I came in yesterday and this place was packed..although they were short staffed everyone was working really hard to accommodate everyone's needs in a timely manner. Server said there was a manager cooking and we saw the other one seating people and cashing people out. I just wanted to take the time to recognize the staff and management team for their hard work. I keep trying because it's close to work. And I normally like their fries. But I keep getting disappointed. For a restaurant right off the highway, you'd hope they'd be well run. But no: they seem to be very poorly managed. Not the first time they were out of stock of half the menu... at noon...on a regular weekday. No burgers. No fried chicken. No cheese sticks. Terrible long waits sometimes; but not always. Very pricey. Most lunch sandwiches with a meager amount of fries are around $12. Add a $3 drink and tip, and this is no longer a lunch price point. Today: Visible snot running down my waitress' face, until she wiped it with her hand. She was very nice but, wow, I wish she could have afforded to take the day off if she's sick. I knew i was in trouble once i waited close to 10 minutes to be seated. Hash browns under cooked and coffee was horrible after waiting an additional 10 minutes to be served a fresh pot. Average 2.5 stars seems to me some ppl have been very kind to this place. read more

The waitress we had was very sweet, and the food came out relatively fast. It's pretty nice in here, and it's hopping with business. I had the bourbon chicken skillet and it was good. If I come here again though, I will probably get breakfast because it looked delicious. I think a lot of people liked the flax pancakes. Also, everything seemed very clean. read more

If I could give a negative star I would. The servers are very efficient and nice here but the food is extremely inconsistent. Today I had the $6.00 Chocobanana Panckes & Bacon. The pancakes were okay. The bacon was repulsive to even think about eating from the rubbery, raw and yet burned at the same time sight. My dad ordered egged over "medium" and the whites were runny. His hash browns barely cooked. His only redeeming part of the meal was the gravy & biscuits. I had not been here in months and at this point will never come back. Horrible meal. Got up early on a Sunday to go fishing and were starving by the afternoon. We decided to try this location as I have been craving Denny's for months and we found this one located close to where we were. This Denny's is located in a Flying-J Truck Stop. The truck stop itself was pretty clean and stocked and made for a good place to shop around while we waited to be seated. We were told 15-20 minute wait but it ended up being almost an hour. We came during church rush and they seemed a little short staffed just like everywhere else these days. Once we were seated though our server totally made up for the wait. She was super busy but stayed so kind and never missed a beat. We woke up at 4:00am so by noon we were famished and downright hangry. I think we ordered one of each on the menu but our server didn't even bat an eye! She kept our drinks full and brought all our food out hot and fresh. The food was all good and I'm so glad I finally got my Moons Over My Hammy (with extra crispy bacon instead of ham), fix! So all in all I think the wait was definitely worth it! If we find ourselves in this area in the future we will definitely visit again!!! I'm just sorry we didn't get the servers name:( read more

Denny's can be pretty hit or miss. I've been in there when they have plenty of staff and have great service. I've also been in when there is 1 waitress running EVERY table. It was bad. So instead of telling you about my good or bad experience, here are some pros and cons. Pros: Good breakfast Good steak, cooked how I like everytime Good pancakes and choices for pancakes Their value menu has quite a bit to offer if you're looking for something cheap. Staff is usually very friendly. Open all day and night If they'll screw up or take too long, they usually will make up for it in free appetizers. Cons: Can be understaffed Long waits 50% of the time Crepes are terribly made Ice cream on pancakes tends to come out already melted. Tends to be dirty if you're coming at night/early morning. Food comes out cold 50% of the time. Bad at making sure you're good on drinks. I've never had a waitress here who can keep up with drinks. read more

I stopped at Denny's for dinner at about 4:30, very few people eating that early but still took 5-10 minutes to get seated. There was trash on the floor the whole time I was there. Wait staff were not very friendly, but not rude either. As for the food, I had a broccoli chicken skillet. Normally it comes with Texas toast or garlic toast, not here. Also some how they managed to get it both overcooked and still partially cold. The only reason I would eat here again is if I was stuck here, because even with all that was wrong it was still better than another subway sandwich which is your other choice here read more

So, Denny's. Not great. Not horrible. My husband had the country fried steak breakfast. The hash browns were really good but the steak was just decent. I had the Fit Slam breakfast. The eggs were fine, but really heavy on the spinach (more spinach than eggs). The turkey bacon was amazing! The fruit bowl tasted.... Um... Old. So, some really goods and some "meh's". If you know me, you know that I try to stick to locally owned restaurants, non chains, whenever possible. However, you ALSO know my love for Denny's. After spending long hours on the road, sometimes I just want something familiar. This Denny's is doubly special...it's located inside a truck stop. Let me repeat that. A Denny's inside of a truck stop. That's pretty much heaven to me. Every menu at every Denny's I've ever been in has been the same. It's the little touches that make this one special. The servers are always friendly and seem to appreciate us being there. And, I've got to say, for the money, Denny's may well have the best chain burger in the business. For what it is, amazing service and food! The pancakes are perfect! I always custom order and they're always on point.

I am not pleased with the service. Why? Where do I begin... 1.) The service was slow as ever. Our hostess wasn't great at all. She lost our order and had to retake our order. 2.) My brother was overall dissatisfied with the experience. He ordered a bacon avocado burger, cooked medium. The hostess stated that because of Mad Cow Disease and Denny's code of ethics, they couldn't cook the meat below well done and the only type of meat they could do that would be steak. HOW IS THAT ANY DIFFERENT? 3.) Both my brother and I work in food service (him at Friendly's, me at Dairy Queen) and both him and I are made aware of our codes so that way we cook the meat to how our customers want it, no questions asked. 4.) My chicken tenders were freezer burnt. Absolutely disgusted. Need I say more? Goes to show that this Denny's is not clean nor customer oriented. Never eating at this branch EVER again. Newly renovated! Super clean and nice. The nicest Denny's I've ever been in. Food was great and they even give you to go coffee cups when you leave to take your coffee. I'm a gluten free vegetarian and they had a great vegetable omelet and amazing gluten free English muffin! Apparently it used to be run down and not as good before renovated which is why I wanted to review it because just went there and it was great!! read more

Our server, Tiffany was much more worried about her 5 lbs of makeup and fluffing her boobs than she was about customer service. Wish I could give zero stars We were there at 130am. Waitress had 4 tables including ours. She complained how she was only person there. We waited for twenty minutes listening to her stomp and huff and puff with no drink. We left and she said "he's cooking now" we told her we would like something to drink. She said okay then I will cancel. Really?? She was a manager!!!!!! If you can't handle four tables you are in the wrong line of work sweetheart. I was a waitress and we had 12-14 tables apiece. Our experience here was not good at all. Our table was sticky in multiple places. My husband ordered the pancake hush puppies and the country fried steak breakfast skillet. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns extra crispy. We waited for 50 minutes after ordering for our food to come out. When our food FINALLy came out my hash browns were barely cooked and all of my food was lukewarm. My husband's country fried steak breakfast skillet was totally missing the country fried steak. I mean come on people! It's called a COUNTRY FRIED STEAK breakfast skillet and you forgot the steak?!?!? He sent it back and they did fix it. After visiting this Denny's several times, I give it a 4/5. The food is always fresh, hot, and made to order as well as being good quality. If you like warm, freshly fried doughnut holes, like me, then you'll probably enjoy the Pancake Puppies. They are one of my favorites, but a little too much to eat for one person. The wait time on food is good, and it comes out a bit quicker than other sit-down restaurants. Despite being attached to a gas station, the restaurant is quite large, clean, and well taken care of. The only criticism I have is the friendliness of their servers. Most of the servers seem a bit miserable and don't put forth much effort to be happy or welcoming. The servers typically do a fine job, but the added friendliness and more positive demeanor would be nice. read more
