. Like I've literally never had him as a server. And my husband and I go to Dennys a lot because we have so many late nights at Kaiser that's around the corner. (We usually come late like between 10-2am at times.) I wanna say maybe between 6-10 times we've been turned away from that Dennys. So yeah. Teresa gave yall the 5 stars but bc of the guy it went down to 3. read more

No stars. In February for my birthday the waitress kept pouring the coffee fast almost pouring it on my older friends hand as she ran away. We had to keep asking can you clean the table bc of all the coffee spills. We ended up cleaning it bc she took so long to get back every time we needed something. A few weeks ago we came at night and they gave us the old menu aftter taking our order. They come to us saying they gave the wrong menu. We then have no choice but to reorder. They should have honored the first menu. Their mistake not mine. The chicken strips came back overcooked so much so that I couldn't bite nor cut it . I ended up setting it aside and asking for it to be taken away bc it's not cooked right. The other day we had issues with the server she didn't listen when we said separate checks. We all order food and coffee. In which the coffee is free refills. when we asked for more creamer. The waitress covered the creamer with her hand telling us that the creamer will now be charged for since we asked for the amount they only allowed already. I then demand to speak to the manager. When she comes she is standing by her server who was not listening, spilling coffee which we cleaned bc she wasn't doing it. The manager addressing the creamer issue we are independently owned and have to control food cost for the creamer. I said how can you control it the coffee is unlimited. She says the coffee is not the creamer. You're supposed to only use 2 per cup. We keep asking where does it say that and that the server should have mentioned it. She said no she doesn't have to. How will we know you so that you don't talked about it. then she says would you let someone come in your home and use all your creamer. We all decided that would be the last time we eat there. You should be more accountable how your mistakes. read more

It's been quite a few years since I have been back to this restaurant, mainly because Joe K. didn't like the food or service during our last visit. So we pretty much didn't look in their direction anymore even though they are within walking distance of my house! But after Joe passed away, I decided to emerge from my hermit crab existence and join the "Ladies Breakfast" held once monthly in my neighborhood. It's actually a nice little get together for some of the retired women of my area to socialize for an hour or two. We met at about 9:00am and got a nice table to accommodate our party of 8. I have attended 2 breakfasts so far and our waitress Christy N. has been our server both times. She is very friendly and attentive at taking our orders even through the pickiest of customers. On my first visit, I got the Loaded Veggie Omelet, wheat toast, a bowl of seasonal fruit and an orange juice. My food was very tasty and was served a lot more than I could eat in one sitting! Of course, I'm always the last one to finish eating and had to take half of my breakfast home. During my second visit, I ordered a more traditional meal that included 2 eggs over medium, hash browns, wheat toast, bowl of fruit and coffee. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. At least I didn't hear any complaints. I must add that gone are the days of the advertised Grand Slam breakfasts at enticing low prices. Both of my meals were in the $20.00 range. However, we did discover that they do have a secret "Super Slam" menu of $7.99 breakfasts that they hope you don't ask for, but one of the ladies inquired about it after seeing it advertised on TV. There is only one copy available apparently, and they will reluctantly present it to you if asked. I am now looking forward to more breakfast gatherings in the future. It's a nice way of getting to know my neighbors better. And I don't mind paying a little extra, as long as it supports our local businesses. read more

I enjoy eating at Denny's . Unfortunately, this location. I've had ups and downs like a roller coaster.. several times I've gone and the Service has been sad. The waitress does not listen. She does not pay attention, but she's very aware of her situation because she goes to the back and she talks several moments to her coworker when they're not really doing anything, and people are waiting to be fed or for refills or even napkins or silverware. She was pouring coffee at my table one time, and she didn't even pay attention to my hand was on the cup and didn't even wait for me to move my hand before she start pouring again. She poured some on me and never even looked to see what happened until I said wait a minute. And then she turned around left the table, dirty, and my hand was almost burn never said anything never apologize. Another time, this restaurant server was not a tentative and do not focus on what we were ordering. And then when it came, it wasn't what we ordered, of course. until we spoke to one of the managers at Night Shift and he assisted us and gave us good service and said that if we asked for him, we would quality service. The other day the service was really bad and the manager, instead of giving an understanding of us not knowing their policy cause it's not even put into writing she told us the policy and that she didn't have to have it in writing and that we are only supposed to have a small amount of cream and some people use a little bit of a little amount of cream more in their coffee. And when the coffee is refillable, you expect to get more cream for that coffee, but it was not very nice and it was a confrontation. And the manager was not a very nice person. So I will not be going back to that Denny's due to the fact that the waitress was not accommodating did not pay attention to our order. Did not listen to the fact that we wanted separate checks did what she wanted to do and then she wanted to tell us what we ordered at the end without even acknowledge the fact that we asked for separate checks. And felt that their policies did not need to be viewed by everyone is what they say is what they say and it didn't matter if we were able to read it or not. I feel that if you're gonna make some changes and you're gonna charge an up charge us something you need to let the customer know ahead of the game before he or she orders her food or even gets an extra cup of coffee or even an extra anything. They need a whole new night crew, manager was rude, had his buttcrack hanging out, he smelled musty, out of uniform, and acted like customers were an inconvenience, no professionalism, just attitude the entire time. Orders were slow, messed up, and clearly rushed. The place is poorly managed, with employees standing around instead of helping. Worst Dennys I've ever been to. I work overnight & every time I try to grab something around 2-4am on my lunch breaks, there's a problem. They gave me the wrong order once & said they gave mine to another person. They didn't even ask my name & gave me an order w a guys name just from ASSUMING I was door dashing. Told me it would take 45 minutes to remake !! Bootc asf. I was on a 30 minutes break & i couldn't wait. I ordered online so I couldn't even get a refund until the morning. I had to call around 11am. My brother has been craving Denny's for awhile because his favorite entree is the country fried steak so I took him here one morning on a weekday. I have never been to this location and it's in a pretty good area and easy to find but coming into and out of the parking lot may be difficult. Upon entering, we had to wait a little to be seated and it also took a while for a server to come take our orders. I will say that the waitress was super nice and kind and they seemed pretty short staffed so this isn't about service. I ordered the grand slam breakfast which was ok. Eggs were scrambled and should have came with cheddar but instead were super bland. I didn't even touch the bacon because they looked burnt. Toast was ok with melted butter on it. Sausage links were regular sausage links. The only thing I enjoyed were the hash browns. I also ordered the new cold brew with sweet cream which was mediocre and I couldn't finish it. My brother ordered mozzarella sticks and the country fried steak which he said was good. Overall, an average experience. read more

We decided to get some food togo for work, and since they are open 24 hours they were only a handful of places open. After midnight they don't answer the phone to take orders, must go in or try online to order. 4 of us from work placed an order... all double burgers with fries. We all had dried out, overcooked burgers and half perfectly cooked fries and the other half was well overcooked as well The burgers had good produce in them, and mine was the blaster fire burger part of the star wars theme. Thst ghostpepper sauce had a nice kick to it, but didn't pair well trying to eat a double hockey puck burger. It was around 2am and they were not busy, not sure the reason for the food to come out thst way, but they did do well on hiding the burnt fries on bottom and the fresh on top. Wouldn't recommend going late, late night. Hopefully better in daytime. read more

Great service. We went in on a Wednesday night around 7pm. Maria got us seated, took our orders, brought our food(hot), and was seen even bussing tables while we were there. There were few employees, with many customers but Maria managed the front pretty damn well by herself all well keeping positive & friendly.
