The early morning of Dec 31, 2017 at 1am. A group of my friends left a party sober to go get something to eat. We decided to go to the Denny's on Mack Road in Sacramento. Everyone was dress normally except my best friend and I. As showed in the picture. As we walk up to the Denny's the manger starts writing a sign saying. No split check. No bills over $50 or $100. No paying with separate cards. I walk in last as our friends are in line and go stand beside my best friend. While the manager goes to put up her new sign on the door, she stops and points at me and says "You can not wear that in here. Its a family function." My whole group is confused how she single me out. I asked what does she mean and she just says "All that needs to be covered". You can see in the picture I'm wearing black shorts and fishnet tight, a long sleeve back and white mesh shirt with pink shoes and socks. Clearly I'm more covered than my friend. My friend offers me their jacket and I refuse and go outside to the car. I few minutes later I noticed I was just slut/fat shamed by a racist white women at Denny's. We noticed she did not say anything to my Caucasian best friend who was just wearing a bra and jeans. I'm upset and walk back in calmly to ask for the managers name and number from someone higher up to report what she has done. You can see in the video I'm standing their calmly trying to get information out of her but all she does is refuse and laugh in my face. My friends are starting to get annoying calling her out and saying that I should be able to wear this outfit inside. She said its part of Denny's dress code that I can't wear "That" inside because its a family function. To remind you its 1am at night and there's no kids or family's to be seen. I ask her to see where it says that I can't wear this in the handbook she speaks of. I remember the normal restaurant dress code is no shoes, no shirt, no service and I was in appropriate wear for that time and not violating anything. You can see in the video that the security guard started to get in my face saying "Its time to leave." Not letting me get any number or information from her. I was not hostile and or disrespectful in any ways. Since they started to get hostile towards me I decided I will leave out. A security guard follows us out and was extremely kind to us. He told us what to do for this situation, apologized for her behavior, and told us the managers name was Jackie (refused to give a last name) and to seek the Owner Kim. This Denny's fat shamed, slut shamed, and was racist towards me when I only treated the staff with respect. I, Glory Alexander will not stand for this kind of treatment in the new year of 2018. read more

This is worst service and unsanitary establishments. This store doesn't honor coupons on mobile apps anymore they so called claim. You have to print them out. This restaurant is a joke. I had the braised beef over mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. I had to order a side of green beans because they're my favorite, and they did not disappoint! My meal also came with a side salad, and the house dressing was fantastic. We ordered dessert to go, and even though we haven't dug into it yet, it looks AMAZING! From the incredible service and delicious food to the welcoming atmosphere, everything was top-notch. Thank you for taking such great care of us and making us feel so welcome. It was the perfect ending to a very long, very HOT day on the bike! We will definitely be back!

I walked in and was immediately greeted and helped with taking my order to go. The service was great at the counter. I got a decent beef stroganoff (but was a little oily for me) and it came with corn bread. Yum! The meatloaf was apparently amazing and delicious... came with mashed potatoes and veggies on the side along with the best cornbread ever (as previously said, Yum!) The pies for dessert were delicious too. Cherry, apple, key lime. (They even had a couple types that were sugar free. ) It wasn't hard to eat the key lime pie even though my entree was filling. I showed him the number and husband looked up online to show him. The Manager asked for us to wait and he ran to the store and bought GF. It was so sweet.
