If I could rewind time to when Denny's was a good, cost effective place, I certainly would!!! The food has been terrible at the last 2 Denny's we've been to, food undercooked TWICE! We sent one full plate of food back to be cooked longer, it came back with only half the food, and was STILL undercooked!!! And the prices!!! Holy crap! What happened to reasonably priced eggs?!? Almost $4.00 for a cup of coffee?!? Almost $4.00 for a diet Coke?!? WTH??? Not to mention the outrageous food prices, for terribly prepared product! We are done with Denny's FOREVER!!!!!! read more

On our way to from LV to Laughlin we decided to stop for breakfast at Denny's in Searchlight. Little did we know that it was probably going to be our best move of the day! This hidden gem had one of the tastiest breakfasts we ever had! Our server, Oreana, was so pleasant and friendly, and when I couldn't make up my mind about what toast I wanted, she recommended the artisan toast, which was so perfect! The hubby wound up with the steak and eggs, and I wound up with The Build Your Own Omelette with American cheese, spinach, bacon, and sausage. In a word, outstanding! Despite the fact that this Denny's is located inside a small casino, it was quiet and peaceful when we went there! My hubby and I are both groaning about how good everything was! If you go there...ask for Oreana, get the artisan toast and enjoy!! This Denny's is getting 5 stars...2 from my husband, 2 from me, 1 for good measure! read more

This place might possibly have been the largest collection of slow-minded, slow-moving people I've ever experienced in a restaurant setting. We arrived at 12:30 on a Sunday for lunch and were told we could not be seated because they were trying to figure out how to sit a party of 11 people. So, my wife and young children were forced to wait in a cigarette smoke filled waiting room for 15 minutes until someone could figure out how to grab some menus and walk us to a booth. We were seated at the booth for a couple minutes when the hostess came back to us and said, " hey, just so you know, the kitchen is really behind and your food is going to take 30 minutes or more once you order." it was obvious that the hostess told the rest of the staff that she has sat us and the other staff members didn't want to serve us, and so the hostess was trying to make us go away. Well, guess what, it worked. My family sat at the table and was completely ignored by the entire staff for over 10 minutes and so we just got up and left and no one even noticed or cared. Maybe they could tell we weren't from around there.... Thankfully. Didn't think it was possible to get Denny's wrong, but there you go. read more

We were a party of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids). We only got waters and 2 kids drinks. The young lady that took our drink order was aloof and seemed very (could care less, which I know a lot of places were understaffed). But we waited for water then our appetizer came with no dipping sauce so we are it dry. Then I went up to the young lady to ask for water and some sauce for our table. She said she'd bring it later with our food. My father in law had to go up and ask for salt and pepper, someone else paid attention to him. So we sat with no refills on even the water and waited for the food. Waited again for the check (there was one other table mind you). I had to go to the kitchen to do for someone to come take our payment. Really not impressed which is sad because it's already a small town and could use the business. Bummer read more

Had to check out the new Denny's in Searchlight, especially since we used to eat at The Nugget & every time we tried to eat at Terribles they were closed. Plus... 2 horrible reviews. WTH?! It's Denny's. Not my favorite franchise for dining but they usually have a decent breakfast & it's Searchlight and if they're at all good, we NEED a restaurant! Well, surprise, surprise. It looked neat & clean inside. We were greeted & seated immediately, "anywhere you like". Drink order came quickly. It was near closing but they put on a free pot of coffee for me. The wife ordered the wild caught grilled salmon with mashed potatoes & zucchini. I ordered the senior grilled chicken breast, creamed corn & broccoli. Both came with dinner toast. Mine came with soup or salad & the salad was large, fresh & had iceberg lettuce, grape tomatoes, grated cheddar, cucumber & croutons. My chicken wasn't huge, but it's the Senior Version & it was cooked perfectly, light brown skinless outer & moist inner. The creamed corn was hot & flavorful. The broccoli wasn't over cooked. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The wife's salmon was grilled with a garlic butter & wasn't fishy at all. The mashed potatoes & zucchini were "good, not great but good". Before my wife's Coke was half empty she was brought another. My coffee cup never got below half full. Half & half made it even better. We were both full but I couldn't pass up $2 pumpkin pie. I joked to the waitress, Nili, that "there's no such thing as too much whipped cream on pumpkin pie" & she brought it with a normal topping AND a small saucer with extra. Sweet. So, is it The Nugget? No. It's open. It's good as any Denny's I've been to and IT'S OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK IN SEARCHLIGHT! Two really good dinners with drinks & desert for $30. We'll be back. read more

Worst place to eat. Waited to be seated and then asked if we wanted drinks little did we know that would be the last time she'd check on us. The gal waiting on us was the Manager and delivered my husband a visibly burnt sandwich. Last time we saw her. No extra napkins even when the drink spilled from the glass being greasy.
