Even after all these years, this Denny's Location is still on point. Service is excellent, the place is clean and their food is delicious. I dropped in today and had a to go order since my boy didn't want to dine in. It was fast and convenient. I'll be back abak. When I don't feel like putting in the effort to whip up some pancakes.

This location is my new neighborhood Denny's that I'll be frequenting for breakfast. The food is good, but it's the service that is outstanding. Alex, our server made our breakfast experience so welcoming and pleasant. He was right on top of things and always made sure we were happy. I wish all servers could be as personable. Denny's is that nostalgic, old school diner that reminds you of your childhood. They are open 24/7 which is a major plus because everything closes so early in this area. We were immediately seated upon arrival but we had to wait a little for our server to come by and introduce himself. He was friendly and professional. I assume he was juggling several tables. The decor is your classic diner with booths and tables. The menu is extensive so there's something for everyone. The food came out within a reasonable time and was hot and tasty. The portions are decent compared to other restaurants. I loved my pumpkin pecan pancakes and Minute Maid smoothie and may come back for more soon ;) We left happy and full. Plenty of parking in the lot and some on the streets.

Their buttermilk pancakes are so good! Especially with the whipped butter. Their egg whites are also delicious. This is the everyday value slam with 2 buttermilk pancakes, egg whites, and bacon.

Arrived yesterday and was seated promptly at a large booth which we all appreciated. The server arrived promptly and took our order. Food came out relatively fast (seems to be normal at Denny's). I do wish my children's orange juice would have been filled to the top since the orange juice doesnt come with free refills and we did have to ask for an to go box twice, but overall decent/average service, nothing to write home about. Keep in mind you get a 15% discount as an AARP member!

Food 4/5: The food was pretty good, the fries are not super crunchy but still tasty, the mozerella sticks were super good and the onion rings were decent. My son and I frequent Denny's about twice a month. We went recently when there slam breakfasts were buy one get one for a dollar which I think is an amazing deal. The service is always spot on and the ambience is just like really any other Dennys that you would walk into. One thing that I really like is that their mimosas are not served in a traditional champagne glass. It's served in a larger glass, which makes it even more bang for your buck.

I'm sure people are skeptical when I make the bold claim that Denny's is one of my favorite breakfast spots. I've been eating at Denny's here in San Diego throughout my formative years and into my adult life. Eating at Denny's is nostalgic for me because there have been many occasions from being a kid, a teenager, a young adult, middle age, and soon to be Denny's Senior Citizen discount age that I've dined at this 24/7 institution. Unbelievably, I've never reviewed my favorite Denny's spot, so today will be that day. This Denny's is located in Rancho Bernardo specifically on Bernardo Center Drive close to a Firestone, Rubio's, and just steps away across the street from a 7-11 and Jack in the Box. What I really enjoy about this Denny's is the community it resides in because there are a lot of retired military, which will be evident during Veterans Day and you'll see how many take advantage of the free Denny's breakfast. The restaurant has plenty of parking in their private lot and street parking. There's a duck pond closeby where you can walk off the calories you consumed. The decor is classic diner with old pics hung on the walls; booths, tables and chairs, and bar seating; there's a tv that you could catch news, and arcade games where you try to grab prizes. What I really enjoy about this Denny's is the friendly and customer service oriented employees, who genuinely appear to enjoy their jobs. I was prepared to give a high rating, but today I was irritated by the Latino lady server who seemed concerned about me taking pictures of the menu. When I explained that I write reviews, she suddenly didn't seem too concerned. The main reason why I'm a fan of Denny's is its value for your money when it comes to their food. I especially enjoy eating breakfast at all Denny's. Today, I stopped by because I had to drop off my car for service at a local auto shop and this restaurant is just a short walk from the auto shop. I highly recommend that you download the Denny's app because you'll earn rewards and discounts, which I was taking advantage of today. I ordered one of their new breakfast items, which was their Salted Caramel Banana Pancake Slam. For an affordable $14.59 plus the 20% coupon from the app, I got to enjoy a heaping amount of food. This breakfast slam comes with two buttermilk pancakes topped with vanilla cream, fresh banana slices, and salted caramel; it's served with eggs made your way, crispy hash browns, plus your choice of bacon of sausage. The salted caramel banana pancakes were like a dessert, it was rich, and extravagantly delicious especially with the syrup. I highly recommend that you ask for scrambled eggs with cheese, which I learned from my daughter who learned from her boyfriend. I intend to order my eggs that way from now on. The hash browns were cooked crispy, golden brown and they eat really well with everything. The sausages were cooked exactly how I like them and were savory delicious. What I like to do to add a little kick, I put Cholula hot sauce and ketchup over the hash browns and eggs, and place this same concoction on the side to dip the sausages. I honestly have never been disappointed with any of their breakfast dishes. I so can't wait to hit that 55 and over Senior Citizen Denny's Discount age because I'll finally be able to get more value for my hard earned money. The ratings for Denny's aren't too high, so next time you see someone taking pictures, just let them because they could be giving you a great review just like this one.

Surprisingly Great! I've been to so many Dennys and I've never really been a fan I'd prefer IHOP honestly But my daughter really wanted to go so we tried this location and was pleasantly surprised! I love that they have an outdoor seating area nicely shaded with lights above We wanted to be outside but it was so hot so the shaded area was perfect I love love love that they offer Mimosas here! Never have I ever been to a Dennys that serves mimosas ($7) yes I was very happy to see this I had the strawberry cream French toast which was so delicious Not too sweet, creamy or cakey but perfectly cooked My daughter loved her grand slam and my mom enjoyed her French toast Our server was so attentive ! He checked on us several times We were nervous because we were the only ones seated outside we thought he would forget about us But not at all! The manager greeted us at the end and asked how everything was and an added bonus This location takes EBT ! Although there isn't a sign that displays this- they do! Parking was easy and we were in and out within the hour We will definitely be returning !

I'm surprised they don't charge for tap water

First of all they seriously need to update their +55 menu. No fruit, no salads just breakfasts, a salmon dinner for $12.99 and chicken fried steak? It was lunch time... The person I was meeting was also +55 and we weren't planning on staying long We just were going to do a meet and greet. He said he wasn't really hungry and was just going to get a grilled cheese sandwich but couldn't find it anywhere on the menu. The place is very big and maybe there were 4 or 5 other customers it was pretty empty. After a very long wait the waitress finally came back to take our order. We asked if they a had the kids menu so we were back to waiting again... When she finally came back we asked if they had grilled cheese, she said yes. I ended up getting a kids meal since there was nothing small on the regular menu. I got 2 chicken tenders that were pretty much the size of taquitos. I got a glass of water and he got iced tea and my chicken tenders came with a few fries. I asked for the fries well done. When we finally got our food I was shocked how undercooked the fries were and how tiny the grilled cheese sandwich was. It was no more than a little more then a half piece of bread with maybe two slices of cheese. I could barely see it. The waitress never came back so again I had to go up to the front and ask for the bill and a to-go container. She was too busy chatting to the other customers. I was taking the fries home with me I'm throwing them in my air fryer since they were so undercooked When we finally got the bill I was shocked $27??? It also said it was a combo of a grilled cheese and soup. I took the bill up to the front and told them that they made a mistake. We only got a grilled cheese sandwich that didn't come with any sides and we didn't order any soup. She told us it doesn't matter it's still the same price. Really then why didn't you tell us that when we ordered the grilled cheese sandwich??? Are you ready? NINE DOLLARS???! $9 Are you kidding for a pathetic tiny little grilled cheese sandwich that came with nothing. Well I will no longer be going to this Denny's anymore. I know where I can get a filet mignon stuffed with crab with mashed potatoes and a vegetable for $28. SMH...

Dennys on Bernardo Center! Great service, good food at decent prices!!! Coffee is perfect daily! Alex and the morning staff do it right!

If you visit Dennys and plan on paying with your EBT that they have accepted for quit some time now, not new to how to use the system just make sure before you swipe your card that they are entering the correct total before taxes. I have had multiple instances where their employees do not input the correct total and then they can't do anything about it after you have swiped your benefits card. Either give your employees more training on how to properly execute those transactions or just don't take it if you're going to keep charging patrons the incorrect amount. That's robbery and it's not fair especially when you already don't get much for your family in the first place! Just wanted to make people aware of this issue so you don't be here getting scammed and get your benefits back! read more

Had the Choconana Pancake Slam. The bananas were fresh. Some of the best pancakes i have ever had. Eggs were fine. Coffee tasted like coffee. Hashbrowns were good. Bacon was amazing. The service was fine. Our waiter was nice but kinda inattentive. I was really thirsty because the waiter took so long to come refill our drinks. The place looked like any average restaurant on the side of the road. It was packed full of little toy machine things. Seats were comfy. read more

I walked to the front podium to be greeted/seated by the host. When the woman lead with the limp saw a party of 2 walk in and decided to seat them instantly. Despite me being there first waiting for a good 5 minutes. After I was taken to my seat, I asked if I could have a table with an outlet. When the woman lead with the limp who sat me replied rudely "You are here to eat not to be on your phone" I chose to go out of my way and go to IHOP to get work done on my laptop for the atmosphere and kind service. Which was absolutely not present. They were not busy by any means, you could feel the tension with the waiters and the woman lead with the limp shouting back and forth, this was extremely upsetting uncomfortable and unprofessional. 10 minutes had gone by, multiple large parties that came after me had already been given water and coffee. That's when I decided to leave. My advice, if you are a single party. Do not go here. The waiters and the woman lead with the limp will pay you no mind. Their motive is large parties for large gratuities. It's very apparent. read more

omg. I think this is the 2nd bad review I've written in my lifetime.. so you know it's bad.. I got delivery twice.. both time it was way over priced and they'd forget syrup for pancakes, or butter for toast . the second time I ordered 2 breakfast plates, and an order of pancakes, and coffee. first of all they delivered it to the wrong house.. woke my neighbor up- now she's pissed.. the the total was 135.00. mother f**K**S. and no coffees. I will NEVER eat there again in any way shape or form read more

I have COVID so I ordered delivery. It took a long time to get it and when I did I noticed the cheese on the grilled cheese sandwich was so thick and solidified no longer warm or melty it was horrible so I threw it in the trash. Since I'm sick I thought I'd get a cup of soup I got more like a half a cup of soup I have not tried that yet. But there's something I cried over it's been many days since I had coffee and since I don't have access to a kitchen at the moment cuz I'm in quarantine I really wanted a cup of coffee and it was missing. The driver said they didn't give it to him and of course he can't do anything about it. So I called Denny's got the manager and he went on this thing about I have to text his cell phone and then I have to provide all the information my name and my order and I guess an order number and all of that which I don't know where that exists at the moment because I sprayed the receipt on the bag when it came into the house with alcohol. He said he would reimburse me I guess for the coffee well I told him he could just keep the money I was sick I needed to go back to bed and I can't deal with finding out all that information and writing down which I don't even have a way to write anything down his cell phone number and text him the information. I've had it I've had many problems with this Denny's like them giving me full pancake syrup each time I order pancakes when I order sugar free syrup because of my diabetic so then I don't get to eat the pancakes. They never remember the drinks just like today I should have known. For a grilled cheese and a coffee which is like $12 and something I paid over $22 in delivery for a trashed sandwich and no coffee but I did get a baggie full of creamer! We'll never return. And I only live 3 minutes away literally. read more

Placed an online order with this Denny's and had it delivered via DOORDASH. This is the last time that I will order from this or any other Denny's. I had placed an order totaling over $82.00 and when the food was delivered by this JERK of a driver I noticed that the extra sides of sausage that I had ordered for my two dogs were not there. I immediately called the doordash driver thinking that it may have fallen or got left in his vehicle: not only did this not happen but this HORRIBLE person cursed me out - with some very bright EXPLETIVES but also told me to call the restaurant since all he does is pick up the bag!!!!!!!!! I called the restaurant nearly 30 times during the evening, but not only did no one pick up by there was no ringing at all. May this place go out of business!!!!! read more

Delicious food at Denny's on a rainy day. Great service. Inside was very full this Sunday, we opted in for outdoor seating with our dog! It was so nice to see the rain while eating, it started as soon as we got to the Denny's. This Denny's gets fairly busy, that doesn't stop the fast service. You may have to wait or look for parking on busy days like today as the parking lot does fill up. We got some coffees & hot chocolates today. I ordered the T-bone steak & eggs breakfast with over medium eggs and hash browns. My boyfriend got the sirloin dinner with mashed potatoes. I ordered an English muffin but instead they brought toast after I had finished my eggs. I didn't mind since I enjoy it with some jam. My boyfriend also ordered some French toast while I got the new it's bananas salted caramel pancakes. They were honestly so delicious, I am not easily swayed! I usually enjoy some cinnamon pancakes but these blew me away!! We have some leftovers to take home too. Left so full and happy with the timing too. I'm glad that Denny's does unlimited refills for the hot cocoa & coffee. I was able to order a coffee first and then switch to hot cocoa. So nice that they honor that! read more

Our waitress was a sweetheart and a half. When we told her it was my hubby's birthday, she lit up and said, "My son's is next week!" and proceeded to tell us what they were going to do next week. Such a genuine gal and you could tell how much she loved her family. What a wonderful start to her our day. The co-habby was laughing because what I ended up getting cost more than his, lol. Well no kidding since his meal was on the house! I haven't been to a Denny's in forever so I ended up trying out their Chicken Fried Steak which was terrible for my arteries but my tummy sure appreciated. The co-habby got the Super Slam and thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The food was pretty standard but well prepared. The service is what truly shined that day and the main reason for the 4 stars. I should've wrote down the gal's name but sadly didn't. We will return though, just for her though. Cheers to lovely people who truly make a difference in people's day! read more

I have dined at the Denny's in RB many times and they have been consistently good with food and service! I usually enjoy breakfast there and the AARP discount makes that a reasonable deal. The very best waiter is Victor and I usually request his section if possible. He is so nice and always goes the extra mile to satisfy his customers. Give it a try! read more

Servers were just arguing with each other on who was gonna attend us. There were atleast 5 workers in the front just going back and forward we waited atleast 15 minutes and they just were looking at us and not even asking what we wanted to drink. It was my first time here I was with my wife and daughter so it was a terrible experience we got up and left and the workers just looked at each other and blamed each other for us leaving. read more

This Denny's is the best I have ever been to. Very clean. Service was excellent. Dirty dishes disappear in a blink of an eye. Food cooked to perfection. I had T-Bone Steak and Eggs with crispy hash browns. Steak was perfect medium rare and eggs over medium. This Denny's is a must try. read more

This review is solely for Paul H., our server that worked tonight. You are awesome. Seriously so great at your job. I've been eavesdropping in your interactions with the other guests-you are such a genuine person and the other servers that work at night can SURELY learn from you. Being a server is hard work, my best friend and I that are here tonight worked for years as a server. You have to deal with so many different personalities-we've been coming here for a few months and we are not sure if we lucked out and just picked a day where you were working. We were so impressed with your service I took it upon myself to email the Denny's corporate office to tell them how awesome you are and I really hope they give you the recognition that yoU so much deserve. Went to this dennys location and was hate crimed by another customer and also threatened to be killed. We weren't helped at all for at least 10 minutes, and ultimately chose to leave because the threats were too much, never coming back. read more

It is Denny's. Good food and breakfast served all day long. You can sit inside or outside. Service is a OK. Sometimes it is a bit of a wait for a coffee refill or for the bill to be delivered. If in a bit of a rush, not the best place to eat at. Staff is friendly. It can be busy most mornings especially on Sundays. Good amount of parking. read more

Not the Denny's in Vista on West Vista drive. The cooks have massacred my burgers three times by sending out chopped beef instead of the hamburger patty they are supposed to use. I believe they keep those for themselves. read more

What was supposed to happen: Order a simple cheeseburger from the app for pick.up. hop in, grab me food, get back to work. easy in and out. What DID happen. Showed up. waited 30 minutes. The kitchen didn't even get my order. wait longer. as of now I am still.wqitinf and I should have clocked out. I'll be going to a drive thru in the future when.I have late night munchies at work. I don't have the luxury of this slow order. I'll let you know if I ever get my order. read more

Tonight my husband and I were trying to have a relaxing dinner and the waitress was constantly standing over us or suddenly appearing and making us jump. We made some mistakes and fell for a scam because she was so all over us we couldn't think straight. We only list $50 but she needs to back off. We decided to capitalize on the kids eat free meal for a dinner out and it was definitely a mistake. I ordered steak and eggs while my husband ordered country friend steak. Kids ordered from the kids menu as directed from Denny's online advertisement. I should have said something about the insanely undercooked steak but I thought, times are tough and I didn't want to give them a hard time. Now I regret it because upon paying for our bill, apparently we didn't order a beverage so the kids meals were not free as advertised... the main reason why we even went there to begin with. Needless to say, I wrote a complaint on the company site because I feel like I was robbed and straight up disgusted. If I end up with food poisoning tonight, another letter or complaint will be sent out. read more

I want to love Denny's because it's always been the place to go late at night or early mornings when you don't want to make anything and you're feeling lazy . The service is always a hit or miss here , usually a miss and pretty slow service . The food is actually pretty good here when you get the basic breakfast plates or sandwiches . They are super slow when it comes to the to go orders which can be a pain. I would rather just sit down and eat . Make sure you search for a coupon because you can usually find one to help on the bill :) read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would. The minute we walked in the manager, Jay, was very rude. When he took my friends order of just nachos he cut her off and was ready to walk off without taking mine or my sisters order. There were gnats flying around us where we were sitting and on the walls. Then we finally got our nachos after they had mixed them up with someone else's and there was hair mixed in our nachos. The only good thing about this terrible experience is how nice the server, Sydney was. When my friend went to tell the server Jay had taken our order, he rudely interrupted my friend again even though my friend was just simply saying she didn't have to take our order since that is what she had come over to do. read more

This Dennys is a great location, the manager is so SUPER NICE!!! Husband and I went in, I had Beligum Waffle, husband had chicken fried chicken, both were so good. The service was excellent, there was no wait time. Clean and the restrooms are clean!! Great place to stop for a bite. read more

I arrived and studied here for a few hours, I told them my order and the lady who took it intentionally didnt pass it, I dont know why, but she had a very negative vibe about her and was hostile from the beginning. I will not support this business anymore. read more

We just went there after my grandson's high school concert. It was 10pm! The food was excellent and fresh! They even made me fresh decaf. One of the boys had never been! We all enjoyed it. Service was impeccable. Thank you for a great meal. read more

Very bad experience/ customer service.We usually frequent this place atleast 2x a month, at least we used to. I would give 5 star for those days. Today, we placed an online order for curbside pickup and the experience we had when we went for the curbside pick up of the placed order was not good. The customer service guy was unprofessional, to say the least.We order curbside pickup because of Covid-19, if we can go in we could have chosen ordinary pickup, ain't it???! Looks another Denny's customer, had very similar experience during curbside pickup at this location. Denny's manager needs to fix these issues. read more

My husband and I stopped by for a quick breakfast at 4am. Our server Lenore W. was an exceptional server, very courteous and friendly. She took care of us making sure our coffee was topped off and assisted with our left overs. Must come here for the delicious food and excellent service. read more

Overall, the food was decent but nothing especially memorable. The lamb chops were cooked nicely but could have used more seasoning, and the poke tacos were tasty but tiny -- literally about the size of my pinky for each taco. We were disappointed they had sold out of both the Crème Brûlée Bread Pudding and the Budino, which were the desserts we originally wanted to try. Thankfully, the Butter Toffee Cake completely saved dessert for us -- absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. Prior to our outing, I sent my family several recommendations for lunch with two burger joints in Escondido and one restaurant in our neck of the woods. The Shop was the last rec and I knew my brother and SIL would probably pick this spot because it serves cocktails and I was right. We enjoyed the food, my family enjoyed their adult beverages, the ambience was really good, and I thought the customer service had some opportunities. The Shop is located in Rancho Bernardo, specifically on Bernardo Center Drive. The restaurant can be found within the Rancho Bernardo Town Center shopping center amongst a group of eateries. Vons is the anchor store and some of the other tenants are the following: The Kebab Shop, China Fun, San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour, BHC Chicken, SDNY'S, and Casa Lahori. There is plenty of free parking at this shopping center. The Shop has plenty of outdoor umbrella covered seating and a spacious indoor eating area. Inside, there is bartop seating overlooking an assortment of adult beverages, there is a good amount of wooden tables and wooden chairs, and there is a long wooden fixed bench with a white brick wall where you'll lean your back onto as you dine. The Shop has decorative light fixtures, a character and boom box decal on one wall, framed black and white pics on another wall, and there's a television above the bar where we watched World Cup soccer. Our waitress and the staff we interacted with were friendly, but I wished our waitress checked up on us more often. I asked one of the staff, a smaller young lady, for a refill of my Shirley Temple and for a box for our leftovers, but it took awhile for those requests to be taken care of. One of my gym friends asked me whether I had dined at The Shop and after telling him I had not, he recommended this restaurant and mentioned that it served memorable cocktails. My brother and SIL are bourbon aficionados, so I knew they'd select The Shop to eat lunch at after they checked out the Yelp business link I had sent them as one of the three recommendations. I don't indulge in adult beverages, but my family ordered Old Fashioned drinks and they appeared to enjoy their drinks. Prior to grubbing at The Shop, I couldn't tell what type of cuisine it serves, but I now know that they specialize in Italian cuisine. They serve starters, cheese + charcuterie, salads, sandwiches, housemade pastas, signature pizzas, desserts, and sides. We decided to share appetizers, so we ordered two orders of freshly baked garlic rolls and my family ordered the spinach artichoke dip. We got to The Shop around 12:30pm and a few minutes after we ordered our starters, we were told the spinach artichoke dip was sold out. We were bummed that after opening at 11am, they were sold out of that dip. The garlic rolls were made with garlic, herb butter, and parmesan. They were fresh and tasty. Instead of the artichoke dip, my brother ordered the burrata bruschetta. That bruschetta was fresh tasting and yummy. For our entree, the wife and I ordered one of their deep dish pizzas, which is considered one of their specialties. We selected the Old Town, which comes with pepperoni, mushrooms, white onions, green bell peppers, fresh garlic, and black olives. The Shop needs to be visited for its deep dish pizzas. We ordered the 9" small and it was big enough to share. It was cheesy, fresh, had an abundant amount of ingredients, and I thought the crust was delicious. That pizza was appetizing and filling. My family and I had a wonderful date day outing experiencing The Shop for the first time. I definitely want to try out their pastas, sandwiches, and their meat pizza. Hopefully they won't run out of their spinach artichoke dip the next time we visit.

We drive an HOUR to this freaking place to get turned away at the door because it's technically "a bar" even though they have a full dinner menu. When I point out none of this is advertised anywhere, I'm informed it's on Open Table, and that we should've seen it there, and were dismissed. They said they could give us another restaurant recommendation and then proceeded to just dismiss us without even that courtesy. We go back to verify this age limit, and it's there... one TINY line 2 scrolls down on the page, WAY beyond any of the information needed to just book a table, which is the only thing Open Table is used for. If I could give no stars I would…read more... I celebrated my 45th birthday on Friday, July 17, and I had been looking forward to visiting Born & Raised for the very first time. I don't frequent San Diego, so this was a special occasion for me. I was excited that they were able to accommodate my 8:30 p.m. reservation. In fact, it meant so much to me that I even canceled our sunset cruise so we could enjoy dinner there. We arrived on time and were immediately impressed by the beautiful ambiance. I asked one of the hostesses if it would be possible to be seated on the rooftop because of the beautiful lights everyone raves about. She told me there was a waitlist but promised she would continue checking since it was my birthday. Unfortunately, that's where the experience began to decline. Our waitress greeted us initially, but as the evening went on, we noticed we were receiving very little attention. She only had three tables, all within our view, yet she consistently attended to the other two parties while we were largely ignored. After we finished eating, we sat for over 30 minutes without anyone checking on us or acknowledging that we were ready for our check. To make matters worse, a photographer came through our section taking photos of every table except ours. While that may have been unintentional, combined with everything else that happened, it added to the feeling that we simply didn't matter. Eventually, we asked a concierge to locate our waitress so we could get our check. Fifteen minutes passed, and still no one came. I finally got up myself and walked to the hostess stand to ask for assistance. Only then did a manager come over. I explained how disappointed I was with the service. She apologized and offered complimentary desserts and cocktails, but at that point I had no desire to extend my stay. The issue was never about free food or drinks, it was about how unwelcome we had been made to feel. As a Black woman, that feeling is heartbreaking because you never want to wonder whether you're being treated differently. I can't say with certainty what motivated the treatment we received, but the consistent lack of attention, being overlooked while others around us were served, and how invisible we felt left me questioning whether we truly belonged there. The manager ultimately comped our entire meal, and while I appreciated her taking responsibility financially, no amount of money could erase what should have been a joyful birthday memory. The waitress never returned to our table after the manager became involved. As we left, several staff members stood at the host stand watching us. The manager had promised to bring me her business card but never did. Instead, she simply watched us walk out. I had anticipated an unforgettable birthday dinner for all the right reasons. Instead, it became unforgettable for all the wrong ones. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Born & Raised. Every guest should feel welcomed, valued, and treated with the same level of care and respect. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had on what was supposed to be a very special night.

Food is pretty much consistent from one Denny's to the next. Not fine dining, of course, but with two young kids, your dollar goes a long way here. The food quality for breakfast, lunch and dinner is good. The staff here is awesome. This location in RB has the best evening manager. She is always quick to greet customers and makes every effort to ensure things are satisfactory. The place is clean with plenty of parking. Kitchen speed is hit and miss, but the service staff does not ignore you and keeps you updated on your order when the food is coming out slow from the grill. We come here maybe once every two weeks, sometimes more often. I have never witnessed a rowdy group of people like I remember at other Denny's locations late night when a teenager (I was part of those rowdy groups). This place caters to senior citizens and young families. Newly re-decorated and it looks very nice. read more

Denny's is my guilty pleasure, and I don't care who knows. Sometimes there's just nothing better than stuffing your face into a gargantuan double cheeseburger with murky brown grease pooling on the plate from a waterfall that deltas in your mouth. It's certainly not something I could do every day, but once in a while there's nothing quite like it. Needless to say, I've never left disappointed. I've always commenced my meals with a mission to overindulge and by golly I accomplish that mission every single time. If you've been to one Denny's then you've probably been to them all. It's clean, the service is polite, and the food will keep you on the toilet well into the night. What more could you ask for? read more

This Denny's is a great choice, conveniently located right off the 15 FWY at Bernardo Center Dr and Avena Pl, with plenty of parking. We stopped in for the 24/7 convenience and classic favorites. I decided to try something a bit different and ordered the 'Bourbon Bacon Sirloin Steak.' The steak was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. It came with fresh, classic mashed potatoes and broccoli with that authentic Denny's flavor I've come to expect. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and well-organized. Service was exceptional, shoutout to our server, Juana. She was attentive and welcoming, ensuring we had a good experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back. read more

Time after time I have had a negative experience here. I usually need to ask 3 or 4 times for a refill on coffee before they even acknowledge me. The coffee never comes out hot, and they hardly give enough milk. That's just the coffee. The food here is very poor quality, and there are often mistakes. I asked for no butter on my toast, and sure enough it had butter. When i sent it back they made the same mistake again. This is an place that I will not only be avoiding, but I strongly advise anyone who has a decent sense of taste to as well. read more

i think that the last time i have been to dennys on 70 street in la mesa was back in 1994. i didnt know much about pricing. well i went to dennys in RB 6 days ago, i look at the menue, the pictures look pretty stale and cut my appetite, well it was the only place open at that time before midnite, was a bit hungry after a longday of work in the realestate. go there is you really stranded and no food in your fridge and you are about to die from hunger, and make sure you pay a big bill for a small item. whatever, read more

I've been coming to Denny's for a long period of time. The dollar menu is a steal for getting a quick breakfast. I typically order the value slam with my eggs poached, two pancakes, and two links of sausage for $4.00. You can't go wrong with that deal. The waitresses are lovely, and the manager of who runs this store is truly a gentlemen. They will always get my business. read more

This is the cleanest Denny I have seen . It is not to easy find a 24 hours restaurant in north SD,so I go to Denny's once a week, when I work late night. Yesterday, me and my wife we went there, and in side of restaurant was looks very clean. This place is an institution. They're always open. Good service. Full menu. Just pay attention to when you are going to avoid that old white crowd of people. Those folks come in the morning.
