Super Slam is 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, 2 bacon, 2 sausages. You can substitute pumpkin pancakes for an extra $0.49. The potatoes and bacon was cold. There was no one else in his section being served. Service was SLOW. My waiter's name is Florentino T. I have never been charged for salsa before and was charged $0.89 for it this time. The salsa is bottled and cold. When I asked why I was charged for the salsa I was told that the special does not come with anything extra. Salsa is not on any menu item...and when I asked before if there was a charge for the salsa was told, no. When I got the potatoes back they were hot. I had them switch the bacon, which tasted nasty, with the sausages, which are very good. I am unimpressed with both the hashbrowns (greasy), the redskin potatoes, and Florentino. I went to get my free birthday meal. The manager kept telling me she needed a QR code in order to accept my free value slam. I went to the app as well as the website and there was no QR code to be given. The manager let me sit there for over an hour near the cash register until she finally came by and said I'll do it and she overrided in the register and gave me my free meal what a waste of my time! read more

Me and the guys on our way up to Lake Perris to check out some camp sites. But first, breakfast! Parking sucks but this Denny's has a cool feel. Its sunday morning and its pretty busy with a 20 min wait. We were able to squeeze 3 tables together to fit 7 of us and we filled all three tables with food and drinks. We've been here to this Denny's a few times and the food and service were very good. Noah does a very good job of keeping drinks filled and lets you enjoy your food by not coming by every 5 minutes to ask if everything is still perfect. Good kid. Victor has been our server a few times also. Denny's, it seems has gotten a little bit pricey for what you get on your plate, but we like to go there after church. I would recommend. read more

Never really been a huge fan of Dennys, although I have to say I have used them many times, at night, hungry and with nothing in the fridge. Mcdonals are not always open 24 hours, and there is always a Dennys calling your name in these lonely nights. So here we are, my friend and I, trying to find a place to eat after 10 at night...the only one close by was this Dennys. Oh surprise, everything seems changed, much more space, or space has been arranged differently (haven't been in this RB location for years). Service was great. We had this very tall server to whom we asked if he was Finnish, as we know so many folks from Finland and he looked so much like them! He was extremely nice, polite and fast. We got our Pacifico beers and a huge, but really huge chicken quesadilla. I am glad we decided to share, as it was so big for only one person, plus the fries, that were not very tasty and missed salt, but were abundant and not oily. This Denny's location has always been very good about providing great customer service even when they are super busy. Since COVID this location has gone to great lengths to continue that great service. I've ordered out several times and my order is always hot as well as fresh as if I were dining in. They have setup tables, canopies and lights outside so you can dine on the premises. The manager on duty at nights is always fantastic. She is always so friendly and ensures my order is correct before giving it to me. read more

Today I had one of the most amazing club sandwiches I have ever had, soo generous with the avocado it was great! Hideous service experience. We are a local high school that celebrates at Denny's after our home football games. The team mom called a day ahead to let Denny's know we would be coming. She called 30 minutes ahead, as requested, to provide an ETA for our group. When our team arrived the staff had seated the team from El Cajon, that we had just played, and refused to serve us. The team mom explained the years long tradition, and the waitress rudely replied that she lived by the team from El Cajon. It was the end of a tradition for our school and the beginning of a new relationship with iHOP! This lack of support for our community was really upsetting. read more

My wife and I just had dinner at Denny's. After eating dinner, I know now why I only go for breakfast. The meal, I had steak, was ok but what I noticed was all the duct on the ledge from one end of the seats to the other end. We sat next to the windows on the street side in front. I called the manager over and pointed it out. Her comment was they dust every Monday. I said we dust our home twice a week and there is only two of us. We decided to go out specifically because it was too hot to be in that night. So we were disappointed to arrive and feel like the heat was on. No way, I told my husband. Who would ever turn the heat on when it was so miserable outside? Way, he insisted. He was right. He asked a server and she explained that it had been so cold in the restaurant that they decided to turn on the heat to balance the temp. That would not have been my choice; I am always happier to be too cold than too warm, especially on one of the warmest nights of the year to date. They did turn the heat off, though, and within several minutes, I was able to hand back the menu that I had been using it to fan myself furiously. Orders: my son had a chicken sandwich, with which he was satisfied. My husband and I each got the Cobb salad with prime rib. The salad itself was fine and included the addition of shoestring potatoes which gave it some interesting texture. The other toppings were standard Cobb fare- avocado (they give you a decent sized portion and it was the perfect ripeness), hard boiled but not over boiled eggs, blue cheese, bacon and tomato. Everything was fairly to very fresh. The prime rib was clearly cut from the overcooked, and in this case oversalted, ends of the brisket. I'd pass on that next time. I had blue cheese dressing, which they brought in a bowl on the side. Husband had Thousand Island, delivered the same way. No bread or crackers, which would have been nice. Our son had a turtle cheesecake for dessert. At $4.49, it was good deal, but the flavor didn't blow me away. Using our AARP discount of 15%, we were not unhappy with the prices. So limped in to restaurant to be met by pandemonium: long line, managers and wait staff totally unorganized. Flagged an employee who belatedly found my order. Social distancing sketchy. Very busy place and I can understand if that was the cause re: our poor service from Aidee.. Not sure if it's because the hostess sat my family at a table meant for a bigger group or a few of her customers showed up at the same time, but Aidee seemed disinterested to serve us.. She didn't seem to appreciate that we were not ready as not a hint of a smile was present even after she came back after making us wait.. She also passed us several times and did not ask if we were finally ready.. When she provided us our drinks (2 kid apple juice, 1 OJ, and a water), no straws were left.. I understand some restaurants has foregone with straws but the kid cups had straw lids.. and when my wife asked for straws several minutes later, she gave us three..?? Why not just two or ask if I also needed a straw?? At the end of our meal she asked if we needed a box.. My wife said yes given that I was mid-chewing my food and then she provided the check.. No effort of whether we needed desserts or anything else.. refills for our drinks perhaps as she didn't provide any the entire time.. I looked around to see if this was the standard from the other servers and surely it was not.. and definitely not for Denny's.. I also wish I could've taken a picture of my meal or gave it back but I'm not the type to make a scene or cause an issue for my family especially at a restaurant where our food may possibly be affected.. I ordered the create your own breakfast where I get to choose 4 items.. My review is not on the food. The food it the typical diner food and probably no different than any of the other Denny's out there. My review here is on the service here. It is outstanding! They treat you like family. Everyone there is always nice and happy to be there...or they appear to be. Me and my family go here when its late or when we all can't decide where to go. So we usually end up here. We are always here and the employees always come to us and check in on how we are doing...not the... how are you doing, can I get you anything else... Its the, how are you doing? How are the kids doing in school? and the little chit chat while giving you great service. Oh and here is the best thing about this place. Every day after 4:00 PM, KIDS EAT FREE! Yeah! It's awesome. So go to Denny's and I'm sure this place will take care of you. I love the people here! read more

I ordered the Nutella crepes and picked them up curbside. I got home and there were bananas in the crepes. Doesn't say they come with bananas in the description nor are they included in the picture. Bananas are disgusting to me so I just tossed it. A couple weeks later I order the Pumpkin Pecan pancakes because I loved them when they had them 5 or some years ago. The pecans were candied and the pancakes were delicious. Well once I got home I found out that they had NO pecans in the pancakes whatsoever. Nice place to take the kids and not have to worry about much. Kids eat free every day, which is great when you have 4! The waitress was the nicest woman ever who understood what have an infant, a toddler and twins was like. She put us and the kids at ease. We were seated right away and ordered quickly.
