A great location when you've flown in on a late flight to GEG - Spokane Intn'l Airport and most places are closed, this Denny's is open. Been there twice, and the service was great. We sat down and waited about 10 minutes till we even got menus and drinks (there was only 2 other tables) and then after ordering we waited an hour and 10 minutes to get our food and the porkchop i had ordered was completely charred on one side and the other i could barley get my fork through. I was staying at the Best Western across the parking lot and needed to grab something to eat. I headed over to Denny's for some dinner. The restaraunt is very clean and the staff are all so friendly! I ordered an Avacado Bacon Cheese Burger with seasoned fries and a glass of milk. Every bite was absolutely delicious and really hit the spot. I like that I can have a meal here and it doesn't break the bank! The following morning I swang by again for the free breakfast with a voucher offered by the hotel. It was increadibly hearty and just as delicious as the meal the night before. The next time I am in Spokane, I will definitely come back here!!! read more

Normally I do not review chain/franchise restaurants I ordered the T-bone steak dinner and it can't get more American than that!! It's my American comfort food. The meat was on point, I asked for medium and that is how it came, the vegetables(medley) were grilled and crispy! Mashed potatoes and gravy were real, not your out of the bag stuff. They only added 3 meals to the order and I had to pay for the other. Drove 20 minutes to get breakfast 1 way. It's been a while since I dropped a review for this Dennys so it's time to update. I dropped in at about 6am and it was fairly quiet except for a group that had just got off shift at the nearby Amazon facility. The waiter that was on duty handled them and myself with ease even though they were having difficulty deciding what they wanted. He was patient and cracked a couple of jokes as he helped them. My order came out quickly as did theirs, and mine was excellent. Having come here for quite a few years I can confidently say they rarely skimp on ingredients. Today was no exception. My Ultimate Omelette was crammed full and the hash browns were perfectly extra crispy just like I asked. The toast was smeared with just the right amount of butter so that it wasn't in the dry or soggy spectrum. I have found that the staff here are always friendly, efficient, and courteous. Drinks are always filled and overall service has always been good. I've been coming here for over 10 years as it's close to work and it's always been consistent in the ways described. At least three of the waitstaff have been here as long as I've been coming here, which is good to see as well. If you're ever looking for a place to grab a decent bite to eat, even at 3am, this would be a good stop. read more

This place has gone from a 2 star rating to a 5 in a very short amount of time. Alex, the manager can do anything (including cooking) which is what a good manager should be able to do, to earn respect from his staff. I HAVE to mention Daniel (a server.) He was outstanding! This Denny's saved my day. I had a family gathering this Labor Day weekend for the wedding of my son. I had picked a breakfast venue closer in downtown Spokane. called to reconfirm the reservation the week prior. Over the weekend I learned that the venue I had planned to have breakfast for 24 people had recently closed! have eaten at Thai Denny's before so at 7:30 am the day of the breakfast I called to ask to speak with the manager. Mathew was wonderful! He told us that he would take care of my breakfast party. the staff did an excellent job, the food was great, the service was fast and efficient! couldn't ask for anything more! 10/9. Very rude server. After I finished eating, my server never came back. Coffee sat empty for atleast 20 minutes and was totally ignored. After getting up and asking for a refill he finally came over and proceeded to pour coffee all over my cup and on the table. Never said a word. I gave this location a 4 star, in comparison to other dennys. I have eaten at more dennys locations along the west coast than I care to claim.... Probably most of them!!! And this Denny's location is by far the best Denny's location on the west coast! Take my word for it. Their staff are always super friendly, always in a great mood, and even odd requests I've had depending on what I order, they are quick to meet my requests. The interior decoration is very cute, not plain like most other locations, it has more of a diner setting. They do have a full bar that you can order from at your table, or you can just eat in the bar. My favorite thing on the menu? The patty melt. It's a game changer, no joke! Lunch for 2, about $25. Dinner for 4, average about $60, assuming the kids get milkshakes, etc. read more

Stopped by for breakfast since I was staying at the Best Western next door. Typical menu, which is a good thing, it's almost like old fashion comfort food. For a Sunday, (8am), it was not very busy, so I was seated fast, and had my cup if coffee quickly. I ordered the Blue Berry Pancakes Slam. The eggs were cooked perfect, and the rest if the tasted great and was hot. My only disappointment was trying to get coffee refills... I had to ask 2x for a refill, and by the time I got one, I Was finished eating... I ended walking back to the Best Western for coffee there. This could have been a great breakfast... We were at a hotel near Spokane Airport and thought we'd order a couple hamburgers through door dash. 1-1/2 hours later, it was ready. The driver sat and waited almost an hour to pick up our order. When we finally got our order, we didn't get all we ordered and there were no napkins, ketchup or utensils. Worst burgers ever!! We usually love Dennys burgers! So sad! read more

Every once in a while I get surprised by a chain restaurant. It's not my nature to frequent these types of spots since I prefer to seek out small, local, mom and pop places but my in-laws prefer something safe & predictable. Pretty much everything about this visit exceeded our expectations. On this night, the traffic seemed heavier than they were staffed for but the service did not appear to suffer. Seating, ordering, and food all happened in reasonable time and with a cheerful disposition. Food was amply proportioned, fresh, and hot. Couple that with a good value and hence the five stars. I've oft commented that the goal of the chain restaurant is to provide the same experience every time everywhere without regard to the quality of that experience. Most of the time I would skip writing a review about a chain. They can be hit and miss and it's unfair to judge a national chain on one location. However, I thought it was important to mention an employee at this restaurant named Evan. He was friendly from the start. I mean OVER friendly and just a fantastic server. I mentioned to him that I appreciated his friendliness and he said, "thanks! I even got called in 3 hours early for my shift!" Seriously, I was so impressed by this guy. I just wanted to say I've never been a huge fan of Denny's but this location has made me totally change my mind. We ordered red lobster one night, spent over $90. When it was delivered, they didn't send butter, utensils or napkins. When you order crab and lobster, you kind of need melted butter for it.. we were staying in the best western next door to Denny's due to living 3 hours away and needing to be at the hospital in Spokane for my high risk pregnancy. Being desperate for some butter, I called Denny's to see if they would sell me butter.. they insisted on just giving me some butter and would not take any money at all. The next day, we ordered breakfast.. everything was on point. They were happy to change the food for my dietary restrictions. They also made sure to write on the containers of syrup 'sugar free' and also 'regular' just in case I grabbed for the regular syrup without looking to see the other container was sugar free. This location of Denny's has had exceptional customer service and very thoughtful.. I wish I could give them more stars just for how generous and considerate they were. read more

I had an e-gift card to use as my payment. Most places won't even accept it, nor deal with it. (A huge headache-I don't recommend e-gift cards..at all). But this Dennys was so very kind and helpful. They were even able to get my card to work!! Yea!! Cause im starving!! Zips.in Cheney only let me use it one time, after that they treated me like I was a burden!
