I came in here because I've had my figure skates for nearly 9 years and they recently started feeling overwhelmingly painful. Turns out the ball of my food has widened over the years. It might be time to get new skates soon, but until then, NWSA did a great job stretching open the toe box and allowing my feet the space they need to continue skating without so much pain. Quick service, very friendly. The only thing that sucks is that this location is very far from the city and there is not much to do in the area while you kill time. It takes roughly an hour or two to let the skates sit on the stretching machine so plan accordingly.

We have been in this store 3 times 2 of these times we encountered this same guy and both times he was rude. We are new to hockey and skating we know very little. So we go in to get skates the first time and the guy acted like we were an inconvenience and made a rude comment to my son about the shoes he was wearing they were crocs. Why he made the comment is beyond me it had nothing to do with what we were there for. But the whole time we were there he just had a p*$$ a**attitude like we were an inconvenience to him. Mind you no one else was in the store.... So we bought what we needed which was over $200 spent there. 2nd time we went there to get his skates sharpened like his skate coach told him to go in after class so we did and there were some teens working and they were very nice and said that they didn't have time at the moment but to come back another time so we said oh ok no problem we will come back next week before his class. Come back for the 3rd time and this skinny late 40's guy was there standing at the cash register doing absolutely nothing. I said hi do you have time to sharpen some skates? He looked at me said no. I said ok so when will you have time. He said well I have 15 sets to do which will take about an hour. I said oh ok so we could come back at 6:30? He said No. I said uh ok So like do I need to reserve a time. He said no it's first come first serve we don't reserve spots..... ok then And I left. Why would he tell me it would be about an hour to get those other skates done but when I said I would come back at 6:30 which would be 1.5 hours later he tells me no. Freaking rude no help and still have no idea how their system works because we are new, we live over an hour n a half away and he was no help with when we can get them done. We will never step foot in that store again. And being new to this we have a lot of money coming out of our pockets in the near futures but I guess we will now find some where else to support. Mind you there was another person Behind the counter just standing there shoving her face with candy so you can't tell me he couldn't be working on the skates that were there already. Not like they were busy or short staffed because no one was in the store and they were just standing around.

They had ample shoe and bottoms options as you can see from my photos. I was sad though that some of their more boutique pieces had such limited sizing available the employees were willing to help You order anything online, however I was going on a trip so I was looking for some specific pieces that I needed that day. I also loved that if they didn't have the size you needed in the "last few" section they would price match online as they were offering 30% off in store.

Last Christmas (December 2024), my girlfriend purchased a pair of Nike shoes for me through your online store. However, we later realized she had accidentally ordered a women's size 12 instead of a men's size 12. Over the past several months, we had intended to exchange them, but life got in the way--whether it was forgetting the receipt or just being too busy. Yesterday (Sunday, July 13), we finally made it to the store. It was a very busy afternoon, and while I searched for parking, my girlfriend went inside. She was initially told by the customer service representative that the shoes could not be returned due to the time that had passed. She wasn't upset, just a bit disappointed--after all, she simply wanted to get the right size for me. As she was leaving the store, the store manager, Rob, approached her and asked if she had found what she was looking for. She explained the situation, and Rob immediately brought her back to the customer service counter, authorized the return, and even offered an updated style of shoe. Rob's actions turned a potentially disappointing experience into a perfect example of phenomenal customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure we left with a positive impression--and most importantly, a smile. My girlfriend, our kids, grandkids, and I are all loyal Nike customers, and this experience only deepened our trust in the brand. Rob should absolutely be commended for his professionalism, empathy, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you again for providing such a positive and memorable shopping experience.

Unfortunately, we're a small shop and we can't afford to take losses like that while also trying to sell high quality gear at respectable prices. It sounded like your issue was common with people just starting out, so I would recommend sticking with it and I think you'll find that in a couple weeks your legs will become more accustomed to them." It is the quality of the product, don't assume I have not had experience already with other shin guards, or even experience in any discipline. I never had this happen until now, perhaps it's the brand. However, I was a returning customer because you carried items of sound quality. When it wasn't, I returned it, and a gift card was issued to me to spend at your shop In place of digital or cash refunds" Important to stay consistent in the message. To avoid issues like these. As far as your "re-sell as new" comment It's not on me what you do with returned product. You shop loss is just a customer, you will be just fine, you know that already. 5 Star for the history. We enrolled our 5 yr old in BJJ at River City Warriors nearby, and we were recommended to go here for gear. At first, I wasn't sure if they would carry a gi this small for my kiddo, but to my surprise, they did! Excellent selection to choose from in terms of boxing gloves, apparel, and gis! When we stepped into the shop, we were greeted and immediately saw a vast amount of boxing gloves sitting neatly on display. There are a lot of shirts related to fighting that people can rep. On the right-hand side lined up against the wall, there are gis in various sizes. They have sizes from infant to adult. My 5 yr old is about 30 lbs. She's petite and fits a size 0000. The gis come in white, blue, and pink. She chose blue! The quality is excellent too. Thick, starchy, and rich in color. The young person came to help us answer any questions we had and checked in the back to see if they had a gi in blue in size 0000. Thankful they had it! Otherwise, we would have had to place an order and waited a week for it to come in. For size reference: 0000 fits probably a 3-4yr old. It's slightly longer in the arms and the length of the pants, but she fits it pretty well. We can roll it up a little and that seems to fit perfectly. The brand we bought was Fuji. Great location even though the parking lot is small. Very busy location! Next to ColdStones and La Sen Vietnamese food.
