Back in the October when I was searching where to do dental implants, I crossed page for getting the Grant for procedure. I was so happy when I got approved and they send me to DENT-ALL® By Dr. Z in Irvine CA. After he checked my x-rays, he told me that he cannot do implants for me because I am not candidate for implants. As he said, not everyone is candidate for dental implants. I came home so crashed and depressed. I am 53 years old I will have to have teeth in the cup of water next to my bed on nightstand?! He sends me to Lee Jeffrey MD DMD Oral Surgeon in Tustin. I got appraisal for All on 4 totals of $30 000. Then I search other options and I got many hits for Tijuana. I personally have great experience with dentist in Mexico. I got bridge of 9 tooth long in Tijuana, and I had no problem for 12 years. I paid for it $1200 back in 2003. Twelve years after I had to redo bridge and I did in Los Angeles for $4300 (+insurance paid additional 2-3 thousand). This bridge got bad after only 3-4 years. Tijuana's dentist was so much better choice. I paid much more in LA and I got much better quality in Tijuana. Dentist who did first bridge did not work Sundays, and in the search, I found Dental Bright in Tijuana open on Sundays. (for me particularly important because is my only day off). Every single detail from my next a few months experience in Dental Bright was great. Making appointment - easy and fast. Reminders and sending me a map how to find it - amazing easy and detailed (if I park on American side, how to walk to office, if I go inside Mexico, where to park and how to walk to office). Stuff working on the reception and payments - every single person working on front desk was professional and kind. I did not feel any second that someone there does not like because I do not speak Spanish. In every moment I feel very welcome. Office - great location, easy to find. Awaiting room - great size with plenty of sofas to relax while awaiting. Nice size of TV with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime, and excellent Wi-Fi connection. Complementary snacks, cold or room temperature water and excellent protein shakes (after implant surgery extremely helpful). In USA they gave me appraisal $30 000, and Dental Bright I was charged $10 500 (partial of that was paid by my insurance). From first visit on November 1st, 2020 until last one on Feb 21st, 2021 I worked with a few dentist and dentist assistants. I saw Dr. Luis Obeso on first and last visit. He performed surgery of 3 hours, and he did amazing job. Very professional and kind. The most of my visit's dentist assistant was Alex (I hope I spelled her name correct). This office is so lucky to have this lady. I give 10 stars for Alex. 3 months ago, I came home with excellent work of Dr. Luis Obeso and his crew. Looks great, feels great, works great... I will continue to use Dental Bright for all my future dental work. I am incredibly happy and I highly recommending this place for dental implants. read more

I cannot rave enough about the outstanding service received. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have visited them five different times to have a total of seven implants, along with a root canal. Dr Emanuel Leon is amazing. He was extremely attentive and understanding of my past negative experiences with the dentist and ensured I was relaxed and monitored any signs of anxiety along the way. They use state of the art of equipment, and even arranged for full anesthesia for my extractions. I am currently in the stage of having my temporary implants for the next two months. One of them fell off and Dr Emanuel Leon fixed it and even repaired an additional cavity at no cost. This place is very bad! I would not dare to recommend this place and these people to anyone for any reason. After looking up dentist in the Tijuana area, I went there 6 months ago because the price was more affordable compared to dentists here in California. When I first walked in I saw an older white male inquiring about a service to one of the receptionists. He seemed puzzled after she told him the service could be "done today". He was hesitant and ended up walking out. I found that a bit discouraging. I was called and went up for a consultation with dentist emmanuel and he said a bridge could be done. I told him that a dentist in oxnard ca said a bridge could not be done. He said that was not true and I accepted the procedure instead of an extraction. He then proceeded to take me over to dentist maurillo who was going to do the root canal. I noticed a negative tone in his voice when he introduced me to dentist maurillo but did not think much of it at the time. The procedure was extremely painful even though there was numbing of the area. Dentist maurillo had a VERY heavy hand and I felt something twitching in my cheek area several times throughout the procedure. After it was over I went to the mirror and saw that my mouth was very swollen and I had tons of cuts in my cheek area where I felt the twitching. Days went by and I could not feel any sensation in the cheek are where the cuts had been done. Weeks went by and I could still not feel any sensation. On my second appointment to get the permanent bridge installed, I pointed out my concern to dentist jimenez and she had me take xrays so she could see the damages. The xrays showed a very numerous amounts of cuts in my cheek area and it looked very bad to me. I told her that, that amount of cuts was not good and for them to be more careful because, I should not have damage of that kind and that my sensation should have come back by now. She had the nerve to say "OH THERE IS ALWAYS DAMAGE WHEN DOING THAT TYPE OF PROCEEDURE". I then said "is it normal to have that much damage"? She said it would take "six" months to heal. And she said this in a very apologetic and startled tone. Well its about a week away from being six months and THERE IS STILL NO SENSATION IN MY CHECK AREA WHERE maurillo hacked me up very bad! It doesn't take an ivy league scholar to realize that there was nerve damage done to me. And this was done by a very unprofessional and careless dentist who should not be practicing dental procedures. I mean, when I went there I could see all the university degrees they have posted on the wall and everything but that does not equate to the level of skill they have and the level of skill they show. Plus, when it comes down to it, they will try to cover up each others mistakes instead of being honest and being accountable. These people engage in behavior that is very disturbing. My initial experience with Dental Brush was overly positive. The entire staff was friendly and easy to deal with. After my first consultation I was told the total cost of my extensive dental work would be $21,340 but if I paid cash the total cost would be $17,000 of which I started the work and paid an initial $7,000 cash to start the work. Today when I returned for the second round of three days of planned dentistry I was now told the cost of my work would still be 17,000, but that they would no longer be applying the veneers they had told me where part of the original scope of work. If I wanted the veneers I would have to pay an additional $4,140. After Ana, a customer service worker, with exceptional people skills, called the owner multiple times trying to find a solution that was fair with the owner; I decided to stop any further work with Dental Brush after I was told my cash discount would not be applied to work I had previously paid for. In closing the staff of Ana, Faviola and Fernando were all great people. My problem is with Itzhak the person who told me the cost would be $17,000 and the owner. I was very excited to having the work done and now feel that the rug was pulled out from under my plans by an unscrupulous owner. Its sad to see such a positive staff at Dental Brush having to work with an owner who lacks integrity when it comes to money and customer service. Update! My current dentist was shocked by how bad my dental work was. All of the horrible work was performed by Dental Brush. I went to Dental Brush for a root canal and to have my silver fillings replaced with white fillings. My tooth that had a root canal was still in pain so I went to an endodontist. He said that Dental Brush completely missed a root!! And, of the roots that they did fill, they did not even fill them all the way! No wonder I was still in pain. As did my silver fillings, they left some of the silver filling, and placed white filling on top. My dentist said they should have removed all of the silver filling, and then place the new filling. I gave 1 star for the front staff being friendly. The rest of my experience has been a complete nightmare!! They will play nice and understanding but then attempt to manipulate you into getting something that looks absolutely ridiculous!!!! One of their own dentists said the crowns looked awful but I was still encouraged to get them. I'm so glad I didn't. When I asked about not doing crown and implants instead I was given no information. This just shows they may have not much knowledge on them. Basically I paid $675 for a cleaning because they could not even attempt to do anything correctly. I was misled and have the texts to prove it. It started with a broken tooth, Dental Brush removed tooth and advised procedures that included upper and lower partial dentures at a cost of $1700. I asked if this price was final. They said yes. Three trips later, I was told that the dentures they sold me were only temporary. Additional $800 needed for REAL quality dentures. I reluctantly agreed to purchase. This REAL dentures were painful and hurt. They are difficult to remove and I regret being so trusting. Second issue was I had pain on my back molar pain, the dentist examines it and said it was part of the healing and should go away. The pain didn't go away. I went to a dentist in the US and he said the molar had a giant cavity and needed extraction. I told the dentist what the U.S. dentist found, his response was, "Well, your teeth are bad, you should have had them removed anyway." I was happy and pleased the entire time, and I'm still not feeling any pain. Love it! Dr Aaron Avila did the actual root canal part, he was the specialist for root canals. He was just as amazing as the others! Patient and delicate with his care, and explained everything as he did it. Highly recommend him too. Then I went back to Dr Luis Obeso who reassured me everything was going great and finished up my crown. I did have about a 20 minute while the crown was being made, but they had me sit in living room with 5 Chase lounges, big screen TV with Netflix, drinks and snacks provide to make you feel comfortable. After 4 days the upper right implant crown has come off again due to the poor workmanship and incompetence of Dr. Emmanuel Leon (the owner). Normally before any procedure is performed at the Dental Brush dental office they collect payment from you in advance before any work is done. So Dr. Emmanuel Leon was well-aware that the crown repair I was having done on 11-20-23 was covered under a 18 month warranty. But chose to blackmail me after the procedure was done "out of spite" and charge me a 40 U.S. dollar consultation fee (?) and 10 dollar implant crown screw replacement charge totalling $50. When I refused he told me to leave the dental office. His front office clerk had already validated my parking pass before he could stop it. When I asked to use his bathroom before getting into that long border crossing queue, back to California he refused. When I asked him for a medical business pass to cross the border more expeditiously, he refused. I advised him that I would write a scathing review about my experience with his treatment he responded "I will just pay to have the negative review removed, didn't you know you can do that? And he laughed. Dr. Leon would not do this to any of his Mexican patients. He is a RACIST!! Run as fast as you can the prices are cheap but so is the work. I should have walked away when they broke avtool off in my jaw during surgery and since that time multiple different denture and lab items have broken so extensively that it required flying down and making new sets that also didnt hold up. I cannot even count the thousands of dollars wasted on flying down there for 3 to 11 days at a time so they could fix thier their cheap work that broke. In the end they try to blame the patient and make statements like your the one who chose to.come to Mexico. They show great care and compassion before the work is done but when things start going wrong you are lied to, mislead, and if thats not enough they try and intimidating you and having multiple clinic staff in a room and video tape you well they make false statements and advise that you must do things that your not comfortable with. Update: 10/25 I did do and continue to do my part and have not gone Dr to Dr as the Dr alleges in his response..I am thankful for their amazing driver but outside that this whole experience has been an extremely expensive nightmare. Last week yet another tooth broke and it's truly sad that you look to blame the patient and not truly find the root cause. In my last conversation with Dr Leon he made the statement that I made the choice to go to his clinic. He is correct I did So thinking his clinic took pride in their work and were not people that would lie to their patient about completing thing they didn't do and advising they fixed issues they truly didn't fix. Instead of helping thier clients when their work and labs work fails (the lab is associated with the clinic) they make false claims and would rather intimidate their client rather the addressing the issues with the lab work. Don't trust this clinic as I did. I am really considering seriously denouncing this place. Not for the lack of professionalism (I went with 2 problems that they never identified even after several x-rays and pictures) and they went on saying that I had 9 cavities (impossible because I went to a great US dentist 3 days before) and that I had to fix something completely different than what I came for. Their estimate was exorbitantly high, couple of thousands of dollars. But...that wasn't the worst. The worst was when I payed $45 for that examination, the receptionist took my id and held on to my credit card for too long and was writing on a piece of paper for minutes. I thought that was weird. Guess what, 2 days later my credit card was hacked into - I got 2 unauthorized transitions and I haven't used it with anything for days except the clinic. Great Dental Practice. The staff was very accommodating and very helpful providing information on how to get to their office. Once getting to the office they explained everything well and when was checked out, Dr. Leon explained very well what needs to be addressed and need to be done. I am a union glazier here, yes with full benefits. I used all my insurance here in the USA on a root canal. I am currently laid off so I honestly wasn't trying to pay 900$ here so my mom recommended Tijuana. Nowadays, yes people are scared to go there but me a white blonde hair blue eyes male drove there alone. They were very helpful in directing me there and communicative. Once I made it they welcomed me in so gracefully and made me feel at home honestly. Very clean and professional. They had the crown made in about 45min. That's what I liked the technology was same daw crown molding. After everything was done I left only spending 400$ out the door and got a free cleaning. When I was leaving Claudia got me a medical pass to get back! She even got in my car and rode with me to get back to the border. Doesn't get better than that. Wish I could give negative stars.... This clinic puts on a good front but in the end you see a very different side of them. The prices are cheap but so is the work. i have watch them put my mom through hell for the last two and a half years. She should of walked away when they broke a tool off in her jaw during surgery. I cant even remember the number of times the dentures and lab items have broken so extensively that it required flying down and making new sets that unfortunately also didnt hold up. Although there is a warranty it does not cover your travel and other expenses for each time you must go back. I cant even count the number of times my mom had to go back as the product they guaranteed failed and she spent thousands making these trips happen. The strese and anxiety this caused my mom was far too great. There was literally thousands of dollars wasted on flying down there for 3 to 11 days at a time so they could fix their cheap work that broke. In the end they tried to blaim her and make false statements and because of how they treated her she was completely alone and did not feel safe in the clinic or Mexico using speculation instead of fact to reach conclusions that didn't make any sense. My mom was lied to, mislead and if thats not enough they tried intimidating her while having multiple clinic staff in a room and video taping her while they make false statements. I recently had 2 procedures at Dental Brush--Teeth Cleaning, which I felt was quite inadequate and a crown put in by Dr. Luiz & assistant Osmar, which went very well and I am happy with. I payed them $ 8500.00 + and when done less than 3 weeks later my implant tooth fell out, then another couple of weeks and my bridge completely cracked in half, then a month or so after that my front tooth cap fell off, and a few months after that another cap fell off. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! Then when it was time to leave I was dead broke and the doctor would not give me a medical release for $10.00 because I didn't have the money. It then too me over 10 hours to be able to get out of Mexico! I actually think that yes I am going to report them to consumer protection agency so this doesn't happen to anyone else! read more

Seemed like a decent place. Dr Leon who did the implant had some crastsmanship with implant. But one of the root canals I had done were a disaster. The drill went outside the tooth and down the side into the gum. I went back later and Antonio the office salesman said I should have come back sooner. But dentist told me once the tooth is drilled outside of the tooth into the gum the tooth cannot be repaired and the tooth has to be extracted. They ruined the tooth and tried to blame it on me. read more

Do not patronize this practice. They will lie to you if you request nitrous oxide for anesthesia. Evidently they don't offer it, so they told me that nitrous oxide is illegal in Mexico. Makes me wonder what else they lied about. read more

After getting several quotes in America for a root canal that where very expensive, I started to consider getting a root canal done in Mexico. It was my first time so I was a little bit cautious. I sent emails to 10-15 dental clinics and Dental brush was the first to call me back. I spoke to a gentleman named Antonio Lucio, and after the first phone call I felt much better about my decision. From start to end Antonio walked me through what the procedure will be like. How to enter Mexico, how to find the clinic and was even nice enough to sit in our car and guide us to the edge of the border so we don't get lost on the way back. All in all the experience was an overall amazing one. I have to especially thank Antonio for being so helpful and knowledgeable. I would also like to thank Nataly Arevalos for being so friendly , sweet and courteous. I highly recommend this clinic. P.S the root canal was don't very professionally . Almost immediately all of my pain disappeared. read more

Had previously left a 1 star (wish I could give a 0 star!) review that is no longer on here. This place is so shady! Dr. Leon replaced one of my crowns, he did not place it on correctly. A few months later I couldn't stand the uncomfortness, I went back in and before being "seen" the front desk made me sign a bunch of paper work Just so a different dentist could come downstairs to tell me Dr. Leon was busy and they would not be able to fix the error. This office not only charged me cost share, they billed my dental ppo insurance a ridiculous amount & they got paid!! These people double dip and don't even guarantee their work. Horrible place, I don't recommend this place! For trying to save a dollar you'll end up paying much more! read more

I went to this place because I really needed a mouth guard to prevent grinding. I did not have that much money. I had trouble finding the place and so when I was there I was late but they chose to make my mouthguard anyway. It took them 20 minutes to make it, when it's usually a couple of hours. The guard was flimsy and tight on my teeth. It didn't sit right on my bottom teeth. After just 2 nights of wearing this thing, my teeth hurt and felt as if they had moved around. I called and they said I could come in for a replacement free of charge. I have since been to an oral surgeon who said to have one made for the bottom teeth. However I still cannot afford this item, I called Brush Dental back and spoke with Antonio who said my guard is fine and I cannot get a replacement one. He had never seen my guard! How would he know better than I do if my guard is working or not? I asked for a refund and he said no. Oh but he was all too quick to offer to make me one like my oral surgeon recommended They just want your money It's cheaper than us here but you actually do get what you pay for. In some cases such as this one, you get poor service, disrespect, and robbed! I still have no mouth guard! My teeth hurt! I'm out $105 for this piece of plastic that hurts my teeth! Don't go here! I would highly recommend anyone to use Dental Brush for any dental work. They picked us (my wife and I) up at the hotel. Once at the practice they took xrays and pictures of our teeth then explained to us in detail what was needed to be done. I have told many friends of the quality of workmanship you guys provide. DENTAL BRUSH CLINIC, TIJUANA B.C. Dr. Luis Obeso calling in life is not dentistry. He should be jack hammering the streets instead of people's teeth. He installed my permanent partials(6 bottom front) in crooked. After one week, I was back due to intense pain, from the tooth that was getting all the pressure of the partial leaning onto it. Another Dentist shaved it down a little to reduce the strain. I was expecting him to say ,'oh look it's crooked, lets redo this for you'. Instead he says he does not notice it crooked. So you know that are not going to admit anything bad by a fellow Dentist in their clinic. Well that crookedness has left a gap of my tooth exposed on the other side. Yesterday, sharp pains whenever I ate or drank anything. And this morning, my mouth, gums, are swollen. Probably infected. Oh and after the work was done, then they tell me, there is no guarantee. I sign a paper. I was just lucky I guess that they shaved my tooth, because it was only a week after procedure, it is now a month after procedure, what should I do? read more

All I can say is just come! They will all welcome you with open arms. You will not find anything better so just stop looking. The prices are amazing, professionalism is out of this world, and every detail is taken care of the entire time you are here. Fly into San Diego or Tijuana and they pick you up at the airport. The assistants will even make you a reservation at a local hotel and doctors staff will pick you up and bring you back from your hotel and from the airport. You are literally treated like you are part of the family. Dr. Leon even squeezed me in for an appointment prior to him going on his vacation that he well deserved. He stayed after hours and even brought me back himself to my hotel. Do you know a dentist that would do that??? I don't! He takes such great pride in his work and in every detail of what he does and because of that everything turns out amazing. I can't even explain how incredible the experience is. The office takes PPO dental insurance. They do all the same crowns and dental work as you find in the US. My entire family is treated by this clinic and I would never ever go anywhere else. If you don't want to fly then you can drive and either drive through the border or park and the clinic is literally only 5 minutes walking. If safety is a concern don't let it be because I feel perfectly safe when I'm there. I just which I could begin to explain what you are missing if you do not want to cross the border for dental care. They always get as much done as possible each visit so you aren't going back and forth like all the dentists I have been to back home and the quality is exceptional! Just do yourself a favor and call and ask for Antonio and he will help you right away. The clinic is open Monday through Saturday. They are extremely dedicated. I was not paid nor asked to write this review and I don't post a lot of reviews, but I think everyone deserves a beautiful smile and for most its unobtainable in the US because the prices are just far to expensive for most. read more

OUTSTANDING!!!! I have been terrified of the dentist since I was a small child. I was picked up at the San Diego Airport, and taken to Tijuana for my first appointment. My hotel was arranged for me by Antonio (amazing customer service) I had my teeth worked on the first day. Hotel was great and the food there was good. I went back next day to get my mold for my crowns finished. It was memorial day weekend, so I went up to Santa Barbara, and enjoyed my weekend. Came back on Tuesday and had my new crowns put in The Crowns are awesome, people now compliment me about my teeth. They look so natural. Dr. Leon has been so patient with me, he talked me through the process and calmed me down. He has my loyalty and I will be going back to get the rest of my teeth done. I will keep flying from Washington DC to San Diego. The airfare was $427.00 it is worth every penny... you might find cheaper but they are not the full porcelain crowns.. Dr. Leon, is a perfectionist that pays attention to detail... My teeth fit so well and no issues with them at all. I am in LOVE with them. Mini Vacation....and fantastic dental work!
