Don't go here. My husband took my car in to get a smog check No dash lights were on and the tech said it failed because the check engine light was on, which it wasn't until he adjusted something under the dash. This was the second time he tried to get the car to get a smog check, the first time the tech ignored him and just kept talking to whoever was there. I do not recommend them at all. The worst smog check place ever. read more

Was looking for a smog check that was open at an earlier time on a Saturday. Found MLK smog. There were 5 cars in line up the gentle running the machine was very quick and efficient so it didn't take long to get to the front. Once we did the smog he was very thorough in explaining the paper working the DMV registration. He was very nice and like I said very fast and efficient. read more

Came to get a smog and ended up leaving with my car registered and my title transferred without even having to step foot in the DMV. The customer service here exceeded any expectation I might have had! The gentleman that serviced my car was not extremely knowledgeable, patient and answered with all of my questions with no attitude! I honestly can't thank him enough for saving me time and money! If you ever need a smog, a title transfer, a registration please don't hesitate to come here! I'm getting my plates tomorrow! Not even at the dmv do they offer service like that! Very rude customer service. The side of the shack you are supposed to pull up to is not clearly marked for new customers when they are driving up. There was a cone blocking one of the lanes so I pulled up behind a truck on the other side and waited for my turn to get my Smog check done. After 10 minutes I go over and ask the guy if I was waiting in the right spot and was told to pull up on the side with the cone. Waiting there for 10 minutes with nobody helping me was bad enough, but this gets much better. When I pull up to the "Correct" spot they first apologized for me waiting when I did not have to. This was a nice gesture and I let them know that the signs could be a little more clear on what side to pull up to in the future to help out new customers like myself. Then he begins to defend why the set-up was that way. First he started on why the cone was blocking the correct side and then why "his" truck had to be parked right next to the shack on the other side there. When I then told him that I understand the reasoning, but the signs could still be a bit clearer on the instructions for new customers he then flat out insulted me. He said "Oh I'm sorry are you a business owner?" When I said "No" he proceeded to say "Oh, well you just seemed to know how to properly run a business so I thought you owned your own". This was said with a heavy amount of sarcasm and he might of well just said what he was thinking "Oh, I'm sorry but seeing as how you don't own a business your suggestions for me on how to run mine mean nothing." While I do not "own" my own business I do know a thing or two about good customer service and that is not what I received. I did not serve my country for 10 years in 3 countries to have some self-righteous insignificant man down talk to me like I am some kind of child. I was only offering some genuine constructive criticism for future customers and was treated with cynicism and disrespect. read more
