iced chai latte, iced vanilla latte
    Emily L.

this review is for their coffee and pastries only. we ordered an iced chai latte, iced vanilla latte, and picked up some pastries. some of the best airport lattes i've had in a minute! the coffee and chai had strong flavors. i'm not usually a fan of chai but they made theirs so good! i'd recommend the iced chai latte!

Great chicken Caesar wrap! Quick and friendly service. Clean and open tables. What more could you ask for at the airport?

A perfect spot to grab a morning cup of coffee or a later morning alcoholic beverage. Comfortable seating as well as bar seating. An assortment of pastries, sandwiches and fresh fruit, and bottled water.

Great service. Fun to sit here and watch people walk up for double shots and make their way into the unknown. Prices are airport prices so we can't fault them for that. Full liquor selection, few draft beers. I almost always make a stop here when I'm at AUS.

Airport Aperol Spritz while waiting for the flight to New Orleans. Nice bartender but you already know I paid too much.

The service is slow but when there's one person working, who's fault is that? The bartender was friendly and I watched him make the eastside old fashion with care and flare. I didn't like the wine I ordered but so be it. Most of the wines on the menu are from Colombia which I found strange. The drinks are expensive (typical airport style) but at least with the wine you get a 9 ounce pour. Good place to hole up for an hour.

    Pepperoni flatbread.

Flatbread is meh. Not really a flatbread but more of an overtoasted tortilla with cheese, tomato sauce, and pepperoni on top. The one waitress was doing everything, waiting on all the tables, so there was really no time for her to refill waters. Way overpriced for mediocre food and little service but kind of expected at a busy airport.

The only place in the entire airport that has comfortable chairs! When your plane delays for hours, and you don't want to sit on a metal chair, this place has big comfy leather chairs. Staff are all sweet and friendly, drinks are perfect!

This is beautiful place to sit and drink and have something to eat while waiting for your flight. Service is good, Wendy was very quick but pro in making good cocktails. I had Mozzarella flatbread, Long Island and Hazy IPA. I highly recommend this place if you are legal age.

This place gets busy, so if you can find a chair, grab it. It took a couple of mins to order, but when I did, The amber beer was good. I later got hungry, so I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich. Pretty expensive for what it is, especially with chips. I had to wash the food down, so I got the Bloody Mary. It was good. Overall, the bartenders weren't always busy. At times I waited, but they just didn't help me. One time, one of the bartenders was eating food, came from the back room still chewing, stood in front of me for a min or so, then walked away. He came back shortly after and then asked me what I needed. Really odd. I guess I will be back, I fly out of here quite often. But won't be my first pick.

A very nice new location in the Austin airport... Located across from gate 8 they have opened up this nice little spot that has a full bar, light food, and a very inviting space! Several high back swivel chairs, small tables, and a great bar with power and hooks at every seat! The service was outstanding. RJ was behind the bar and made a great breakfast suggestion. He never left me wanting for anything. It is an airport location so prices are a bit steep... but no worse then most. The croissant with bacon, eggs, feta and spinach was pretty good! Messy but good. The coffee is good too... a bold brew that tastes like coffee! They also have a to go counter if your on the run. The location has only been open for 3 weeks so it is very nice, neat, clean and sparkly!

Tried the ice cream and the tables in the middle of the airport were so clean. The bathrooms were clean too. I like that (at least at the gates I was at) that this airport was not too big, also was not too small. However lots of eateries' booths to choose from. I will choose to transit here again.

Overall, still a great, but expensive, City. But, I'm lowering my score for the airport because, quite candidly, this airport is pretty pathetic for a City that prides itself as being a tech hub, forward thinking, and all things geared toward being a "wow" City. Tech hub? I'm at gate 30 awaiting departure and there are exactly 6 plugs to do computer work at gate between gates 29, 30, 31, and 32. See photos. There are literally 300 to 400 seats for these four gates. Your other option is to sit on the floor with your back to one of the support columns to charge your laptop while you have it on your floor to work. Not exactly efficient. Ridiculous really. I know they're in the midst of an airport expansion, and renovation, but it should never have gotten to such a crappy outdated, behind the times situation in my opinion. Whoever is running this airport is at least 10 or 15 years behind the times in various respects. I will say that if you have TSA pre-check and CLEAR you can usually move through security very quickly. But, If you don't have TSA pre-check or don't get TSA pre-check on a given flight, the lines are extremely long, especially early in the morning. Come really early!

Our sever, forgive me I forgot her name it started with a G and she had an accent, was the epitome of what all servers should strive to be. She was attentive, helpful, friendly, professional, all of the above JUST AMAZING! We dined before a concert and let her know we were in a slight rush and she made sure everything came out coursed but not rushed. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! The oysters and mignonette, steak sliders, truffle mac but omg that halibut stole the show! Mega hats off to the BOH staff, they killed it in every way. Also, if we were sharing and item the kitchen split and plated it for each us, HOW AMAZING! We couldn't decide between dessert since we were so full and short on time we picked the slightly quicker and smaller option; yet still our AMAZING server, G we'll call her, brought us a MINI bananas foster because she knew how much we wanted to try it but were scared of the portion size. I mean can you EVEN???? we felt SO taken care of by her and all other staff around us. everyone was moving with such grace and precision. I literally could not recommend this place enough!!! It's becoming our after work spot to grab a bite before going to a concert. I've still only gotten the Mini Filet Sandwiches which is center cut filet mignon on toasted brioche buns, Shaft's blue cheese, and onion Jam. I think I even got the same drink last time, the Spicy Margarita with El Jimador Tequila, Patrón Citrónge, fresh lime, jalapeño. It's so good! And the filet minon is $12 and the drink is $10. Even the free bread and butter is amazing sourdough with something added to the butter (maybe cinnamon, I'm not sure). We always just go casual and sit at the bar which is dark and moody but with friendly staff at the place that is typically a fancier dining experience. Go to their website and look at the whole menu for the Happy Hour which is 4p-6:30p every day of the week.

Let me start by saying that I was so impressed with my dinner that I had to ask a server if it was a Michelin star rated restaurant. I highly recommend the half chicken infused with basil, which was a beautiful flavor. The broccolini was my favorite, with the grilled lemony parmesan topping it was a showstopper. Even the french fries, which I was not supposed to eat, were tasty with their own house dip.. I did have a slight bit of food envy though- my friend ordered the filet, which she said was one of the best she's ever had. I'll let you know after I return tonight.!

However, the food leaves quite a bit to be desired. We got the peach caprese with focaccia dish and the focaccia had grill marks on it that tasted like a gas grill. It left a really weird Smokey, propane like taste. It would've been better just fresh out of the oven without the grill marks that seemed to just be for aesthetics. We also got the rigatoni and the pasta sauce was so so thin, like water. It didn't stick to the pasta at all and it wasn't spicy, it was just covered in red pepper flake which they were a bit too heavy handed with. We also got the XO chicken and it was very light on sauce which it kind of needed because it was a bit dry. Overall pretty disappointing and we left hungry because we didn't want to try anything else after striking out three times. Sadly wouldn't recommend as there are other places in Austin that are truly great.

Imagine my delight to find this little pocket of whimsy at the east end of the Barbara Jordan Terminal near Gate 14 (as if you're headed toward Delta and the Public Patio). The first indication of mystery is the infinity symbol on an overhead sign that would otherwise name a vendor or amenity. I simply had to stop & check it out.
