If I could put zero stars I would. I work in the restaurant business and have never had worse service. To start, right as we walk in the cashier lady was already being rude and yelling at other coworkers; not the kind of atmosphere I would enjoy eating in. After we order and receive our food, we find that our food was not completely correct. This was a kitchen mistake not a waitress mistake. Remarkably, our waitress was the appealing person we encountered during our visit. Finally, after we get our checks and go to ring them up, we realize that the lady who rang up our tickets switched up items on different bills and never deleted the soda that was never brought to me. Upon telling the rude cashier what the problem was she continued to ring the ticket up and finish the transaction without giving any notice to what our complaint was. I also had a 20% off coupon that was applied. After I told her for the third time that there was a problem, she began to tell me that the 20% coupon took the soda off my bill. The problem with that was I was still being ripped off almost 3$. I then left the restaurant and looked over my bill one more time and realized I was being ripped off. I went back in to the restaurant and forwarded my complaint to the lady once more and in response she walked away and complained about me instead of helping me resolve the issue. Another rude lady came over and told me there was nothing they can do because it was already rung up. While in the midst of me talking to the lady, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Finally, our waitress came over and apologized for the mistake and paid me $2.50 out of her own tips for a mistake that wasn't even her problem. I will no longer spend my money at this franchise. read more

Thank you for making it a good experience for my kids, even though you were very busy and had a lot of hungry people. It wasn't perfect, mistakes were made, but it was a really good effort given the circumstances and I will definitely eat here again if I visit the Dells. read more

Saturday morning at Denny's. The staff seems overwhelmed and no one is really showing any sense of urgency. Our server took the drink order, brought the drinks, asked if we needed cream for our coffee and then took the food order and of course forgot about the cream. The food was great, except our inexperienced server wasn't familiar with the menu (come on, it's Denny's!) and had to fix two orders. Be patient if you go. read more

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT clearly. Bathroom was the worst I've EVER seen. Vomit everywhere, paper everywhere, overflowing toilet, urinal out of order, urine all over floor. Waited 15 minutes to be seated (with NOBODY in the restaurant or in line). Waitress told me they only had two waitress to run the place and that was why. Food came out with lots of mistakes, never brought our drinks until requested 2nd time when food finally came out. Eggs under cooked, sausage missing, warm white milk for the kids. Waitress reprimanding other workers loudly so all patrons could hear. Wow. The next day we ate at IHOP across the street. Fantastic experience and they were crazy busy! Love the food. Fast service. Everytime we go to the dells we go to dennys. Never any complaints.

Half hour to get breakfast. Many open tables in restaurant! Never this Denny's again.

Our waiter was friendly but the entire place was filthy. Our silverware was dirty when we sat down and then when she brought our cups, those were dirty too. I was afraid to even eat the food. read more

First all we got there around 1am the manager told me it was going to be around 20 min to get seated ; which there was plenty of tables open. There was 3 people that got their 15 after us and the ordered to go and they got their order faster than us. After 25 min passed I asked the waiter to take my order to go and she said she wasn't talking no orders or sitting anybody . There was some guy just cleaning doing nothing . She could've told him to take my order she was pretty rude . There was about 5 parties waiting to get seated . Her attitude was really bad ; Denny's should hire more people during night time ; since it's a Holiday weekend and there's really nothing open at that time . I know how fast food service is and this is not the way to treat the costumers. read more

This is the worse Denny's I've ever been to. It wasn't packed when me and my party arrived so that couldn't have been an excuse for poor service. There was no host to take guests names down, well at least it seemed like there wasn't because we were just standing there for 10 minutes before I had to yell out to get someone's attention. After telling her how many we were seated right away because as I mentioned already there wasn't a lot of guests. Our waiter was great. When we left we went to the use the restrooms and they were filthy. Toilet paper everywhere and garbage all over the floor. I'm not sure why sending someone in there often enough to check on cleanliness is an issue considering it wasn't that busy. I love Denny's but this restaurant was unorganized and dirty. Then there was a bus girl who had such an unpleasant look on her face and would give the guests dirty looks. Terrible location. read more

Great customer service but food was ok. I haven't tried the rest of the menu but I have tried some of their dishes and it wasn't a taste to repeat. They also bring your food cold. I do not send food back due to not knowing if the cook or waiter/waitress will contaminate my meal. I don't return if I am not satisfied with the meal or service... read more

If you want quick in and out, go here. Kind of pricey for a Denny's though. Food was OK at best. I think the waitress was the cashier, cook, dish washer, and manager as well. The place was empty at dinner time and probably won't be in business a year from now. read more

Average run of the mill Denny's. Food was the same quality you would find at any other one. Decent food at a low cost. They were very busy so food took a little longer than desired but that was expected. Our waitress was nice. read more

Got a order to go after a bad experience at another restaurant the staff was very friendly and the food was great, good and hot!

Despite the less than satisfactory experience with our hostess and my food being sub par, I wanted to put in a good word for our server, Heather A. This place was a frenzy and no one seemed to handle stress well. But Heather kept her cool and was very friendly and polite. She was clearly working hard and did an exceptional job at handling WAY TOO MANY TABLES. I may be wrong but she seemed to have A LOT on her plate, working not only the area we were sitting but also on the other side of the diner. Out of everyone working, she seemed one of the most calm and collected and I feel she deserves to be recognised for this. She was unfortunately too busy helping MANY other guests for me to say so in person, so I felt this may be a good option. Way to go Heather A!!! read more

If you dont mind waiting over an hour for your food to come then this is the place for you. The cook didn't show up for the breakfast shift. Also one waitress didn't show up. The person who came to cook was inexperienced and was also busing tables and pouring coffee. What a nightmare. No manager present and the poor waitress had to deal with all this. slamburger? more like tolietburger. i threw up at the smell of this burger, before i even took my first bite. the burger came out flooded in the so called "queso" sauce. this is america not mexico. the fries looked like they were microwaved and came from rotten potatoes. yea i guess the shake was ok, but it came out already melted. after the meal i went to the bathroom & pooped. glad that i left that place in better condition than when i came in. read more
