Today we drove to Searchlight to meet up with my wife's parents. Searchlight is a small town, but it is halfway between my wife's parents' home and ours. My in-laws and myself decided to have breakfast, and my wife had a sandwich. All of our meals showed up very well prepared, and we all enjoyed everything we ordered. Denny's in right next to a Terrible Herbst, so we gambled a bit. Inside things are well separated. I noticed some families with children and some older folks. The entire place was clean and the folks that served us were very pleasant and took some time to talk to us. Denny's can catch a bad rap at times, but in our opinion, we enjoy Denny's due to their variety of things you order. Overall, we had a very nice time and left with a few extra dollars in our pocket. Whomever was cooking today the 20th was spot on with cooking the T-bone steak. We do recommend stopping if you have the time. read more

Randomly decided to stop at this Denny's for lunch while driving back to Southern California from the Las Vegas. I was kind of blown away by the quality of the service. Fast, professional, and nice employees. My server Michael was especially great! Definitely deserves a promotion of some kind. Could totally see him running a Michelin-starred restaurant someday. The Denny's was really busy as it's really the only casual dining restaurant in Searchlight, and is attached to a casino, but the food nonetheless came out quickly and was very tasty! Highly recommend this place for travelers who feel like getting off the 15 freeway for a while. read more

Lynda is a very sweet and nice server, a person that takes care of all her guests in her section! Thank you Lynda for being so kind and giving my husband and I the best service possible. You were awesome!! The guy at the front is very rude, when we asked for a booth we were told that he can't sit us there because he has to follow a proper seating rotation. But there were plenty of open booths. I'm a restaurant manager and if a guest would request a booth we would make sure to accommodate that request especially if the table was available. Oreana is such a treasure, and was from the moment we sat down she made us feel welcomed and valued as customers. Frankly she made us feel more like friends, and she didn't push, gave us time, and once we started our meal she was on top of everything we needed without having us feel pressured. EVERYTHING about stopping here was perfect. We have a service dog with us, and Oreana was respectful, and asked if she could say hello to Ingie before touching him. Then Tom also came out and asked if Ingie could have a bit of sausage. We will totally return here everytime we come through the area because this restaurant hits all the marks, and is so worth the five stars, honestly I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. The server was not very attentive as it took several attempts to clarify some order details. My mother ordered macaroni and cheese, she got a baby-sized portion, served in a condiment bowl, and the cheese in everyone's order tasted awful, like it was made from cheese whizz. Amazing food and service! We came in on our way out of town after a family trip with 11 people! Staff quickly put a few tables together and got our drinks and food order in! Oreana (our waitress) was so attentive and every coffee cup stayed full and hot! Our food was served quickly and everyone finished everything because it was so delicious!
