My server tonight was Gladis C. Upon arriving to our table and sitting down. She brought us silverware and the silverware had a long curly hair on it. She quickly removed the hair and picked up the silverware when we told her about it. When we received our food, our food was super cold. Everything was cold from the kids meals to the adults meals. After getting our food she did not come back to our table at all. We did not have any napkins, she didn't give up any refills. She just kept walking by and looking at us. We had to get another waitress to give us napkins. She only brought us two napkins. I paid over 30 dollars for some terrible service. Ordered Dennys by door dash the server at Dennys on Akers was Olo A. I specifically ordered syrup and butter for the pancakes and jelly for my husbands toast and did I get them, NO! But yet they checked all of the items I ordered so both Dennys and door dash screwed up. How is someone to eat pancakes without syrup and toast without jelly. We ate at Dennys last night for the first time. My wife ordered salmon off of the 55+ menu. It said to order two sides, which is exactly what she did. When we got our bill, they charged us full price for one of the sides and an up charge on the other one. Make sure when you select your sides, notice that some of them are considered premium. Our waitress Yessenia A. was very helpful in recommending a breakfast item for me. Very good choice. Denny's did pretty good this time around! Got this order delivered the other day. Was feeling some breakfast for lunch and happened to see Denny's was one of the only spots open on Christmas Day "reminds me of The Santa Clause" only day instead of eve lol. I was torn between this and a burger but the pancakes were the overall winner in this deciding factor! They looked so fluffy! The problem with receiving Denny's delivery is that the portions are small. The Pancakes were fine, the hash browns were fine. Two eggs and two bacon really do look small for the price lol. Overall this was a very good breakfast though. It was filling, had the right amount of flavor. I had to self season "which in this case I prefer", I drench my eggs in Tabasco lol. I have never been at a denny's before that I had great 10/10 service, 10/10 food, and such lovely staff until today!! I DEFINITELY recommend coming to this location!!! I am visiting in town and my family wanted to grab a bite to eat for dinner. We came to this dennys and were welcomed in by all night staff which was awesome. Tasha was an AMAZING server and I appreciate everything she did for us tonight. She was on it and had such a professional and happy spirit that made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Kailey and Laura were also super helpful and also had a positive attitude towards customers and were happy to serve and help us. Horrible customer service. This has been our dinner place for our church group of 10 to 14 people, 12 today. One specific waitress refuses to sit us together even when the place is empty. This was the 4th time she refused to help us (with attitude). Manager didn't get involved until we were on our way out. At which point, she told us that she could accommodate us on a different area. I went to Denny's today to grab some breakfast/lunch with my kids and wow. I was left speechless with the amazing service. Manuel was a fast server with such humbleness and made sure my kids and I had everything and loved everything. He would check on us often and made us feel very welcome. I ordered the philly CHEESE steak omelet...there was almost NO cheese, the meat was way overdone and hard, the hashbrowns were ordered with added cheese and came with only a teaspoon of cheese(for an additional $1.29) on top of HARD(not crispy) dark and dangerously sharp hashbrowns. My wife ordered the Everyday value slam with 4 bacon and got 2 bacon and 2 sausage. It also was incredibly noisy. Just one more insult added. We won't be back anytime soon. read more

Had breakfast here on an extremely busy Sunday morning. Got to take a quick seat at the counter and was served by Yesenia A. who cared for us and her other guests so well. She was happy and attentive and hussled for all of us. She stopped to chat a moment when my husband thought she tripped on a mat and shared She was worried one of her other coworkers might trip. She had new drinks for us by the time we finished the first glass without being asked. Remembered the condiments we asked for and was just generally a pleasure to be served by. It was obvious she takes pride in her job. Another gentleman came in who seemed to be a regular that she had the order ready in for right away and who she treated so kindly. I thought we could count on Dennys for breakfast. But the food was barely ok. Gravy was flavorless The sausages weren't grilled. They were steamed and not appetizing. Hash browns were oily and half raw Fries were a little cold and hard. Coffee not good. They don't serve bold coffee here anymore. The best thing in my breakfast was the biscuit. Although I asked for the gravy on the side they brought it out split with gray poured over it. They fixed it quickly. Service was confused, had 4 different waitresses. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at our service and meal at this Denny's last night. We never go to Denny's because we've never enjoyed a meal or service at our local Denny's. However we were in Visalia overnight and were staying at a nearby hotel. Caden S was our server. He was helpful, happy and just a great server. Our meal was fresh and tasty. I ordered the club sandwich because I figured it wasn't too hard to mess up a sandwich, it was really good. The seasoned French fries were fresh and so good. My husband had a cheeseburger, which he said was really good. He also got the onion rings which again, were fresh, hot & yummy. We both got milkshakes- both were great!
