I asked for my sante fe without any mushrooms and it came with mushrooms I wasn't gonna send it back and wait another half an hour because supposedly it was very busy. I also ordered my daughters the jr grand slam with their pancakes with strawberries and bananas, it came to our table with strawberry syrup and when I asked the waiter to have it fixed he had an attitude about it. Next I ordered grain pancakes for my husband and got regular pancakes I also ordered him a side of fruit the strawberries were going bad already had slimy texture. So for Denny's...it was redeeming, actually. I went to my first Denny's last year, in another state, and it was beyond awful. This was a good one. I mean, at least the potatoes were cooked. Got into SEATAC around 3AM with a 12 hour layover. Denny's happens to be the only business open 24 hours, and as a bonus it has wifi, coffee and cheap breakfast. I was mainly looking for the wifi and the coffee, since I had a final paper due in the morning. While the coffee was delicious, and the restaurant was open 24 hours, this is where the rave review ends. The wifi here was out. I asked our waitress to try fixing it by resetting the router, to which she responded that it would be impossible because it was up on the roof. "No, ma'am, the router is not on the roof." "Ok, I'll notify the manager." So the manager was notified, and while I was waiting, another customer informed me that he was there the day before and the wifi was out then too. Waitress comes back and informs me it was a swing manager and that they didn't know how to fix it. All of this could be forgiven if Denny's made killer breakfast food, but either they don't or I ordered the wrong thing on the menu. I ordered the Santa Fe skillet, and yuck. By far the funniest Denny's. The waiter does not dare offer just regular water, but instead calls it gourmet liquid ice =) And he does a whole show in serving you and your party. Got seated immediately then spent the next 5-10 minutes looking over the menu without having a waitress stop by. Finally it seemed like a manager told someone to go ahead and take my order for someone else. Took my order and got my food in what seemed like 2 minutes so that should have told me something. I looked pretty good but the chicken fried steak was really peppery and the cheddar potatos were alright and the corn was pretty flavorless. I ate and sat with an empty drink for 10 minutes or so. Was never checked on after I got my food until the waitress helping the tables close to mine saw that I had been sitting there with my utensils and napkin on my empty plate for a while. No complaints from me on this branch of Denny's, yesterday my friend and I decided to meet up for a classic dennys brunch. However, unbeknownst to me, there are two dennys within a mile of each other on international boulevard. To make a long story short I went to the wrong one, but I am glad because the atmosphere in that dennys was simply off. In the correct dennys, our server gave us the choice of a beverage AND a juice with my grand slam. Not much else to be said besides the back parking lot of this dennys was a cool but hot area to hang out after we had finished eating. Christmas Day I met family here for dinner prior to my active duty son and daughter in law departing back to home after a great holiday together and not seeing each other for over a year. We arrived about 450pm and requested a table for 9. We were promptly seated and awaited my Uncle, Aunt and Niece whom Musharraf son hadn't seen in over 8 years. Our waitress Liliana was nice but had trouble requesting a change to one thing on our order. We all were sitting and catching up, enjoying family being together and our dinner finally began arriving. My chicken fried steak was mushy and potatoes ice cold. Everyone's food arrived and we awaited for about another 5 minutes for my daughters spaghetti and meatballs. When the manager brought it out, he walked passed her, all the way around the table, and reached across my older daughters glass and Plate hitting and flicking her straw from her glass. No excuse me, I'm sorry nothing; acted like nothing happened. We all continued our dinner and after being there an hour and fifteen minutes were rudely and abruptly interrupted by the manager telling us we needed to leave they need to bus our tables that other customers needed to be seated. There was a family of three waiting, three booths and a table in our section open, at least three tables open in the section behind us with people leaving, and a few other tables open in another section with people leaving also. Apparently paying customers are only allowed to eat at this establishment and not allowed to socialize. This is the first in all the years our family has gone to this Denny's prior to not after flights, or any other Denny's for that matter, been ushered out like we were doing something wrong, like we were loitering, which clearly was not the case with a $178 tab. I will tell EVERYONE we know NOT to go here! I will report this to corporate that the customer service from the Manager was VERY uninviting and unprofessional. You DO NOT treat paying customers the way we were treated. When I told him while at the register how rude he was to usher us out he dismissed me like I was some worthless piece of being. If I treated people or my patients the way he treats his customers, I would not have a job! Just ordered delivery from this Denny's, took about 3 hours to get here, partially to blame the delivery service they use. When I finally got my nearly cold food I was eating it, I bit into rocks. There was rocks in my food. When I called the store to see what happened they told me they don't have rocks there, (like you can't track them in from outside places and they're not everywhere) and that the delivery service put the rocks in my food. I placed an order for omelette and side of sausage links from uber eats. The estimated time was 30-40 mins, BUT I received in 1 hour and 40 mins, because "THEY ARE BUSY". No one ever showed up to our table. There were hardly any customers in the restaurant, so it's not because they were busy. One waitress was sitting down eating and another was rolling silverware. Never mind there are customers who need to be waited on. A customer behind us summoned a waitress for refills and she referred him to another waitress instead of refilling his drink.
