Worse experience ever. Visited Denny's to get a quick late night dinner and ended up waiting over 2 hours to get served!! I showed up at 10PM and we waited close to half an hour to get our order taken. The girl was friendly so we didn't think too much of it. Then after an hour one of us got our meal. I was then stuck waiting for my meal. It took so long I just had to complain but after complaining I was told the manager gave my meal to someone else.....but they are rushing one out for me......really from the time I placed my order it was already close to 2 hours. Anyway I was just about done waiting and the manager shows up and pretty much throws my order on the table and before I can say a word leaves.......wow...... I complained saying I need to get some kind of discount or something because this is insane and was told sorry the manager rejected any discount or to provide anything.... the girl was embarrassed. I tried to speak with him but the manager just refused to come talk to me....and would reply via the girl..... I hope whoever reads this does something about this guy. Waited over 45 minutes and never got our food. Ordered less than 5 minutes after a group of 10, watched them get their food fairly quickly, 15 minutes maybe? We were still waiting as they got their checks and the waitress took the group's photo while others in the restaurant tried to get her attention. After watching this for about 3 minutes, I finally put a $5 down to pay for my tea and walked out. Neither she nor the manager even batted an eye. Not even an apology? I once over heard a Cheesecake Factory waitor say "If i wanted a $2 tip i would've worked at Denny's." But don't worry Denny's.. Sometimes cooked to perfection and sometimes not. I also usually order the Philly Melt w/ seasoned fries. Probablly my favorite dish there. And if i want to order breakfast, anything with hashbrown is good for me. And i've always tried to copy the way they make toast and butter, but it doesn't turn out the same way.. lol Service: Service can vary too. I once walked out with my Dad because a party of 20+ people ordered after us (wayyyy after us) got there food before us (every single one of them), and it was just us 2. Husband and I are regulars here!!! We even came here for Thanksgiving - better than cooking all day!! We both decided to try the Slow-Cooked Pot Roast, and it was GREAT!!!! I needed to bring some home because the portion was so big! Four scoops of mashed potatoes, two big pieces of toasted bread, lots of pot roast with veggies!!! (see pic) This Dennys also has extension plugs so you can bring your laptop to the table, and they offer discounts to anyone with a student ID! Today me my wife and kids had dinner at Dennys inSan Dimas , my check was $65 dollars i left the store and walked back in 10 min after and asked to refill my drink and for a cup of water and I was charged $5.18 for a refill of soda and a cup of water I have never had this happen and I been coming to dennys for years the manager Angelica was rude and relayed to me I should of got a refill before I left out the door real it's going to make the Dennys go out of business for a dam refill I will never go to this Dennys ever again the worse customer service ever all over a refill read more

The food was mediocre which could have been overlooked had the service been up to par. Ordered a South by Southwest skillet and it was pretty good. Though the chicken was a bit rubbery in some bites. They didn't have the potatoes that go with the meal but hash browns made a good replacement. I could look over those two things but when my bill was brought out within 5 minutes of getting my meal I felt rushed. They didn't offer a refill on my coffee which had been empty for the length of me eating my meal. Manager came to register after waiting for a while, did not apologize for the wait just took the money and walked away. Haven't been to Denny's for some time but after visiting this particular location, I'm definitely coming back!!! Our server, Am was the epitome of customer service,& hospitality. Her SMILE alone lit up the room!!! We were never left wanting because Am was consistently checking on us, fillling our coffee & water glasses. We were there for breakfast & our selections did not disappoint. I can highly recommend the Red, White & Blue Slam. Watched the employee playing on his phone for around 10 minutes until he saw me in the parking lot. He approached the door and pointed towards a sign that said that the establishment was closed except for online to go orders and promptly walked away to play on his phone again. I stood at the door to get his attention again and he then asked if I had a to go order, I responded yes and gave him my name. At this point he started preparing my order, mind you it's now around 15 minutes after the app said my order was "ready for pick up". I went on a Tuesday evening and they only had only one server seating and serving about 10 tables. So, as you can imagine, service was quite slow. Quite frequently my refreshment stayed empty. The food also took over 10 minutes to receive after placing our order for two kids meals and a country fried steak. On Tuesday's and Saturday's from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, the kids eat for free with an adult entree which is convenient and great for me with two kids. I also like that they're open 24 hours. We had a party of 6 go to your restaurant after our bowling league tonight 12-6-19. We waited about 5min for someone to seat us. But they were to busy talking to each other so we grabbed menu's and sat ourselves. The waiter finished talking and came over to take our drink order. When he comes back with our drinks he stands at one end of table and has us pass the drinks down to the other end instead of walking around to each person. He comes back takes our food order then when we tell him it's separate checks he gets an attitude. We get our food and it's nothing special. Kind of bland and luke warm. As we are almost done my son asked what's that crawling from under the table across from us. I look down and it's a roach. So I take pics and a video of it crawling back under the table. When the rest of my party hears us talk about the roach they all lost their appetite and stopped eating. We all get up to pay for our food and as I'm paying the lady asked how our meal was. So I told her and showed her the pics and video. She said with an attitude does it show the date and time? I showed her it said 10:08pm when I took pics and video. We left at 10:31. She proceeds to tell us they don't have roaches and they have people spray for them so it's impossible. So here I am writing this review. We won't be going back anytime soon. read more

My wife and went in for the 7.99 grand slam breakfast. Gail explain the difference between the 6.99 and the 7.99 grand slam. The 7.99 grand slam has unlimited pancakes. My wife verbally stated she wanted the 6.99 because she couldn't eat so many pancakes. I verbally stated I'll have the 7.99 grand slam. This is our new go to Denny's because it's the closest location and they always have great customer service. During my most recent visit; I ordered the pot roast dish and my husband ordered the pumpkin spice pancakes. Both were delicious (I had to try the pancakes) Our server (who's name I forgot to take note of, Urgh!) Was friendly and checked on us frequently. Our overall visit was about 45 minutes, over food came out quickly. Very satisfied with our overall visit to this Denny's location, we will definitely be back soon. read more

As a vegan, this was not an enjoyable experience for me. I built my own burger with a beyond patty, no cheese, grilled onions mushrooms and avocado. It also came with lettuce, raw onion, pickles and tomatoes. When it was brought to the table it had bacon AND cheese. I don't know how this could have been a mix up. I usually am not one to leave reviews but they also put bell pepper on my burger which was not asked for. They tore off the cheese and just removed the bacon which left my patty with no sides haha. I'm vegan and I ordered a BLT on sourdough bread without mayo and asked if they could substitute the bacon for avocado instead, which I was told no. The waitress told me that she could leave out the bacon but I would still pay full price for the BLT and that she would add avocado but that I would be charged extra. When I asked her why she couldn't make the swap, she said "because there isn't a button for that on the cash register." Are you kidding me? You're seriously going to charge be full price for a BLT even though I'm not getting bacon and still charge me extra for avocado? It should be one or the other, not both!
