This may not be a fair review for anyone but myself, first because a LOT of people love the place, and second because NO "Texas Roadhouse" ("Kentucky Roadhouse" just doesn't sound the same) will change anything that they deem to be a profitable formula. Why should they? Also note that I only eat there once a year, partially as a reminder. I no longer eat beef because of the ridiculously high prices (everywhere). My personal disdain is for other items they sell that may actually draw customers, but here goes: I truly, truly hate the deafening noise levels, from the crowds but more from the overhead music. My wife and I have to lean in across the table to even hear each other. Yep, sometimes we talk. Next, the line dancing might have been cute 20-30 years ago but I didn't come for a floor show, that's actually pretty boring. I read one article about the place last week in which someone referred to the "spontaneous" dancing by staff, "who loved it." That author must have been a newbie. It is planned, timed, and you are warned when the music jumps 30 decibels above the legal limits. My other big and PERSONAL dislike (see "once a year") is sugar, sugar, sugar, in practically everything, but most prominently in their "compound butter" that is only partially butter and is on the rolls, baked potatoes, it seems even in the gravy and other items. Have you seen Americans? We don't need sugar in everything. You "CAN believe it's not butter" because it isn't. Even what they serve as "pulled pork" (in the old, real South, it's called "pork" or "barbeque") is uber-sweet. Not all sauces, at least the good ones, are filled with sugar or high-fructose corn syrup. Some are tangy, spicy, or mustardy and NOT sweet. And then there is the inevitable upsell ("Please, Sir, may I have more?"). I neither want more nor need more, except maybe money. We do like the Caesar Salad, and the catfish is passable (I can only hope it comes from American Catfish Farms/Ponds and not from across the Pacific). And so far, the service has been decent, except for the mandated-by-management upsell. read more

I've been here three times and I always enjoy going to Texas Roadhouse with my daughter whenever I visit and stay for a while. It's a lively place. We've encountered nice, happy waiters and waitresses. I've had great experiences here. The dinner rolls with apple cinnamon butter is just bomb!!. I get full just from eating those prior to receiving my main entree. The ribeye steaks are delicious and cooked perfectly at medium well (just how I like it). I also love their salmon cooked perfectly and fully loaded sweet potatoes. Caesar salad is good and fully loaded baked are also good. Cocktails drinks such as the pink sunset, hurricane margarita and tropical breeze were great. read more

I just looked at the picture of the Texas Roadhouse steak dinner. The steak dinner looked just wonderful. The potato with it looked great too. I hope they have a salad with it, and it would be a ideal meal. I always love a great steak dinner like Texas Roadhouse serves. And I would love to come back for more. This is a great Texas Roadhouse! Better than the majority of others that I've been to. It's clean and the staff is very friendly. Very nice waitress. Food was fine. Meat was cooked properly. We found a piece of a glove inside our bread roll during our meal. We immediately informed our server, and we saw him notify the manager. Unfortunately, when the manager, Hannah, later came around to check on tables, she never addressed the issue, apologized, or checked in with us about what had happened. So my wife and daughter went in on sat night 6/20/26 about 9pm the restaurant wasn't busy at all but they placed there order and waited over 50 min for food to arrive . The manager on duty wasn't much help just offered excuses of there was a 13 top team and that was the problem (not our problem)but the rest of the restaurant was almost empty at this time. The manager did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience as my wife and daughter were still eating at 1045 pm. Well after the closing at 10pm. Oh my goodness, we didn't even capture the food because the experience was just that great! The space is so underrated and definitely deserves more people coming here. Even though it's a chain, Texas Roadhouse is SO, SO, SO good for family and friends - and it's very kid-friendly too! The bread - incredibly soft. The butter - perfect. Customer service - amazing. We barely used our phones because we were just enjoying the atmosphere and our time so much. We celebrated a birthday, and everything was just spot-on. I had the sirloin with honey mustard garden salad and loaded mac & cheese - everything was cooked perfectly! My friend had the pulled pork sandwich with steak fries - she loved it! The pulled pork had just the right amount of sassiness to it. Other friend had Salmon with the mashed potatoes!!!! Even though Texas Roadhouse is a chain, the quality of the food is amazing and affordable. The ambiance is warm and welcoming with great music. Prime rib, fried pickles and sangria margarita hit the spot. Waitress was friendly. We also got in quickly for a late lunch.

We were seated immediately after we arrived. Our server (trainee ) and trainer arrived shortly. Our meals arrived promptly. The side salad was one of the better ones I have had. Another of my sides was chili. I could have made a meal just on it! My wife ordered her meat cooked to a medium well. It came rare. I flagged down the manager who took it away and brought it back shortly after, closer to medium well. My full rack of ribs were two half racks. One sauced and very good. We took the other half to go. A few hours later it was dry snd without sauce on it. The blooming cactus was good until getting to the end. The outside paper skin had not been properly peeled off. Wanted mashed potatoes but was told they were out, so I wanted the green beans, but found out they're made with bacon grease so if you're sensitive/allergic to pork don't get them. I was surprised with mashed potatoes Salad tasted ok but didn't sit well with me and I ended up losing it once home... Didn't like that I had to use the machine on the table to pay, in my opinion it takes away from the job, I wanted to edit my tip but couldn't. The screen was too bright it made my headache spike to a migraine, and my friend had to finish my pay for me. We have never been disappointed at Texas Roadhouse. Tonight was exceptionally great. Our server, April, was outstanding. The food was amazing. It was good except the gravy was so salty it was near inedible. Luckily, my friend skipped the gravy. Food normally deserves 4 to 5 stars. I've also had great luck with take out. It was prom night and everyone in town seemed to be celebrating a birthday too! It's the first time we've ever been but it will surely be on the list of Must Do's for any vacation if we can Talk about a lively venue - that saddle comes out for special celebrations and the yeehaws begin lol there were so many that night. The table next to us even had a lovely lady celebrating her 86th birthday - she laughed and politely declined getting up on the saddle :D The bread. Can I just say? It's so good. I ordered my burger well done and it came rare so I ask them to just cook it a bit more and it took 30 mins to get my burger back

Went in for a Rib-eye Steak, could not accommodate me, I wanted a 12 oz (and would have been ok with an 8 oz). They only had 14 oz and up! And the price was quite a bit more and would only be wasted. So I opted for the smallest prime rib. They did NOT tell me they cook them with "Liquid Hickory" or something like that. I do not like hickory of any kind!!! I only ate about 3 bites. Was so disappointed! They did give me a $9.99 discount. I would have rather had a Rib-Eye. There were several of them in the case up front! It bc was my hubby's birthday and they gave him a brownie with whip creme' but it was so hard he only took a couple bites! I will keep going to the one in Idaho. My friend and I decided to give the Spokane Texas Roadhouse a try tonight. We've been to a couple other locations (Pocatello and Boise, Idaho). I can say the warm buttery rolls were fantastic! I ordered the Prime Rib cooked medium rare, and it looked absolutely fabulous! The meat was delicious. The seasoning they used, I wasn't a fan. With the prime rib I also got a side-kick of shrimp, they were good. My friend got the sirloin steak, she said it was one of the toughest sirloins she had ever had, but she did like the flavor. With her sirloin she also got a side-kick of shrimp, steamed broccoli, and sweetened applesauce. Someday in the future we may try this location again. read more

Ambiance here is very fun and upbeat. They play country music and every now and then they play a specific song and the workers line up to dance. Sorry I'm not a country person so I don't know the song or what the dance is but it was enjoyable to watch. It's pretty loud in there so talk loud to your companions. We were seated right away for lunch and it was pretty packed in there. Service was great! Our waitress got us water every time we were low, she always checked in on us and it was our first time there so she gave us some feedback on what was good there. We had dinner here last night and it was crazy busy so I'm not going to focus on food or service as it wasn't an accurate depiction in my opinion. That being said, my 9 month old grabbed the cinnamon butter off of the table and it got on her hand. Minutes later her hand was HUGE and bright bright red like she was having an allergic reaction. My husband went to find a rag with water to wipe it off and the waitress heard and notified the manager. Everyone was at our table immediately checking on our daughter. They were so caring and kind.
